Situated in Wailea, this lovely condo for $190 per night is a great option for your next trip. Personal Touch: We stock everything you need: dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, napkins, Kleenex, TP, garbage bags, coffee filters etc... All you need to bring is you! We provide the definition of a care free vacation, if this interests you, read on... This is our home away from home—-we are here twice a year—-so you can be assured the conditions, amenities and supplies are far above the average rental. Why take your chances with a rental pool condominium where you have no idea of the quality or location of your unit until the day you arrive? Our unit is available to rent directly from the owner and we will work with you to assure your vacation in this little slice of paradise is the best that it can be. Nestled in the Southern most part of Kihei, bordering Wailea and close to the best beaches on Maui, is our 1061-square-foot, one-bedroom, two-bath, garden view condominium--unit K109. We also have K103 (91997) which is close to K109 and is perfect if you are traveling with friends. The condominium is situated in the 23-acre low rise, low density Maui Kamaole complex. The complex is carpeted in lush tropical gardens with flowers and palms that give it a feel more like Wailea but at a Kihei value. With two pools, two Jacuzzis, Barbecues throughout and two tennis courts, you will not be disappointed. And please take advantage of the proximity to beautiful Wailea with its five-star resorts, great restaurants, golf courses and the Shops at Wailea shopping center. Our condominium is one of the newest units in the complex with construction completed in 2001. The complex has two swimming pools with two Jacuzzis. We are just steps away from the upper tropical pool-—complete with waterfall and sand bottom Jacuzzi. The back lanai has a very private feeling with no traffic to disturb your peaceful evenings. Our front courtyard and real lanai offer lush tropical plantings for a little extra privacy and tropical feel. The facility also boasts two tennis courts, again just steps away from our unit, and two barbecues at each pool with an additional Webber barbecue at each pod for your convenience. Our condominium offers all the comforts of home with a fully appointed kitchen including full range/oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and all the accoutrements the creative cook desires. The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed and is beautifully done in a Hawaiian motif. The large master bath has two sinks and a full tub and shower. The living room also features a queen-sized sofa bed with a bathroom with shower in the adjacent hall. For entertainment there are TV/VCRs with cable in both the master bedroom and living room. You will also find a DVD player, a CD player and high-speed wireless internet is included at no extra charge. Even though this is a cool downstairs unit with great cross ventilation due to the afternoon trades, it is equipped with ceiling fans in the living room, kitchen and master bed. But it also has two air conditioners should you choose. You will also find a few other niceties like a digital safe in the master bed to house your laptop, a full-sized refrigerator with ice maker, full sized stacked washer/dryer, dishwasher and even an ironing board. It was just what we were hoping for. This is not a luxury condo but it was nicely priced, clean and everything worked, with plenty of space indoors and outdoors to spend time together or get a little alone time.
We went to some events at big resorts and although they have in principle fancier grounds/pools I really appreciated the less ostentatious but still lovely private space on the patio of this unit. I'm not sure that even if I wanted to pay 2-10x as much I would actually choose the resort experience over this experience.
The grounds and landscaping in the complex were very nice and although there were lots of families around it was peaceful. They have property management who are clearly checking up on things and keeping them maintained.
This unit is steps from the pool with lots of lovely shade from palm trees. If you are looking for a gigantic over the top resort pool you may be disappointed (although I recently learned you can buy day passes to resort pools through a third party service if you book them in advance, so that's something to consider).
The bedroom and living room have thick carpet, which is not my personal preference because of allergies, but it ended up being okay for me. The kitchen was great, with nice appliances and countertops. Extremely clean and no evidence of pests at all.
I don't feel that anything burdensome was asked of me at checkout in terms of cleanup or checkout.
Highly recommend as a home base in Maui.

The condo is very spacious, beautiful, clean and has everything you need. 2 bathrooms were so convenient for 4 of us. Pool and jacuzzi at night was bonus! Walking distance to the beach yet little away from mail street so no tourist or traffic noise. The lanai has private space, loved morning coffee listening to beautiful birds. Definitely love to come back here!!

We had an awesome time in K109 such a nice garden and close to pool and BBQ. Everything we needed was in this clean spacious unit. Minor criticism was check in is rather late at 4pm after we had travelled over night from Australia.

The condo was even better than the pictures. This is our third condo at Maui Kamaole condos. This one was as the others quiet and comfortable with everything we needed. We love the location, the layout of the condos, and the check-in process has gotten easier than in years past. We have no complaints.

Once again, our family had a great stay. Once again, we really enjoyed our facilities at Maui Kamaole. Favorite activities included the Kaanapali zipline and ATV tour in Wailuku. The plane barely touched down...and we decided to start making plans for a return trip, hopefully soon!

This condo is in very good condition. It has everything you need for your stay, including beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels. The beach is just a short walk or drive. It's close to shopping in either Kihea or Wailea. We will definitely rent this condo again. We had great communication with the owner both before and during our stay: she wants to make sure everything is going well.

3 of us stayed in this lovely apartment for 9 days and it was fabulous. We especially loved walking out onto the ground floor lanai you eat our breakfast and drink our morning coffee. The apartment has everything we needed and was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We’d absolutely stay again. Thanks for having us!

Lovely condo. Gorgeous pool although not perfect for kids... Ton of rules and security that wouldn't let them play with any water toys on the pool not even a soft water nerf ball in their own area of the pool. The sofa bed was in dire need of extra padding. Otherwise perfectly. The patio had the most welcoming peaceful energy. Drinking coffee with gorgeous trees and tropical sounding birds was amazing. Only 4 beach towels so laundry daily for 4 of us was absolutely needed. There is a washing machine and dryer and supplies for washing along with nice appliances especially in the kitchen including dishwasher. Board games and books and boogie boards. We bought an extra to contribute to the collection. :) I would be honored to stay there again. 🙏 God bless this home and all whole visit. It is a great place if you need quiet clean peaceful environment.

The hide a bed in the living room is a typical hide a bed, we purchased a cot at Costco that worked great for us and was more comfortable. We loved the quiet setting of the lanai and enjoyed our meals outside almost every day. The pool area is very tropical and full of happy parents and kids. We spent most of our time at the local beaches and snorkelling down south. The local beaches are in great proximity and if you have people wanting to do different things every day it is a very easy walk to the beach and to amenities. We really enjoyed our stay, we did have one small problem while we were there and maintenance came right away and fixed it as well as the owners were great when we were booking the rental. Overall we had a great time in Kihei and the vacation rental was awesome!!

Really nice place to stay. Location is perfect and the condo has everything you'll need to make the most of your stay. The beach gear available (coolers, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards etc) was greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks in Kihei and can't wait to come back.

Some items need to be replaced
Excellent in all ways except for the loud A/C, outdated coffee maker and TV. In fact, there were instructions on how to turn on the TV. Also, the bed was so high I could not see the alarm clock unless I looked down. I was afraid that if I fell out of bed, I might hit my head on the end table. Finally, the loud in-wall air conditioner is located at floor level opposite the bed and blows directly on the heads of those in bed.

Enjoyed another comfortable stay at MKK109. Always clean and well stocked with all the amenities. Beautiful complex and easy parking. Owners are wonderful to work with making sure your stay is all a tropical destination vacation should be. Certainly recommend this unit should you be looking for reasonable priced home away from home!
