About this cabin rental
Situated in Mount Airy, this charming cabin for $95 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. A super nice cozy log cabin located only 6 miles from Mount Airy and the Andy Griffith Museum. It is sitting on a little farm. Miniature donkeys and pygora goats are on surrounding property. We always provide orange juice, milk, breakfast bread or muffins, with a little bag of candy from Opie's Candy Shop. We are sometimes able to provide fresh eggs when our chickens are laying well. I could not ask for a better experience. The cabin was very spacious and the pictures do it no justice. Equipped with everything including cinnamon bread, juice and the chocolate was a nice touch. The short drive to town’s scenery was just beautiful. We look forward to coming back soon.

I recently stayed at this lovely quaint cabin. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The cabin is immaculate, decorated so nicely with so much attention to detail, and it is so comfortable and cozy. There are majestic views of farmland and farm animals grazing that just MAKE you relax. The hospitality of the owners, Kim and Randy, exceeds all expectations. The kitchen has everything needed, the bed is so comfy, the jacuzzi tub is a great addition. There is accent lighting that adds to the lightness of the interior. There is an inviting front porch with comfy swings and a place to just “ sit and rock”. The owners are so generous and welcoming with treats and milk and juice. EVERYTHING WORKS in the cabin; the owners make sure of that. I felt extremely safe and because it’s pet friendly I was able to take my dog who made herself right at home in her bed by the gas logs. I cannot wait to return to this peaceful haven when all the foliage is lush and green. Even in the winter it’s such a lovely place. I’ve found my getaway!!! Thank you Randy and Kim !

Enjoyed our stay very much! We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed some quiet time to ourselves. Loved visiting Mt. Airy and seeing Mayberry USA! Highly recommend this cabin! We will be back!

Beautiful location in the woods but only 15 minutes to downtown Mt. Airy where there are restaurants and shopping.
Kim and Randy, our hosts, were warm and friendly. The accommodations were spotless and they went the extra mile to provide OJ, milk and bread for toast. We loved the farm setting with donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks and the cat Mr. Jingles.
We will definately be back again!

This little cabin is located in a farm setting but oh so close to shopping and the tourist sights. We enjoyed watching the goats, donkeys, and Guineas. Although we did go see some of the sights, our favorite thing was simply just spending our time at the cabin. The owners are the sweetest people. We look forward to when we can visit again.

Many thanks to Randy, Kim, and of course the resident cat Mr. Jingles for a quiet, relaxing two-night stay. Everything was exceptional—the hospitality, the cleanliness of the cabin, the fun farm animals, and the flowers and unique sculptures which dotted the landscape. The cabin is secluded but close enough to the main house that I felt 100 percent safe at all times. Pilot Mountain is only 20 mins. away, and it was great to see it again after so many years. I would recommend Holly Hill cabin to anyone!

This is what we needed, away from the city for a couple of nights. The place was clean, beautiful scenery and had a place for our dog to run. Owners communicated well and were accommodating for our request. Already booked another small get away in April, highly recommend!

Very wonderful atmosphere from beginning to end! Loved ‘Mr Jingles’ and everyone of your animals. Randy & Kim were a great pleasure to chat with. The property was great & wouldn’t change a thing unless a stool in bedroom or bath for two old people 😁 So enjoyed our time in your cabin!

We stayed at this beautiful cabin for two nights while visiting Mount Airy. It is an absolutely perfect one bedroom/one bath cabin. The decor is rustic and charming. There are cute little things to see all around the property, both indoors and out. You can tell it is a labor of love for owners Kim and Randy to keep the property in pristine condition for their guests. We enjoyed taking a little stroll a couple of times each day to visit with the farm animals. Our favorites were Ben and Pixie. We appreciated the little extras like a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread, Hershey bars, and flavored coffee creamer. Kim and Randy were great hosts! We loved it so much we have already reserved it and another little house nearby for another visit next April with our whole family. 😊

Great hosts, great location. Cozy as well decorated. The goats, donkeys and cat were a pleasant surprise. My wife loved watching them.

It was without a doubt the most pleasant place we have ever stayed. The cabin was beautiful and homely. The property surrounding it was well maintained enhanced with works of art some created by Kim. We loved the animals especially Mr. Jingles the cat who greeted us and the donkeys big Ben and Napoleon. Kim and Randy were exceptional hosts and we can't wait to return.

Kim and Randy were so friendly and did a great job making sure we had juice, milk, cinnamon bread and a chocolate snack once we arrived. Everything about this cabin was excellent! It was very clean & you would never know that it was pet friendly cabin. It was close to everything we wanted to do for our stay in Mt. Airy. Mr. Jingles the cat was a delight as well as all the other animals. I would absolutely give it a 10 out of 10 and would stay here again. I will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

Perfect lil cabin away from reality but not too far away from everything and anything you may need or want. Cabin is immaculate with all the necessities you'll need instead of having to haul them there yourself. 100% better than any hotel and price was great!! Owners are great and a pleasure to talk with..... including the cabin mascot, Mr. Jingles, a very pleasant and sweet kitty.🐈

The cabin was just gorgeous and the surrounding were beautiful. We enjoyed our visits with Mr. Jingles, although he didn't care to much for Blauw (police dog). Lol We will definitely stay again. You also couldn't ask for better host. We were brought fresh eggs from the farm as well as juice and coffee. It was amazing. It definitely deserve all the 5 start ratings that it gets!!

Great hosts and a super cabin and farm. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the farm animals. Pretty close to town and all the attractions and stores. The cabin is clean and well kept with a few snacks included. We really enjoyed the stay.

This was my first VRBO experience and it was great! Great place to stay, great host. I highly recommend this cabin for those who need some rest. Mount Airy was a nice change of pace to relax and see some sights and do some hiking at Pilot Mountain. Would love to return in the Fall.

Upon arriving at the cabin we were just a little early and they went ahead and let us come on in. Was done mowing and cleaning. We checked out a cpl. hours earlier and this was one of the most peaceful, relaxing vacations I have ever been on. The cabin is so beautiful that they built and comes equipped with anything that you need. Absolutely loved it !!! My first time ever staying in a cabin and I will definitely go back. Our fur babies were happy as well, we got to feed the donkeys and goats and cat Mr Jingles and swing on the front porch and just relax. It was almost like a piece of heaven! The owners, Randy & Kim were very friendly and nice and you couldn't ask for two better people! They welcome us in with orange juice, milk ,candy and cinnamon bread. We had a great time! This cabin is perfect. My husband and I had a relaxing weekend sitting in the porch swing drinking coffee each morning listening to the farm animals(and MrJingles). The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. The town and shops are cute, worth visiting. We're already planning a return visit.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, peaceful cabin. Everything is as pictured. Beautiful nature surrounded us for our stay. The owners Randy and Kim are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our conversations with them. We loved all the animals and of course Mr. Jingles the cat who is such a love bug. He followed me everywhere. He loves to sit by you on the porch. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay at Mt. Holly cabin again. Thank you Randy an Kim for the goodies and for making us feel so at home.

Can't say enough about our hosts. Great people who make you feel relaxed as soon as you meet them. Cabin was extremely clean. The views were what you might expect on top of Holly Hill. Beautiful. You could not ask for a better setting to relax and kick back. Thank you Randy and Kim. P.S. We are coming back.
