About this cottage rental
Spacious one bed, one bath beach house in Davis Creek- Fresh Creek Andros Bahamas, located on unspoiled private beach.
Fully furnished. It can sleep a maximum of 2 persons .
This unit has a railed deck. The deck is ideal for enjoying the fresh ocean breeze in the day or you can gaze at the stars in the moon lit sky at night.
This property is ideal for vacationers who just want to get away from it all. But, also provides for the for self-catering adventure types who enjoy fishing, walking, exploring, beach combing, snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. In addition to our amenities, the property is ideally located near a food store which is one building over and a restaurant which is located five building over.
This beach apartment/cottage is also ideal for DIY bone fishing.
Occupants can choose to swim in the crystal clear waters or just feel the sand underneath his/her feet as one stroll the white sandy beach.
Or, if you prefer, you can relax on the deck and sun bath in the beach chairs.
Wi Fi access and flat screen TVs are available in the units.
We provide ocean pro kayaks. As well as arrange guided bone fishing, nature walks and bird watching.
If you want to walk off the deck onto the beach/sand, you will love this property in the Fall and Winter. The sand reaches almost the height of the sea wall as shown in the pictures. However, the sand recedes in the summer.
The property can be rented nightly, weekly or monthly. A car is optional. But it is recommended. As Andros is very large and the settlements are far apart.
Andros is the largest and most mystique Island in the Bahamas. It is located just 190 miles South East of Florida. It boasts the third largest barrier reef in the world (a world class dive lodge is also located less than a mile away from the property).
This magical Island is also called the bone fishing capital of the world.
Over fifty species of orchards, wild boar, iguanas and rare birds make this island their home.
Despite the fact this is the largest Island in the Bahamas it is the least discovered. Andros is called the 'sleeping giant'. It takes you away from the city of Nassau casinos and traffic. It boasts deserted beaches, crystal clear waters, untouched pine forests and a number of blue holes. It is also the home of the world famous Androsia, a type of bright color clothing. The Average temperature year-round is 80F.
Travel to Andros: You can also fly direct to Nassau and then on to Andros Town via a 10 minute domestic flight via the companies LeAir or TitanAir. If travelling from the United States the companies Watermakers or Air Flight Charters can be used.

It was wonderful having a small kitchen and a washer and dryer. The deck opens directly onto the beach and although the deck is small it’s lovely. We were in Ruby and Sapire was next door. It was perfect as we shared the space with our family. It’s a great place to be together. Trevor and Mario were super great. Always available to help if needed.

We had a wonderful time at Treasures of Andros. From the moment we arrived, Mario was incredibly welcoming — he met us personally, gave us a tour of the cottage, and was very responsive when we needed a light for the gas stove one day. He also arranged transportation to and from Fresh Creek Airport, as well as a rental car, which made the whole trip much smoother.The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the basics we needed. Like others have mentioned, having our own washer and dryer was a big plus — we brought a couple of single-use detergent boxes from home, which worked out perfectly.We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a different unit, which came with both a screened-in porch and an open-air deck — great to have options depending on the weather (and the sand flies!). Some of our favorite moments were spent sitting outside after sundown, stargazing under the clear Andros sky.The location was ideal for exploring both the north and south parts of the island. We went during a quieter season, so some places were closed, but we ended up enjoying several meals at Brigadier’s — generous portions, good drinks, and very friendly service. There's also a nearby convenience store that’s surprisingly well-stocked; in hindsight, we would have checked there first for basic groceries.All in all, a peaceful and well-located stay with great hospitality. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed in the Treasures of Andros. Definitely exceeded my expectations. First off the owner Trevor was there waiting my arrival. That was awesome. I was lucky to get an upgrade that I was not expecting, the Emerald Bungalow was very nice. The location is beautiful and right on the water with a nice little beach (very clean) steps out the back door. There is also a very nice restaurant a few doors down from the unit- Brigadiers. I would definitely recommend staying at the Treasures of Andros. I will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our villa/duplex opened right onto the beach. The amenities were great (its nice to pop your towels in the dryer) and everything was clean. You cant beat the view. If youre not much for cooking yourself, Brigadiers is at the end of the block and has excellent food (and drinks!).Mario was very helpful and always available if needed.The island and its people are very relaxed and slow paced. No one is in a hurry. Everyone is friendly. I was a bit nervous about driving on the left for the first time, but you see so few other cars that its pretty easy. I joked with Mario that I just had to drive like a local, which means down the middle of the road and if you see someone coming, dodge to the left. Fortunately, the Queens Highway has been recently repaved. A couple things to consider if youre thinking of coming to Andros is provisions and power. The grocery stores are more akin to a large convenience store. We preferred Gaiters, but Mabels was more convenient. Also, in our 6 days/5 nights we only went one 24 hour period with uninterrupted electricity. The outages lasted anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or so. Some locals we talked to said its not uncommon but seemed to be happening more often lately. Perhaps theyre working on the grid like they are working on the roads.Andros is a wonderful, beautiful island, and its hard to beat The Treasures for a place to stay.
