Situated in Idyllwild-Pine Cove, this attractive house for $175 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Ask about the URL to all of my listings. Read our amazing reviews! Riverside Rental Permit RVC - 393 YES FENCED • 5 guests max. 1 bdrm/1 loft • 1 queen • 1 dble mattress in loft • additional detached bedroom with queen & camp toilet - only for you, not others. This room can be added for an additional fee. If needed please inquire with Melissa • 1 bth tub/shower • 1/2 acre yard fully fenced & gated porch. Industrial rustic 1950’s reno is filled with Melissa’s art, her hand crafted barn doors and extra artistic touches • 3 decks and 1 deck is eight feet high in the trees with hammock swings and a hammock underneath. Emma and I are long time locals, are trained in interior design and high end hospitality, we have been hosting wonderful guests like you for years. Each home has a different charm and experience. If one is booked for the dates you are interested in then try checking another. ALL OF OUR HOMES: • Our homes have been fully designed and renovated or partially renovated • All are very loved and not a typical vacation rental (read the reviews!). • Are always professionally deep cleaned after every stay • Are all dog and child friendly (only the Palm Desert home is adults only, no pets) • Have fast internet • Have luxury lines and comfortable beds • Have AC and Heat (with extra portable fans and portable heaters). • Have wood burning fire places • Have outdoor string lights • Have propane grills • Have Smart TV’s • Have filtered water pitchers • Have a selection of games and books • Have a lock box for entry so no need to pick up keys or meet us in person (unless you prefer that) • Are close to town center (Two are just 1 block away, others around 1.5 miles away) • Are close to hiking/walking trails • Have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and off street parking • Have hammocks • Are stocked with everything you need and more (a detailed list arrives seven days prior to arrival) • Have a welcome gift and a personal welcome note upon arrival • Have an on your honor bar and on your honor firewood use • Have a journal to share your adventures and read up on others • Are continuously upgraded and looked after to ensure a wonderful stay THIS HOME HAS (in addition to the list above): • NEW detached bedroom available for an additional fee. • 1/2 acre fully fenced yard and a gated deck for doggo & kiddo play • A starry night light projector • Three decks and one is 8 feet high in the trees! • Hammock swings • Lots of extra artistic touches included two hand made barn doors. DOG INFORMATION (if you are bringing any): We don’t have a weight limit but trust that your dogs are well behaved and will be wonderful guests in our beautiful homes :-) WHAT WE PROVIDE: • Fenced yard or enclosed deck (some properties) • 16 foot tether in the yards (if not fenced) • dog bowls • dog treats • dog waste bags • pet wipes (to wipe down pups after outside walks/play - DO NOT FLUSH) . • PET FEES: First dog is FREE! Others are a flat fee of $20 per dog per stay. That goes to our cleaning crew for the extra time cleaning. Instructions to pay are on the check out sheet at the house.

Had a beautiful getaway here with my mom and her dog. Place is small and cozy and was perfect for what we needed. Backyard is large and front porch is great too. Well thought out for dogs and thoughtful kitchenware etc.

Rented another place from Melissa previously, a definite plus, the location is excellent especially if you want a very quiet, peaceful and relaxing visit to Idyllwild. You don't have to worry about traffic walking your dog anytime of the day in that part of town.
Our 20 month old puppy just loved zooming around in the backyard and we could put her out there without a worry. The WiFi worked just fine.

We we booked this home for a last minute anniversary getaway with our little dog. It was perfect! It is a lovely property, feels very removed and private but is so close to town. The home is beautiful and comfortable. We spent a lot to time out on the deck and in the very spacious back yard. Our little dog had the best time running around in the fully fenced yard. Overall just a wonderful peaceful place.

We had an unforgettable getaway in Idyllwild! This cabin was a hidden gem, perfect for our family of two adults and our furry companions. Melissa and Emma ensured the cozy cabin had everything we needed, and the amazing backyard was perfect for relaxing and letting our dogs play. The idyllic mountains and charming town of Idyllwild felt like a dream. The dog-friendly amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and this property. It’s a beautiful cabin, tucked in the woods with a huge fenced in yard. A quick 3 min drive to town and 15 min to Lake Hemet. The owners communicated quickly and made the process very easy. Very accommodating and had everything needed in the cabin. We will definitely be back! Thank you

The kids and our dog LOVED this yard. In fact, while we were there they never bothered coming inside. Me and husband enjoyed the patio and the BEAUTIFUL spring weather and the sounds of our kids happily playing and laughing and it was everything we needed.

We looked at all the pictures and watched the video in the listing. While these were helpful, the backyard was ever better than we expected. The fresh snow, coupled with the incline of the backyard, provided great sledding for the family. Our dog loved chasing us down the hill as well. Great backyard for a dog too. Plenty of room for it to run around. We would definitely come back.

If you are looking for some great outdoor living, this is it. Melissa and Emma's place boasts a HUGE fenced in yard (perfect for dogs) and a very nicely sized deck with a fire pit. The cabin itself had everything that we needed for cooking basics and the bed was extremely comfortable. This was my husband's favorite place to stay thus far during the times that we have been to Idyllwild.

This was our second visit and was perfect like our first visit. Our furbaby loved the beyond pet friendly huge yard. We also had the best ice cream in town. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway. Melissa and Emma are great to work with and take care of your every need. We will be back.

Had a great time enjoying the crisp mountain air and a nice fire in the evenings. Dogs loved the spacious back yard and definitely took advantage of it by running laps and chasing squirrels. Highly recommended for a cozy mountain getaway.

For anyone living in Southern California or traveling here, where your priority is a lovely and relaxing home that is also SUPER safe for your pet, I would very much recommend the Little House. There are SO many squirrels to sniff out in the back yard; thankfully, Vivi only likes to chase critters (phew) and not capture them.

The Little House is beautiful. You have the comfort of home, with the house fully stocked with anything you would have in your own fully functional home; you just stock the refrigerator and freezer with anything you want to have. I only wish I'd taken my chocolate chip cookie and baking preferences of ingredients, so I could bake. But, there are flour and baking ingredients there already. I brewed fresh cinnamon tea just to feel that extra comfort of home.

If you prefer to socialize, even though you are in a quiet national forest, the village of Idyllwild is approximately 2 miles away. It's a small, but busy tourist village with many restaurants (even high end) and so many shops. The small village grocery store is well stocked and even has a fresh meat department to pick up items to BBQ.

So cute and nicely decorated. A perfect place for a week or weekend getaway with your spouse and 4-legged friend. Very large fenced property, spacious decks both front & back and very comfortable bed. The home had everything you need and Melissa obviously loves dogs! We will come back again!

We loved Little house
The house and property were everything we were hoping for. We stargazed at night and our dog loved chasing her ball in the huge backyard. The look-out platform was a great place to sip our morning coffee with gorgeous views of the mountains. The property was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

I was amazed at how clean this cabin is. Very cute and great decorating. Lovely wood decks to enjoy. We also had our Siberian Husky with us. He loved the yard. I highly recommend this Cabin for two adults and one well behaved big dog. There is a loft that would be nice for children.
If you have a big dog bring your dog bowls the ones there are for small dog. He was picky (Husky’s!) and would not eat from them so I had to fashion a bowl from foil until we went to the store. It has a very well equipped kitchen. Every thing you need is all the rooms. Will definitely return to this cabin. The owner is wonderful.
