Fantastic house for a family Christmas get-together. All the supplies you could need for big family dinners in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, lots of towels. Short walk to the beach. Just fantastic!

When I booked this stay I was fully expecting blustery storm watching weather. Instead we had gorgeous sunny skies and beautiful sunsets for most of the stay, and were able to enjoy the view as well as even sit out on the deck for a bit. Our Irish Setter loved the yard and watching the deer in the green space behind the house.

If all the houses we have rented throughout the years this house was by far set up and stocked the best. Lots of pantry spices available. All the kitchen utensils you need. Plenty of towels. Easy walking distance to the beach. Quiet street. We thought there were kids bikes but there wasn’t. We would have brought ours. Would be nice to have a grill scraper for the BBQ. We cleaned it as best we could.

I was VERY impressed with Beach time on 5th. I don't recall reading about a clam cleaning station when I was checking out the amenities. That was a total bonus. I was a bit stressed about cleaning clam inside the house. The game room downstairs came in VERY handy for the kids and some adults!! I'll definitely be back and I'll be spreading the news about the great stay we all had😊

We had a great time visiting this beach property. Plenty of room for all our family and fun games for everyone. Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware and dinnerware you could think of. Only downside was the dishwasher wasn't working and we had to wash all dishes by hand. Overall, great place for a fun getaway with the family.

Beach Time on 5th is perfect in every way! It is only a 5-minute walk to the beach, a 10-minute walk to town, and a comfortable place to stay at Long Beach. We’ve stayed here over Labor Day weekend for several years and have consistently been pleased with the cleanliness, the amenities, the comfort, and the location—off the beaten path, but walking distance to everything. We will be back!

Information regarding internet access was incorrect, so no work could be done during our stay. Lock box very old and crusty. Extremely hard to get key out, and unable to replace at the end of our stay. Not enough coffee for the amount of people staying. Shower head in master bath needs replaced. My dog found clothing items under the beds from previous guests. Floors gritty from sand from previous guests.

We had a great time here celebrating our son's 6th birthday with family over a long weekend. It was both rainy and sunny intermittently, so we watched movies in the big TV room, played with the toys and played pool in the game room, walked in the beach, built sandcastles, etc. The two dogs loved playing fetch in the yard.
The house is newly remodeled and in great shape and very clean. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable, and we appreciated the carpet in the bedrooms and ground floor for sound absorption and coziness.
An unexpected bonus to our trip was that there was a parade in town on Sunday, so we got to stroll up to the main drag with our kid and see some marching bands, antique cars, floats, etc. Great house, great weekend!

We spent an amazing weekend in Long Beach at the Beach Time House. It was very well appointed for my two tweenage nieces as well as for the adults. The back yard was fenced and dog appropriate. The beach was within easy walking distance. The kitchen worked great for making homemade pizza - I did bring my own cast iron - but everything else was stocked and usable. The living room was super-relaxing with a smart TV which made casting Jackbox games to the TV a breeze. We walked to the Marsh museum and met Jake. The property management group was super-communicative with several informative emails leading up to our stay with clear instructions. 11 out of 10 stars!

Lovely Home Close to the Beach
My family and two dogs had a great long weekend in this home! It is less than a ten minute walk from the beach, and very close to downtown. The home is lovely, and has everything you need for a vacation on the coast.

Great location to walk to the beach. We had a fantastic time. Took the bikes out to the Lewis and Clark tree. Toys for the kids all ages. Mosquitoes make the fire pit impossible at night though. Otherwise clean, beautifully decorated.

Pros - Location is perfect! So close to the beach, but also close to main street (5 min walk), very quiet street. All 3 rooms on main floor were good sized with closet space. Linens were comfy, mattress on softer side. Box fan, extra blankets, pillows and a few hangers in closet. Hallway bath clean and well maintained. Plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked for a vacation rental (hand mixer, blender, sheet pans, veggie peeler, variety of food storage containers, colander, plenty of really nice place settings, dish towels, convection oven, variety of pots/pans, utensils, mixing bowls). Plenty of space in the fenced yard for our dog to run around, poop bags were available. Wood and gas fire pits. Gas grill worked fine. Lovely views of the sunsets and peek-a-boo views of the ocean. Downstairs was great for kids (bunk beds with attached seating area with tv) and the pool/air hockey/foosball were a lot of fun. Sectional couch on main floor was crazy comfortable.
Cons: Bikes were great to have, but need maintenance. 2 of the bikes' chains broke mid-ride. Knives were pretty dull (a sharpener would be a great addition to the kitchen). Mosquitos were insanely bad such that we never used the wood fire pit or sat on the deck much - bring repellent!

Close to the beach and town. We could walk everywhere. The fully fenced yard is perfect for pets. The kitchen had everything we needed. The game room was a ton of fun. The only downside were the blood-sucking mosquitoes in the backyard. They’re brutal and unrelenting.

Quiet Family-Friendly Neighborhood
This property is perfect for a weekend getaway for couples and their children and/or pets. The home had everything we needed. We arrived at the house and only left to pick up takeout a couple of nights. Also, the homeowner next door was SO NICE! He made restaurant recommendations AND gifted us fresh crab. If I return to the area, I sure hope this property is available for rent.

We had a wonderful time in Long Beach! This is our second time staying at BeachTime on 5th and it is the perfect house for our family! We especially love the fenced yard for our dog, the game room, and how close this house is to both the beach and the town! There's almost too much to do as we got in 30,000+ steps a day, played games, watched movies, ate lots of amazing homecooked meals around the big family table. We even barbecued and had smores at the fire pit when it was 42 degrees outside. We also got to see quite a few deer this time. Oh and got lots of use out of the bikes and even the sand toys in the garage!
