OCEANFRONT: Turtle Point is a shallow stretch of crystal clear water that is just perfect! Turtles have found this to be an ideal nursing ground to raise their young and often come in within a few feet of the seawall. The calm and clear waters lend itself to snorkeling and other water activities. The ocean is about waist deep and teeming with live corals, tropical fish and families of turtles. You can climb in to swim with the turtles, or just lounge beachside and enjoy them from the front yard just a few feet away. During whale season, mother whales and their calves pass right outside the reef in deeper water, and offer the perfect photo opportunity.
