About this cottage rental
This quiet cottage with a view of the Grand Mesa is located 1/4 mile from world famous road and mountain biking and hiking trails and three miles from the east entrance of the Colorado National Monument. We are 2 miles from downtown Main Street with famous Art on the Corner, art galleries, shopping, restaurants, the historic Avalon theater and seasonal farmers market. Our cottage is located 10 miles from Fruita Co, 11 miles from the Palisade orchards and wineries, 90 miles from Moab and 2 hours, to Telluride, Aspen and Vail. The Powderhorn ski resort is 45 minutes away on the Grand Mesa, largest flat top mountain in the world. There is nordic skiing, golf, fishing, and hunting in the area.

Great location for the the experiences Grand Junction has to offer! Beds were comfy, generous with toiletries & kitchen needs were well stocked..especially that banana chocolate bread! Only downside was trip hazards with steps and uneven patio to deck..although it did not stop us from morning coffee on deck..thank you Jackie for hosting us and sharing your home!

This property was comfortable for the two of us and our little dog. It is a very interesting home with lots of history throughout the home. It has a great master suite with an outdoor door to the backyard, where we spent our early mornings and evenings watxhing deer and quail and just relaxing. Great place to slow down and relax.
