My wife and I recently stayed at this beautiful lakefront property for a month as a place for her to recover from an extended hospital stay. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning views of the lake and the peaceful serenity of the surroundings. The property itself is charming and well-maintained, with plenty of space for us to spread out and relax.
The host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They checked in with us within the first day to make sure everything was okay and even provided us with a walker for my wife. They were always available to answer our questions.
One of the highlights of our stay was spending time on the dock, feeding the ducks and waving to boaters as they passed by. It was a delightful way to connect with nature and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, including a lovely set of high-quality knives and measuring cups that we donated for future guests to use and enjoy. We hope they find them as handy for chopping veggies and measuring ingredients as we did! Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this lakefront property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The combination of beautiful scenery, comfortable accommodations, and a warm and welcoming host made for an unforgettable experience.

Owner was very responsive when needed. The house had everything, and more, that my family needed during in our stay. The kids really enjoyed the playroom and water toys. So many water toys! We didn’t want to leave! Definitely recommend (as long as you don’t mind bugs/spiders lol) and we will definitely be back!!

My stay felt like borrowing a friend's lake house. It was casual, comfortable, relaxing, and in a beautiful location! If you love nature, this is the perfect place to rent. I saw deer, bunnies, and lots of birds near the house and even a black bear a few miles away! The birding was great...I saw Cedar Waxwings, Stellar's Jays, Towhees, Juncos, and many more. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. The beds and living room furniture are very comfortable. The deck has plenty of furniture for enjoying the lake views. The owners were great...good communication and very responsive to my questions. A truly enjoyable stay!

The house was nice however we were much further away from town than we expected. The lake is small but very peaceful.
The host has some unreasonable expectations of her guest. For instance, guests are expected to water the outside plants regularly during the stay. What was disappointing was we did this however we were accused of neglecting them. Overall we felt this should be the homeowner’s responsibility given this is an extremely short-term rental.
I would probably not rent this again as it is too far away from Snohomish or Lake Stevens.

My wife and 6yo daughter enjoyed our summer getaway at this lake house. Highlights were kayaking, fishing, swimming. My 6yo enjoyed the shallow water on the bank and we all found the house to be comfortable. We would happily return for another trip.

The property is perfect for a quick getaway from the Seattle area. The property has a wonderful dock and a shallow sandy entrance to the water to make paddle boarding and kayaking really easy.
Communication with the owner was fabulous, she was very attentive.
We will return for sure.

We had a great weekend getaway for my sons 13th birthday. We wanted a place that we could spend time as a family and he could fish. This was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. It is a quiet neighborhood with a good location on the lake. We enjoyed floating, boating, and watching people pass by.
Ana is a very warm and welcoming hostess with many complimentary items like coffee pods and toiletries. The house stayed nice and cool even during the heat of summer. There were a few things we needed to clean upon arrival that had been overlooked and the house is in need of some updates but we enjoyed the rental and Ana’s hospitality.

This waterfront cabin is so cute and the amenities are amazing. The dock, the lake, the toys my kids lived in the water the entire weekend. They kayaked and paddle boarded and swam. The pool table in the garage provided a ton of night time entertainment as we played teams after a long day in the sun and water. There are just so many little things that the owners provide that you don't get with other rentals. It was very refreshing and we will definitely be booking again! My kids asked me to stay a whole month!! :) Thank you Ana for your amazing property! We cannot wait to come back!

The location on the lake is so perfect, it narrows so boats have to slow down in that area so it’s nice and peaceful. I enjoyed being able to drop my kayak directly into the lake each morning and paddle around. There was a resident eagle nearby and plenty of other birds to watch. Close to a well-maintained trail to the little park, and close enough to the local store to grab a few extras we forgot to pack. Overall, it was a great girls weekend away!

overall the place was good for what we needed although the cleanliness was poor. the floors were not even swept and there was dust on surfaces. the only other piece of feedback is the beds could use an upgrade. again the area, view and quaint place was nice but would love to see some updated beds and a new housekeeper.

We had so much fun here. There are a lot of bugs which I’m used to from growing up on a lake, so beware. The rest of the property is great! Great swimming area for kids. There is limited parking out front, so plan ahead for that!

Ana's home was a welcome change of scenery after 5 straight months of social distancing at home. We loved being right on the water all day and relaxing in the cozy cottage at night. Just a short drive from Seattle but far away enough that we truly enjoyed the refreshing escape to the lake. Can't wait to come back!

A lovely beach cottage by the lake with many amenities. The owners were very easy to work with and very responsive when we had a minor issue come up. It’s perfect for a family getaway and we would stay again!

Pros: right on the lake, good lake access and views. Plenty of indoor and outdoor games. We spent most of our time outside, good weather.Negatives: not cleaned up to standard for COVID times. The 2nd half bath was in the garage and both bathrooms smelled. There was no new sponge at kitchen sink, old sponge and no dish towels. Used the disinfecting wipes provided. Broken fishing pole in kitchen and several poles in disarray on deck with tackle box and worm container.

Well set up to enjoy the lake. Lots of water toys, fun game room in the garage, kitchen had lots of spices, plenty of bedding, towels, etc. Felt like the owners wanted to make sure you had everything you needed to enjoy...and we did! We'll likely be back for summer fun.

