Situated in Arnolds Park, this attractive house for $295 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This beautiful remodeled West Okoboji home is perfect for a family vacation or just a fun weekend getaway! You can enjoy views of beautiful West Lake Okoboji from every room of the house or enjoy them on the very large patio and deck! The house is located on Smiths bay of West Lake Okoboji and offers amazing sunset and sunrise views!! You are only steps away from the famous Arnolds Park Amusement park, the Central Emporium and all of the shopping and restaurant's the lakes area has to offer. From your private patio and deck you can watch the fireworks shooting over the lake or sip on a cocktail as the boaters, skiers and water boarders go by. Outside, you have a private dock and stairs that lead into a private swimming area. Sit in the sun, fish, or just hang out on the dock! This home was built with family in mind and can sleep up to 20-23 comfortably. The house is great for family vacations, reunions, or events! The upstairs of the house has great lake views and 6 newly remodeled bedrooms and a brand new bathroom with dual vanity sinks! The living room or finished basement are perfect for games, movies or a round of cards. The main floor has a brand new kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and stainless steal sink. The kitchen has a large center island for the family to gather around and the kitchen and dining room are an open concept layout. So the cook can view the lake and not have to worry about missing out on the fun and entertainment while they cook! There is also a fully furnished and finished basement with a bonus room and tv/game room for the kids! The front yard also has a fire pit to sit around and tell stories or enjoy some smores! The property also has a gas grill for cookouts. Also we recently added a water slide at the end of the dock for your enjoyment. Nearby boat ramp for putting your boat in and out of the water or marina for boat rentals, jet skis or sailboats. Restaurants, amusement park, water park and public beaches are all close by. This property is not on the canal or harbor but located directly on west okoboji. **Note** The dock is usually put in the end of May and taken out mid October. If renting be aware of these dates if having a dock is important.

I can see why this rental is booked solid during the summer months. Plenty of room for everyone and great location. We rented this for Christmas since we had extra family this year. Open area for us all to be together and everyone had their private rooms too. The lake wasn't frozen so the kids could watch the ducks. Would love to stay here during the summer to take advantage of the location and fun things to do. But it worked well for our family's Christmas too. Highly recommend.

Gorgeously renovated inside, right on the lake. Island in the kitchen for eating, plus a table. Fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and ice maker. Very nice.

This home is beautifully placed near all the activities in Arnold's Park with a beautiful peaceful setting looking directly over the lake. This home has everything you could need for your get away! Our west Okiboji home was wonderful and was beyond our expectations! The home and yard are well maintained and clean. Lots of room and beautiful kitchen to prepare meals. Everyone had a great time. Only problem is no one wanted to leave! Thank you Shawn!

The house was amazing…plenty of room for the 9 of us plus room for more! We enjoyed the yard, the dock, and the fire pit as well. Beautiful kitchen and suited our needs well.

Family spent the weekend at the property- 7 adults and 4 children with room to spare and lots of separated space to play. Location is amazing and easy walking distance to food, shopping and parks. The deck and lake view was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Good stay nice property. Kitchen & bath very well appointed. Bedrooms could use updating upstairs. I stayed in the 1st bedroom on the right & bed very lumpy & uncomfortable, my back still hurts. I’ve stayed in at least 7 VRBO & have never been asked to strip beds & wash towels.

Beautiful location and easy access to this property with an accessible and friendly host! Large gathering area with fully stocked kitchen and long center Island made a functional and very accommodating family area. Bedrooms and basement sleeping area were adequate. Only 2 bathrooms are challenging for a large group. House is surprisingly quiet between floors which made sleeping easy! We had a wonderful weekend and made a lot of priceless memories !

Wonderful house with 7 bedrooms. One bedroom has three bunk beds. Main part of the house has been updated and is awesome. Outstanding kitchen with everything you need. The two bathrooms are very nice and newly remodeled. The bedrooms are basic older cabin bedrooms but we didn’t spend any time in them except to sleep. Every room had its own air conditioning unit. . We worried a little about the dock being pretty old and springy but our family loved the fun water slide and fishing from the dock. We rented a boat one day and we were very thankful for the ability to dock it at the cabin. There is a large backyard with a big fire pit and a hammock. There are steep steps going down to the dock but there is a gate at the top for safety and lights. The location is amazing. We would love to go back and spend more time at the Okoboji house. We created wonderful memories there.

This is the second year my family has stayed at this property. It is perfect for a larger family. The parking is incredible. Love being on the water. Birdseye view of fireworks. We spent many hours on the deck or playing in the backyard. The fire pit is great! Many outdoor chairs and tables. We could walk to Arnolds Park, shopping, and restaurants/bars. Many bedrooms/beds.

Extremely nice lakeside house on West Okoboji. Walking distance to activities. The family enjoyed swimming, fishing and playing on the slide from the dock. Very handy to launch your boat from your own boat dock. Thanks.

If your looking for a great place to vacation with a larger group of people or family with lots of kids this is it. With 6 rooms that all have AC we were all able to have our own rooms. This couldn’t be a more perfect spot right before on the lake and walking distance to two beaches and Arnold’s park! House is fully stocked with everything you need!

This is our second year at this house and our 15th summer on the lake in Okoboji! A tradition we began when our kids were just babies! This house has all the things.. a dock for us to swim from, ample outdoor rec space for everyone, a dining room table that accommodated a great pre-Father’s Day meal, bedrooms for all of us to feel spaced out and walking distance to Arnold’s Park and our favorite coffee shop! Thank you again for an amazing week in your beautiful home! If there was a place for pictures I’d put them here for you to see and share!

The house is so nice and it’s within walking distance of restaurants and Arnold Park. We rented a pontoon from Okoboji Boatworks and it was just a 2 minute ride on the lake to pick up the family at the house’s dock. Great view, easy access to everything and it was so easy to work with the owners! We will DEFINITELY be back!! Thanks for a great stay, Shawn!
