Overall the property was very clean and updated. It is located in a very nice neighborhood with many friendly dog owners. There are plenty of places to walk your dog and at Mountain dog cafe you can get a day pass for the dog park. You just need to register online. The main reason we selected this property because it was set up for a couple and dog friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen items need to cook. The smart TVs and Electric Fireplaces were welcoming for a rainy day. There are many places to visited within 15 minutes of each direction. Grandfather Mountain winery is nearby. There are a few things that could be improved. Most places I visited for a VRBO, the owners would have a welcome booklet of important information about the area and property. For example, what to do incase of an emergency, restaurants nearby, the code to use the tennis courts, clubhouse and pool information etc.. Other owners would also leave a few extra items, like cooking spray, bottle water, K-pods and shampoo. For the hot tub, stairs are necessary. We did not use it because there were none. The firepit was not there either. It was a disappointment but it was raining most of the time. The portable AC unit also did not have a window adapter. This VRBO does not have center AC, ceiling Fans or central heat, so I would not recommend going during peak summer. The electric fireplaces, portable AC unit and a rotating fan is what is available. The bed was very soft.

The Cozy Round Cottage was perfect for our Spring getaway! The fireplaces and hot tub were ready upon our arrival and everything was as described. Frank was easy to communicate with and the community was very well maintained. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

Excellent communication with host. Pet friendly and has great roads and paths to walk the dog. Used the hot tub a bunch and felt great after hiking all day to relax. Great stay and absolutely worth the spent.
