About this villa rental
Located in La Romana, this lovely villa for $1,500 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The house is located within Casa de Campo Resort, in a quiet area and perfectly situated 5 minute drive to the beach, hotel and golf courses golf, 10 minutes to Altos the Chavon and 12-15 minutes to the marina. The house includes a complete VIP package. One Butler, one excellent cook and daily maid services. You will also get: Airport transportation (La Romana Airport only), golf cart, mini van, unlimited high speed wireless internet. (food and beverage are not included) We will arrange to purchase your favorite groceries and drinks before you arrive and provide babysitting services at the house. The house is 15 years old and is in perfect conditions. We also do all your laundry services at the house. The house has two masters rooms, two open showers, and perfectly designed for a two family vacations. The house has two dining rooms, one outside perfect to enjoy your meal al fresco, and beautiful gazebo perfect for reading and massages. We have children table games, pool floats, pool towels, BBQ grill, Chinese box, free unlimited high speed wireless Internet access around the house. The house has 6 LED TV sets, one in each room and one in the family room, all 5 bedrooms have A/C units and ceiling fans. We just added a huge air conditioned family room with a 60' TV on the second floor, it has 2 sofa beds to accommodate more people There is Bluetooth karaoke speaker so you can listen to your favorite tunes around the house. You will have a Butler that will pick up at La Romana Airport and take care of your luggage, once in the house he will fix your favorite drink and bring your snack at the pool or your room. He will do the groceries for you as well as any other service around the resort or outside the resort. He will be there just to serve you. The cook is unbelievable, he makes great home made meals as well as gourmet dishes, you send us the list of the groceries that you need and there will be there for you at your arrival for your convenience. Great meals are guarantee !! Your laundry will be made as your request as well as any ironing of your clothing. Tips for the cook and butler are optional but not mandatory if you think the service did not meet your expectations. You will have a mini van (standard transmission) and a golf cart to help you move around the resort for Free, you need to pay for refueling; however you will get a half full tank when you get there. Casa de campo has been ranked among the best golf resorts in the world, there are 4 Pete Dye courses (1 private). All courses have great caddies available to help you play better around the course, especially to read the difficult and undulated greens of the Pete Dye's master piece, Teeth of the Dog. The house is 5 minutes away from any of the golf courses and 5 minutes away from the beach If you have infants, we have a crib a play-yard and a high chair for your convenience

The property is stunning and kept up. The staff were also amazing. Oscar runs point and is like the uncle you wish you had. Oscar and Edgar were and unbelievable team and there for all our needs. The full time chef and his assistant never disappointed with a 5 star spread every time! The house had a small manual transmission minibus and two golf carts to use around the property and the host helped us rent more. Casa de campo itself is a utopia.

I booked this house for my sister’s bachelorette and it did not disappoint! The house was first of all gorgeous with tons of space. The house crew were outstanding as well. The property manager, Oscar, is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and treated us like family. We also had plenty of meals at the villa cooked by the in-house chef and everything was phenomenal. Would definitely book this villa again!!

Fernando and his wife were also very attentive with their responses and were super helpful with giving recommendations in Casa de Campo or making sure we’re settled in with no issues. My husband and I just spent 6 days at Villa Vivero with our daughter and two granddaughters, ages 11 and 15. We were pleased with the whole experience. The staff were outstanding and the food was the best! The property is so conducive to having family together with plenty of room. The girls spent hours in the pool when not snorkling at Minitas Beach. We look forward to a return visit.

Return trippers to Casa de Campo, this was the first time at the property. Fernando, the owner, was great; super responsive and knowledgeable. Oscar, the butler, was delightful and the housekeeper and cook were lovely too.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. There were four couples and it was perfect. Property layout is great. The host was very responsive and wonderful. Chef and house staff were fabulous. House was situated in a good location to all activities. Special thanks to chef, Oscar and Alicia.

Fernando was the best VRBO communicator I have ever dealt with. He was quick to respond and so attentive when our flight was cancelled and we had to rearrange travel plans. The staff at house was wonderful too. Everyone does whatever it takes for you to be spoiled and enjoy yourself. The outdoor space is just as beautiful in person as the pictures. With 4 teenage kids it's usually hard to please everyone, but we all were so happy here. The food was amazing. We were there at the busiest time of year so it was great to not have to deal with crowded restaurants and fighting for a reservation. I highly recommend!