Our family had a great time, Our stay was priceless and what a paradise. Everything we could of imagine happened, including taking the Rowe boat and catching a rainbow trout. The place had everything we needed, and the place was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and with extra linen. The Nielsen ' s even provided extra, in their first aid kid (Benedryl, Ibuprofen and much more. I did have a slight headache and was very nice that I did not have to go to the store. To make the story short. My headache went away within 10 minutes and I was able to enjoy my family having a great time and enjoy the scenery over an open fire.
We can't wait to come back next summer.

Beautiful setting & the lake was great fun for the grand children! Unfortunately that is the extent of my positive comments! The house was not ready for us when we arrived & the owners were there cleaning, or getting things ready long past the 4 PM check in time! Once we were able to actually move in, we discovered not a quaint little lake place, but rather an old musty, dirty, lake place in disrepair! I spent the first full day cleaning the place and most of the next day! The refrigerator & cupboards were full of old food that was opened & we had no idea how long it had been there, or who had handled it, so we threw it away! There was pet hair everywhere & I don't think the furniture had ever been moved, or cleaned under, or behind! Piles of dirt, old food, pet throw-up & toys were found under the sofa, end table & beds. I did contact the owners & they were responsive, apologized & said they fired their cleaning crew. They also purchased several items that were needed and dropped them off, but all in all, our first impression stuck with us during our stay! A few specific examples: a toilet sitting outside, along the side of the house. A filthy power boat tied to the dock, not usable, but in the way! Walls patched in the house, but not painted. Broken down refrigerator with shelves missing and no handle. Uncomfortable beds. My husband played handy man and installed curtains in both bedrooms, cleaned & lubricated sliding door tracks & window tracks, replaced a rotted board in one of the outside benches & cleaned up the outdoor equipment, like the kayaks, before we were able to use them. Even though we paid for the place for a month, we ended up leaving 6 days before our check out date. Originally when I contacted the owner about the issues, she said that she would be giving us a partial refund due to the problems we encountered, however, we have seen nothing yet! This is the first property we have rented through VRBO and needless to say were very disappointed! Does VRBO have standards that have to be met before accepting a rental for their site? I would only give the house a one star rating, but because of the location & lake amenities, I added one more star! Finally, I contacted the owner via a text & e-mail letting her know that we were leaving early & specifically why, with suggestions of what needed to be done to the property before renting it again. Unfortunately, I wasn't even given the courtesy of a response. I can not recommend this property!

We have a great weekend at this cottage on Lake Roesiger. The beds (including sofa bed) were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to find things in. We had one small issue and the owners were VERY responsive to help us immediately. Our kids loved the kayaks and paddle boats. I would strongly recommend having a GPS if arriving at the cottage after dark!

This lake front property was like a little slice of heaven at the dead end of the street. We had family come in from California for our son's graduation. Although it rained for the whole duration of our stay, they (we) all really enjoyed our / themselves. The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of games for keeping the children busy. The beds were really comfy. I tend to have difficulty sleeping when I’m not in my own bed. But not here!! There was also plenty of fishing gear on hand . Which we were able to catch over 25 Blue Guil and Crappy fish right off the dock. We weren't able to utilize the kayaks or boats as a personal preference due to the weather conditions. The place was clean and welcoming upon our arrival and neighbors were friendly. We also didn't have any problems connecting to the Wifi.
The owner made everything extremely easy from the beginning. From setting reservations to our departure. Which Ana was generous enough to allow us to check out later than 11am because she didn't have anyone scheduled to check in later that day. So we got 5 extra hours.
This is definitely a do-over vacation spot. As a matter of fact we're going to put in for our next stay really soon. This lake house comes highly recommended if you just want time away from the hustle, bustle and hassle of your everyday life. If you’re looking for a nice spot to get away on a romantic weekend with your significant other. Or if you’re just in need of a vacation, or a girls getaway….you’ll find it refreshing, relaxing and definitely worth your money.

Great property, view and dock activities, nice deck, comfortable beds; stayed 17 days - kitchen/bath pretty well stocked, had to wipe out a couple drawers before using. Children/grandkids (live in area) thoroughly enjoyed this - we all want to come back soon. Hot water still a problem.

We recently stayed at the cabin over the weekend of the 11th. The Lake house is so beautiful and extremely clean. The beds where comfortable and we felt very at home, it is in great condition and very well maintained. We enjoyed the paddle boats along with the kayaks, it was wonderful too be outside. We would most definitely recommend this property! In fact, we can't wait too book it again!

When we got to the cabin, nobody was there to open the door, we had no way of getting a key. We waited about 15 minutes outside and when the lady came, the place was dirty; so we had to go out for dinner while the lady was cleaning the house (when I had to go to the trouble to prepare dinner in advance so that we only needed to reheat it). Then, the day we were leaving, the lady didn't come to check the property so that we could receive our damage and pet deposit back. Instead, we waited about two weeks to receive a check in the mail. The bathroom feels damp and old, the toilet is sinking on one side into the ground.
Now, the good stuff. Great view and big enough for a family of four. Pet friendly. Close enough to Monroe, in case you forgot something. Three TVs, one in each room and one in the living room. Plenty of board games to choose from in good condition. We liked the fire pit.

Yes this was a very nice place for our Thanksgiving get away. We very much enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue with the hot water, but it didn't bother us too much. We were at least able to wash dishes when needed. My mom, however was upset when she couldn't take her nightly bath in the nice deep tub. Beds were comfy & plenty of blankets. We didn't have enough kitchen towels, but my daughter brought some. The owners were very nice and apologized for the hot water problem and said they were going to replace the water heater. We would rent this Cottage again, possibly soon. My daughter lives 17 minutes from the Lake.
