About this cabin rental
Lake Sutherland Retreat - is the place to find to true rest & relaxation! Described by a friend as 'just like being on Lake Como in Italy' with Storm King rising from the waters edge 2000' above the lake on the South side and the snow level dropping to Lake level. The Lake house is located on the Sunny side of Lake Sutherland for year round getaway's. Enjoy fishing from the dock for Kokanee, Cut Throat and Rainbow trout. Kayaking is very relaxing way to enjoy your morning by cruising the lake when everyone is still waking up. Shared dock is available for boating, jet skis and any other water sports you can think of doing. Like to hike? Check out the Spruce Railroad trail on the back side of Lake Crescent or Marymere Falls on this side by Lake Crescent Lodge. Or head up to Sol-Duc Hot Springs just past Lake Crescent and get into the Olympic National Park and hike forever. The Hoh Rain Forrest is about an hour and half away and coastal beaches for day hikes.

The location of this home is just beyond incredible. The views are spectacular and it had a very nice covered outdoor deck.The fire pit area was really nice, but we weren’t able to enjoy because of the rain. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated a nice functional grill. So many vacation rentals have grills that are just so old and rusted they are unusable. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Very large laundry room too. Large living area for being just a two BR home. Few parts of the home or older, but very well maintained. Loved how many windows there were so you could still see all the majesty of this alpine Lake location. Wanted to be close to Crescent Lake and it’s just a short 10 minute drive. Hope I can return for another day in the future.

Nice spacious home in a picturesque setting. Wonderful hosts. General store has a little of everything but spendy so I would get majority of items in Port Angeles. Their ice cream is great though!
