About this cabin rental
Located in Crosslake, this charming cabin for $365 per night is a great choice for your next break. Bring your friends and family to beautiful Lake O'Brien in Crosslake, MN., located just 2 hours north of the Twin Cities. With all the amenities of home, this cabin has all you need to enjoy your northwoods getaway! The cabin is situated just steps from the water's edge. There are two bedrooms on the main level and a third bedroom in the lower level with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. There is one full bathroom on the main level with washer/dryer for easy access. HDTV smart TV 's on both levels and free wifi are also included. The kitchen has brand new appliances. All three bedrooms have also been recently remodeled. The cabin is perfect for up to 6 guests. We suggest a limit of 6 due to the size of the cabin and single bathroom. The cabin is located 5 miles East of Crosslake, which has a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops to please the entire family. The lake is perfect for all types of recreational water activities or just relaxing on the dock and soaking up the sun. Bring your own boat and launch it at the new boat launch, which has parking located nearby. Take advantage of all the lake has to offer in the Winter months as well. Enjoy ice fishing on the lake or snowmobiling on the freshly groomed trails around the area. No matter the season or reason for your getaway, this cabin has everything you need to make lasting memories with friends and family! We do keep our calendar up to date, so if you are seeing availability, then it is likely available. Please feel free to inquire with any questions you may have and we will promptly reply. Weekly rentals are Friday to Friday. Check in is at 4:00 PM and check out is at 10:00 AM PONTOON INCLUDED WITH ALL JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST RENTALS.

We enjoyed our short stay! Accommodations are very nice, comfy furniture, great TV for watching the U.S. Open Tennis! Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view, night sky magnificent and breathtaking. We relished the cozy, quiet retreat. Loved watching the pair of loons. Chris was very prompt and friendly in responding to any questions. Would definitely return.

We enjoyed the cabin and the area. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we could possibly need for our stay, actually more amenities than most other rental properties we have stayed in. A big plus was the pontoon. It was a very nice boat for it being a rental. Fishing on the lake was good, all varieties of fish. Campfires at night were a nice relaxing end to each day. Crosslake was a cute little town that was was only a few minutes away. The large grocery store was a plus as well as cute shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay on O'Brien Lake. The kids and dogs enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the clear water, and playing on the Lilly Pad right at the dock. Caught a couple nice fish on the lake. Great stay!

We had a wonderful week at your cabin. We had beautiful weather so we enjoyed taking the pontoon out on the lake, floating in the water, going for walks and sitting on the deck looking at the lake. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay was perfect. The lake is clean, quiet and had fish which made the anglers happy! House is clean and modern and comfortable with a large new deck over looking the shoreline. Was a great place and hope to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday stay on Lake O’Brien. Weather was amazing, and the pontoon boat availability was a huge bonus. Our son loved the paddleboard and we capped off each evening with a great campfire. Thank you Chris and Steve!

I can't say enough nice things about our experience renting this lovely home from Chris. I was an early adopter of VRBO, and have been renting places 3-4 times a year for the last 15 years, and this was one of the easiest and most relaxing experiences I've had yet. The house was PERFECTLY equipped with everything you'd need, the beds were super comfortable, the seating areas were great, the outdoor toys/ boat/paddleboard were FANTASTIC, the views stunning, the deck was amazing, the lake was sandy. In short, it was perfect. Also, a quick shout out to Crow Wing Rentals if you want an extra paddleboard or a kayak as we did. Super easy!

We absolutely loved our stay! The lake was so peaceful, and we were surprised by how quiet it was. The bunk bed room on the lower level was great for our three kids, and we loved having the windows open to hear the loons at night and early in the morning. The lake was calm, warm and great for fishing, and made even better by having access to the pontoon, lilly pad, and the paddle board. Chris also made everything so easy with his communication! Thanks for an amazing stay!

What a relaxing cabin. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and the pontoon rides. We saw lots of wildlife, used the grill and swam at the sandbar. We will definitely be back. Thank you Chris.

My family enjoyed our stay at Chris' cabin. It was just as described. We couldn't get over how close it was to the water. Literally steps away. We spent our days boating on the pontoon, relaxing on the deck, playing in the sandbar on the lake, and spending quality time as a family. The cabin itself has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. I really appreciated having spices, oil, paper towels, toilet paper, saran wrap, tinfoil, and plastic baggies. That normally doesn't come with a rental! It helped on the packing for sure.
My kids LOVED the lily pad and fishing off the dock. The only downfall to this cabin is there is only one bathroom. Chris lists this in the description but there were times when we could have used two for sure. Besides that, we absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure!

I wanted to turn around and return as soon as we left. This was a great trip! We are a family of four but there was plenty of room for more. The cabin is clean and comfortable. We stayed during the weekday and the neighbors were gone so it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Loved fishing off the private dock. The lily pad and paddle board were much enjoyed. The pontoon ran perfectly and was so nice to have available to use anytime we felt like going for a ride. There is a lakeside firepit we also enjoyed. The cabin has a beautiful lakeside deck with great rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the view. It was so cool to see and hear the loons on the lake. It was a plus to have the washer and dryer if needed. If it is available do not hesitate to book! We can not wait to be able to return.

We love this property! We booked last year and knew we would be interested in coming back. The neighbors are all very friendly and quiet. We were worried with the 4th that it would be a week of fireworks, but it was limited to the city’s celebration and the following night a house across the lake. Chris is always very good with communication. We had some issues with the well and no water, but we kept Chris informed and he did get someone to come look at it the day we were checking out. House was clean and loaded with all the things you need so you aren’t hauling everything! One thing to consider in the future would be a retractable baby gate on the deck for small kids and maybe something in the upstairs railing due to spacing. Our oldest is expecting and that would be a consideration next year. Don’t think twice, great place to stay!

Awesome vacation
Chris was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. The house was well equipped with everything you could need. Loved being steps from the lake. 2 year old granddaughter loved the sandy bottom of the lake and the pontoon!

Nice cabin
Everything about this cabin is as described. Great location, close proximity to town of Crosslake. The reason for 4 stars on neighborhood, is cabin is very close to neighbors with family and small children on the weekends, so not very private. Wasn't an issue for us, but may be for some. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

Great property
Really great property, and just so amazing to be able to cruise the lake in the pontoon. Only catch was on delivery of check-in instructions. Even though we'd reached out multiple times, we did not receive them until 15 minutes before check in, and had just completed an 8 hour drive to get there. In the end Chris did deliver the check in email and code, and everything was perfect.
