About this house rental
Situated in Harwich, this attractive house for $305 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. A perfect vacation home for large or extended family gatherings. The house is located in Harwich and within a 1.5 miles drive of the beautiful white sandy Red River Beach on the Nantucket sound. The house consists of two sections. The newer section of the home was built in the early 1980’s and offers a living room, one bedroom on first floor, 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and a loft style bedroom, 2 full baths, warm kitchen with slider to a backyard patio. The spacious sunroom inviting as one passes through, a different moment in time awaits on the other side. The antique section of the home was built around 1800 and offers a remarkable space for gathering and two additional rooms and a half bath. A large private back yard for the summer fun and family barbeques. We also have an outdoor shower and the fire pit for those who like outdoor fun and the tasty S'more. The 22 mile Cape Cod Rail Bike Trail is not from the house.

Beds were comfortable and the house is just short bike ride to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home and location.
As a family we couldn’t have chosen a better location or home. The fenced in yard was a god send. Sunny was very responsive to our needs, and came to our rescue when a door accidentally got locked. This was our first vacation on the Cape and we will be returning.

Great house and yard
First of all Sunny Mak was great to work with. He was very responsive to any questions we had. The house provides for three separate zones that allows for a nice level of privacy. The patio and yard constitute a welcoming out door space (as does the bunny who arrives each day at cocktail hour!). The kitchen is well-equipped. The location is central to the entire Cape. We will be back.

Harwich Cottage
The home was a nice combination of old charm and modern conveniences. It was plenty big enough for three generations of our family.
The fenced in yard was a big plus for the four-legged member of our family. Just a short drive to the beach. The owner was very good about responding to questions and checking in to see if we needed anything. We had a great week and would recommend this vacation rental.

Perfect location to all of the Cape’s must seas!
Beautiful, charming home, set in Harwich close to bike trail, dog park and beaches. Great fenced-in back yard with a fire pit. Outdoor shower, two living rooms, great kitchen with plenty of cooking tools. We enjoyed staying in this beautiful jem! Looking forward to booking again next year.

Great family vacation at the Cape
Our entire family loved every aspect of our summer vacation on the Cape. However, I’m going to focus on our vacation property rental for this review. Our vacation rental was clean, had plenty of space, and was in a convenient location. A very special bonus was the fenced in backyard, which was great for our dog and our grandchildren. Also, our host was very helpful. He answered the few questions we had before and during our stay quickly. We’d definitely recommend this property to future Cape vacationers. Many thanks to our host!

Perfect for our needs
We need a place to fit everyone comfortably, be close to the other place rented by extended family, and be reasonably priced. This house met that criteria.
Sunny was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the process.
It was a bonus that every bedroom hahks AC.

A perfect place for a family reunion
This home was great for our family reunion. We enjoyed the outside campfire several times! The beaches are only a couple of miles away and the house was nice and clean when we got there... no surprises! Sunny is extremely timely if you text a question about something, he gets right back to you. The fenced in backyard was great for the kids, especially on the nights we decided to grill in. “Check in” was a breeze! It was great to be able to go right to the house instead of having to go through a 3rd party for the keys.
By the end of the 2nd day everyone was asking if we could do this again next year with the same house!

Great for mixed group and pets
Great place, location, and house works well if you have mixed group or more than 1 family staying. Sunny was great with communication and being in contact if we had any questions or concerns. The only thing I’d say is if you have 1 big family group it is hard to have all in same living room/TV room. It worked for us though because we had my family (wife and the little one -19 months) and brothers family (two tween girls) so separation for TV watching /hanging out was good when needed. Great fenced in backyard for pets!

Adams' Long Road Home Stay
This property is excellent value. Five Star in fact. Relax on a patio in fenced-in back yard, wifi very good, cable TV has all the stations including Netflix. Best of all is the excellent communication with Sunny who made sure we knew that if any concern cropped up, he would look after it.. House is ideal for a family and furnishings are of high quality. Located between a conservation area and Red River Beach for walks.

Great home and location!
We had a number of family members in and out over the course of the week, and everyone really enjoyed the amount of space and privacy the house provides. The outdoor space is conveniently available through sliders off the kitchen, which makes it very easy to integrate into the entertainment workflow. BBQ is right there, easy peasy!
Couple of minor items: the wifi does not reach the living room, where we wanted to use Chromecast (the game room, with good wifi, is not configured for comfortable TV viewing). Also, some areas were uncleaned -- the loft had a lot of dust bunnies, plus someone else's laundry and a Hershey bar under the dresser! And, the ceiling fan in the sunroom is a tad noisy above low speed.
All in all, though, highly recommended!

Loved the house-perfect for our family
We had such a great experience! The owner was always available to answer questions and making sure our visit was perfect. The rooms are spacious and great for a large family. So close to the town center and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful park for our dog!!

The property was suitable for our group of 9 and two pets.
We had a great time in Cape Cod. This house is very close to shopping and lots of places to eat. The beaches are all close, some just a few miles others were within a 1/2 hour drive.
We loved the set up of the home plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend this property and would rent it again.
Very attentive homeowners, they kept in contact to make sure we were all good!

Very spacious house with big back yard. Had a fun time around the fire pit at night. The owner, Sunny, was always available for questions and was very accommodating. Great to have the AC, very quiet neighborhood, and close to Harwichport.

Great large family house!
Our family had a wonderful time and had plenty of room to spread out! We will not vacation without our dogs so finding a well maintained, pet-friendly house was terrific. We were very comfortable. For those times we stayed in for dinner, there was room to work in the kitchen. The house has 2.5 bathrooms and an outdoor shower which really helped when we were all returning from the beach at the same time. Sunny responded right away to any questions before and during the rental. It's obvious he wanted to make our stay a pleasant one!
The house is conveniently located near Harwichport and the town of Harwich, including a library, convenience store, and great breakfast place. It's near Red River beach and fairly near Long Pond and other ponds. The house is about a mile from the Rail Trail.

Great house, lot of room.
This home was perfect for our family vacation. We had 7 adults and 3 children.
Having 2 parts of the house, one on each end, basically gave us ample privacy between two families. Having 3 bathrooms and an additional outside shower was great! The Red River beach was only a short 5 minute drive away! Excellent location. Restaurants galore. My only reason for 4 stars is I feel we left the house cleaner than when we arrived. Nothing awful, but cobwebs in the upstairs bathroom, fingerprints on the slider door. Just didnt expect that.
Aside from that, excellent house, great response from host when needed .Highly Recommend.

Spacious home in convenient location
We had a very positive experience. The home is spacious, has a nice yard, and is not far from town and area beaches. A couple of the rooms don't have AC as yet, but we shared that feedback with the owner, and he seems interested and anxious to make his guests happy. We had a couple of special requests during our stay, and the owner was both responsive and agreeable. In addition, this home is pet friendly, and our dog was also comfortable during our stay.

Great location
The house is in a perfect location . It is close to Main Street and the beaches. Quiet neighborhood. Fire pit was perfect for making s'mores and chatting with family. House was the perfect size and had everything needed in the kitchen. However, it did get hot and stuffy in the house and dones need a lot of cosmetic work done inside but overall our stay was great!

A wonderful vacation on the Cape
Our family enjoyed this centrally located house. Clean and nicely furnished. Many rooms to relax in and older part of the house adds true character. Homeowner was very responsive. A short ride to local beaches and downtown Chatham.
