Situated in St. Croix, this charming villa for $580 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Unwind at the Carambola Villa Retreat, a sophisticated and elegantly furnished 1.5-acre hideaway blessed with amazing views of rolling hills, lush tropical gardens and the ocean. The 3,500 square-foot villa accommodates 12 guests comfortably, but can be made available for up to a maximum of 16 with use of futons and a cot. This is a great vacation spot for family and friends as well as coveted Health and Wellness, Meditation, and Wedding Destination. You will feel like you are in a tropical paradise on this property that lies just one mile away from the island’s only Rainforest. Dozens of palm trees, tropical flora and a view of rolling hills greet you inside the Carambola Golf Course (received a four star rating from GOLF Magazine), where you can tee off on the par-72 course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. HOUSE DETAILS 4 spacious bedrooms (with bathrooms) sit on either side of the Great Room, noted for it’s beautiful high Cyprus ceiling. 1 room has 2 King size beds, 2 twin size beds and a futon in a separate area, and a full bath with shower. 1 room has a king size bed and a full bath with shower. 1 room has a queen size bed, a futon, and a full bath with shower. And 1 room has a queen size bed, a futon, and a half bath in the room with an outdoor shower. There is also a cot that can be used if needed. There is a sitting room with a full scale entertainment center, 60” TV, and bar. We have hi-speed WIFI. There will be an extra fee of $25 per person/ per day on parties of more than 8 booked on or after 5/1/24 due to an increased usage of power, water, and cleaning costs. The open concept living room kitchen is ideal for preparing meals with your friends and family, which may be served in the dining area or the big patio. The kitchen is equipped with 16-Piece place setting, crystal wine and champagne glasses and a Keurig coffee machine. One of the main allures of the property is the expansive entertainment terrace, set with pool, BBQ, fire place and seating for 12 people for al fresco dining. Edged by the natural tropical gardens, here on the sunny deck you will marvel at the long distance sea views and gorgeous clear nights, surrounded by thousands of stars. Facing the valley lies the most captivating feature of the Villa. The Villa boasts a tropical garden with multiple wooden decks and terraces that are connected by several bridges and pathways. The pathways connect a number of enticing sites, including: another outdoor fireplace, meditation and yoga spaces. AMENITIES In the Villa, we have a number of amenities made available for our guests pleasure. These include: TV in each room and living room High-Speed WIFI Fully Equipped Kitchen Note - Property Managers live downstairs on property in separate apartment. We do our very best to stay quiet and out of the way. ACTIVITIES Three miles away on the North Shore is the famous Cane Bay Beach, rated as one of the top dive sites in the entire Caribbean. This is also meeting point for sunset beach bars and incredible restaurants. Take a a two mile hike with spectacular views of Annaly Bay and Carambola Beach (or take an adventurous Jeep tour) to St Croix's famous Tide Pools or try the Carambola Zipline or Horseback riding, right at the entrance to the Carambola Golf Course. Another one of St Croix’s attractions is The Bioluminescent Bay in Salt River Bay National Park. It’s the historic site that Christopher Columbus landed on his second voyage to the New World, but come by night and see the water glow! The Villa is also within a 15-minute drive to the island’s two rum distilleries (Captain Morgan and Cruzan), where you can tour the facilities and learn about the process of making our island's signature rums. Danish architecture awaits you in the two towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted where you will find many historic buildings, old forts, fishing charters and duty free shopping! Try your luck at Divi Carina Bay Casino on the island’s east end. GETTING AROUND You can easily rent a car from several providers including Centerline, Avis, and Budget Rent-A-Car.

My family and I had a great time. We loved the home and the surroundings. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We had an event there which comfortably accommodated over 50 guests. Everyone had a great time and mentioned how beautiful the home and surroundings were. The patio is large! The hill views are outstanding and calming. The location is exactly what we wanted. There wasn’t an ocean view from the house but the hills views more than made up for it. The property manager is awesome. She went above and beyond to assist us in setting up for the event. My family and I would highly recommend staying here.

The manager, Nike, was so pleasant and helpful to work with. She gave us great tips on restaurants and things to do in the area and, being the head chef at a local restaurant, she also prepared a wonderful breakfast for us one morning and an absolutely amazing and delicious dinner for our family on Christmas. The home is spacious and comfortable and almost everything we needed to get to was within 20 minutes.

My Wife and I visited recently with our four adult daughters and the home was great. The large home is well laid out and very comfortable. We often cook as a family and there is plenty of room in the kitchen for multiple cooks. We had never been to St Croix before and we are always concerned about safety when visiting the Caribbean but Alex's home is in a great location in a gated community and at no time did we ever feel unsafe. The home is in great location to explore the Island during the day and come home to your own private retreat at night. We explored many beaches on the island but our favorite was at the Carambola beach resort that was included in our stay. We did have a issue with a newer Refrigerator on Easter Sunday and the property manager had a replacement unit available the very next day. Problems are always going to arise but it is how they are handled that counts and they did a wonderful job. Also we really loved St Croix and we are already planning a return trip.

We spent our family spring break vacation at the Carambola house. We had an excellent time. This beautiful home is in a great location on the island, offered great amenities, and was excellent for kids. We will definitely be returning soon for our next family vacation!!

We had a group of 4 couples. The house and the grounds were spacious and luxurious. We had plenty of space for alone time and plenty of choices for gatherings. We look forward to returning again.

On my recent mini vacation to St.Croix, I stayed 3 nights in this beautiful home. The scenery was amazing and the home was well prepared. I suggest anybody wanting to maximize their Cruzan experience consider renting this home. You won't be disappointed. Sean J

This house is very spacious and tranquil. With amazing views over looking the hills and the ocean. We stayed for a week and really didn't want to leave. We have rented many times before, but this house really makes you feel at home. I highly recommend this rental to anyone that is looking for a great house for vacation. It's in a great save neighborhood, very close to the airport and many great beaches.

This spacious, comfortable home was the perfect place to spend the Christmas holiday with family and friends. The home is centrally located with amazing views of the ocean and lush tropical forests. Access to the Renaissance pool, beach, and gym was included. The interior of the home was beautifully furnished and huge, perfect for our large family. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple large family meals. There was even a fully stocked honor bar. The owners were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. They set up a Christmas tree before we arrived, booked a bio bay tour for us, and even became our impromptu tour guides. I highly recommend this property!
