Modeled after the traditional Swiss Ski Chalet Alpine Haus hopes to capture the imagination of her guests as they come to experience the excitement which is Philipsburg. After over two years of renovations Alpine Haus is finally complete. She has come a long way as well, completely transformed from the shell she started out as into the cozy Loft she is now. The Photos show some of the painstaking labor which occured to bring Alpine Haus to where she is today. The JØTUL wood burning stove will take the chill off the room as you settle in to your new temporary home. With limited dining options in Philipsburg it's nice to know that you have at your fingertips a very well appointed Kitchen complete with AGA six burner gas range and four ovens. We spent the weekend hanging with family in town and his place was the perfect central location for doing so. It was very spacious for our family, and the kitchen was top-notch too. We loved our stay here!

We completely enjoyed our stay at Alpine Haus. The town Philipsburg is a real hidden gem with lots to do and being less than 100 steps from a brewery that makes fantastic beer was an extra bonus! The Alpine Haus had everything and more you needed for a comfortable stay and was surprisingly quiet even though it was located on Main Street.

I really like this place. It's funky, but well thought out. Once you get used to the nuances/idiosyncrasies it's very comfortable. The natural light and big windows facing south make for a very relaxing atmosphere in the winter time.

The Alpine Haus is pure "eclectic funk" and I mean that in the best sense. It takes a little bit to get used to regulating the temperature in the winter, but after the second day it was easy. Some unfortunate circumstances led to the place not being cleaned between guests. However, Josh made good on fixing the issue. I'm looking forward to another visit later this winter.

This is a great place to stay especially if you are doing outdoor activities. It is easy to bring skiis and gear in and out. It is also friendly for pets.

Wonderful! Took us a while to heat up the Japanese tub, but that was all part of the fun. We discussed how an on demand hot water heater could have improved fill time but in the end, we had a lot of fun filling it with boiling water from the stove while waiting for the hot water heater to reheat. We were bucket brigading from the stove! What a hoot! Great memories!

It was dirty, no A/c, too hot, toilet ran continuously, dishes were dirty. Had reservation for two nights and left after one night.
