Odin, Norse god of wind, surveyed everything in his realm from his throne - Lidskjalf. At Lidskjalf at Annaberg, you will survey the untouched beauty of St. John's north shore as it was hundreds of years ago when the first seafaring gods came upon it.
Walk to three National Park beaches from this wonderful island home. Francis Bay beach is five minutes away on foot, Little Maho beach a more invigorating fifteen minute hike, and Leinster Bay beach an easy ten minute stroll along the water. Some of the best snorkeling can be found off Leinster point and Waterlemon Cay, so bring your mask and fins!
Three queen bedrooms and four bathrooms with two outdoor showers complement the huge great room/kitchen, which boasts a wall of picture perfect views. The bedrooms are all very private, with each having its own flat panel tv, A/C, sea view, and sitting area just outside a sliding glass door.
Pretend you are Christopher Columbus looking at the untouched National Park bays and hillsides or watch your favorite channel on satellite TV and check email and Facebook with WiFi.
Either way, be prepared to experience the true St. John--its stunning beauty and incomparable beaches!

My family of 4, with 2 teens, stayed had an incredible week on St John. The villa was fantastic, most specifically the deck with breathtaking views, the well appointed villa, and truly the perfect location; walk to Francis Bay, hike to Watermelon Cay, only minutes from North Shore Beaches, and close enough to Coral Bay and Salt Pond. The first evening after check in, we walked to Francis Bay and were swimming with turtles within minutes prior to an epic sunset. The property managers, Luciah and her husband, were amazingly helpful, responsive, and just lovely people. Meeting them added to our enjoyment of the week. Ask them anything! I wish I had asked a few more because the villa is so well equipped with cooking staples, beach and snorkeling gear that we could have packed a little lighter had we known. The listing could be updated to mention some of these amenities?Some things about the place could use a little updating and paint refresh. But as is, it's the perfect place at the right price point.One major thing of note, two of the bedrooms are en suite rooms detached from the main 1 bedroom house. One of these rooms turned out to be unusable for us as it was down under a deck and felt too dark and remote (an isolated feeling, which could be great for certain groups especially couples!!) for my teen son. He opted to sleep on the couch for the week instead. So, that was a slight bummer but did not detract from our incredible week on the island. We will return. Thank you

We were here five nights and I have offer a mixed-to-positive review. The location is phenomenal, just a 5-min walk to Francis Bay beach and yet another beautiful beach and bay another 20min away. The views from the deck are incredibly beautiful. A couple of cons: the house is not well sealed -- mosquitos keep coming in, no matter how many you kill (I wore bug spray at night to be able to sleep). There is construction next door and while the sound didn't bother us that much, you definitely are likely to hear guys yelling back and forth in the morning. Again, not a big deal. What I did object to was the gardeners running deafening leaf blowers at 9:30am while we had breakfast on the deck..in my opinion, really bad judgement to have them on property when it is occupied.We strongly recommend the owners note on the description that there is ongoing construction next door, which will produce minor noise and some yelling. Also, that this is an older home which, while well maintained (wifi was great; kitchen amenities are terrific), the bugs and tree frogs coming into room on lower level make it feel more like an eco-lodge than a high-end home. We had a 6hr power outage one night but this place has many flashlights.That said, it was overall a very enjoyable stay and I couldn't imagine a better location on the north shore. You're also a short jeep ride from other locales like Cinnamon Bay beach (we highly recommend the Rain Tree Cafe) and Maho Bay.