There were some bumps along the way—folks had confused which day we were supposed to arrive and at least one of the two golf carts is in dire need of replacement— but generally we loved being at Vivero and at casa de campo. Fernando the owner was a breeze to communicate with! Chef K and Oscar were incredible! This 5 star experience is something we will never forget. I suggest trusting the chef, our meals were out of this world. They assisted us with getting a second golf cart and Oscar makes amazing Pina Coladas while we were poolside! 12/10, can’t wait to book our trip back.

Amazing trip. We like to try new villas at CDC but this one was so good we had to stay there again and it was the right decision. The owner is a great guy who responds promptly to all communications, the house is great and the staff is truly outstanding. Excellent stay!
We stayed here with a bunch of girlfriends and the house was absolutely perfect. The staff was very friendly and attentive and willing to help with whatever we needed. Definitely recommend. The only thing to be aware of is due to the security of the resort, if you plan any external tours or transportation, make sure to tell Fernando beforehand so he can clear them for entry otherwise it takes a little while.

Fabulous house with exceptional staff!
We took our 2 sons and families to celebrate our upcoming 50 th wedding anniversary. The pictures are accurate but don’t give you the feel of how spacious and gorgeous the property is. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, more accommodating, and the food was fabulous! Do not overpack….your clothes are laundered everyday. There are four separate seating areas 2 inside and 2 outside. The pool was wonderful and cleaned everyday. The property owner was so responsive with my many questions. My sons picked the resort because of the golf. Teeth of the Dog and the Dye Fire course rival Pebble Beach and did not disappoint!

What an amazing escape! This property is beautifully maintained and has everything you could want and more - glass doors always open to the lovely outdoor space, a nice pool, two outdoor showers, a golf cart and van that come with the rental.

They assisted us with massages, boat rentals, groceries, laundry etc. We will definitely be back. Tip: There are a lot of mosquitoes in DR so bring bug spray and re-apply throughout the day. In addition, bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise, the AC in the bedroom was a little noisy.

Need improvement / Registration process is complicated
Pros: large house with amazing staff, they are really the ones that make this stay unforgettable. Oscar, Walden and Alicia are amazing, they go above and beyond to make you comfortable.
The chef, Walden, is amazing, he cooked delicious meals and had an amazing attitude.

Cons:
- Max capacity is 14 people, as per the advertising and listing, however, reality is that over 10 people, there is a charge per day per person and check in for the same house is not available, the owner actually wanted to separate our family due to the size of party, we were 11.
- Check in: We were told by the owner we needed to say we are “guests”, we couldn’t mention “renting property”, we then learned from the Casa de Campo management that there is a fee for renting the property, we paid almost 7K for this property, not sure what is happening with their “fee”, not my business either, but you expect to use the property as “vacation rental” with all rules/regulations, instead of lying about it - by the way - when we learned this, it was too late to cancel
- Since the property is only for 10 people, no one else can enter the property, like massage therapist, guests, etc. the registration process is very bureaucratic. You can only have services from people that have permanent card access to Casa de Campo, because they don’t go to the registration process.
- Bathrooms’ showers upstairs didn’t work and one of the master bedroom’ bed fell apart, they need renovations, the house needs renovations overall, and the biggest liability is the fridge, it does not work and it shocks you when you touch it, it is very dangerous.
- There is only 1 golf cart and 1 very old and manual minivan, should consider upgrading these as well.

1. The house and decorating are beautiful and up to date. You can tell that the owner stays here, and this is not just a house he only has for business purposes.
2. The staff is great. Kendy the cook is very professional, cooks restaurant quality food, and keeps track of all of your request. Oscar is very attentive and went out of his way to make sure we always had what we needed and would make several trips with us back and forth to the beach or marina.
3. The showers always had hot water, we regularly had all 4 showers working all at the same time, and no one complained about not having hot water. Same goes for the air conditioners in each bedroom.
4. The location is central, via golf cart, one way 6 mins to the beach and 12 mins to the marina.
Vivero 51 Cons
1. They have 1 minivan with a manual transmission and 1 golf cart (4 persons). In my group no one can drive manual so we would only had the 1 golf cart to move us around, especially after the staff left the house after 6pm. Daytime, Oscar would drive us around. If you have a large group my suggestion would be to rent an additional 6 person golf cart.
2. They only have 1 set of house and pool towels. So if you use your towels during the day, when you wake up there are no clean and dry towels until the staff washes the old ones and dry them. They should have a set A and set B of towels that they can rotate from.
