Located in Lummi Island, this attractive house for $208 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Sweeping Mt. Baker and sunrise views abound in this spacious, comfortable home on a double lot with your own private beach. Deck dining that leads to a large, private yard. You have everything you need -- a grill, table and chairs, and a hammock. The yard is great for kids. Step down the stairs, where you will find a hidden, rocky beach with tide pools, accessible at both low and high tides. The beach is clean and fresh, and is a wonderful place to watch the ferry and take in the sky and mountains. Lummi is for relaxing! Three bedrooms have ample space for your family, extended family, or friends. The bathroom has a steam room to help you unwind. The home offers an open kitchen, large dining table, and a comfy living room with a wall of windows that look onto the water. The large-screen TV is Chromecast-ready. If you need to venture out, you will be within walking distance to the library, the Beach Store Cafe, the playground, and the Islander Store. The house is all yours and our on-island manager is available via text and phone for any of your needs!

We loved staying at the Seal House on Lummi Island. The house was exactly as described. We enjoyed the large yard and especially the beach excess during low tide. My son developed a slide obsession over finding crabs. :) Wildlife was to discover from sunrise to sunset. The neighborhood is super quiet and people are extremely friendly on the island. We do not know if that applies to summer weekends as we stayed from Monday to Friday. We would book this property again with no hesitation.

This was the perfect retreat home on the water. Quiet and peaceful with super spacious interior. Unexpected extras like large gas grill and steam/shower room made our stay extra special. The family heritage and feel of the place made our stay homey and comfortable. One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had.

We loved our time on Lummi Island in The Seal Beach House. We saw a lot of wildlife including bald eagles, seals, and deer. The private beach access was amazing— we spent a lot of time on the beach looking at shells, agate, and crabs. The home had what we needed and was very charming. I loved the family history! Only downside was the cleanliness of the home, but we made do. Thank you!

Staying at this property was great, it was clean, great instructions for the stay and the home was beautiful. Stacy couldn't have been more helpful when we needed to extend our trip. All was as promised and definitely I will rent again when we need to return to Lummi .

The house was as advertised, greatviews, large gathering space, well equipped kitchen. Parking was tight. Beach access was precarious but we had typical PNW weather so that didn't affect us much. Very good experience overall.

This great location is walking distance from the school playground, the store, the restaurant, and the public beach! They also have a private beach steps from their house. Wow!
Great and comfortable three bedrooms, and our kids loved the toys they have in their living room. The outdoor playhouse is a huge plus. Definitely recommended for families!

We had a wonderful week long stay at this lovely property. The travel to the island was very easy and the local grocery store was convenient and much better stocked than we had anticipated. The property itself had everything we could need and lots of space for us, with 2 small kids and a granny. The house is very well setup for young children – they had a lovely corner of toys and books for young kids, a BIG yard with a little kids play house, furniture/layout that was relaxed and kid-friendly and a shower big enough for everyone to fit in at once! (The design of the house is great in that all the rooms are on one level, with the bedrooms at the back and communal space at the front of the house, allowing doors to be shut and thus some adults could sleep-in even when kiddos are awake at the crack of dawn!) The little beach was comfortable and quiet and provided lots of entertainment in the sun (sadly the sea was just too cold for much real swimming)! Cute island with friendly neighbours! Highly recommend!

Tranquility reimagined
Sincerely beautiful location. Wonderful amount of room for family to have space and a little one to tromp around. There were even toys and few breakable. The kitchen had everything you could want and we were able to cook every night while watching the sunset.

Private beach with the house was a treat with a seal at high tide and shell/ colorful rock hunting at low tide. Lovely landscaped large yard and deck. Wifi met our needs with all of us streaming and surfing online. House is very well stocked, so cooking was a breeze.

Lovely property on Lummi Island, with excellent views of the sun setting on Mt. Baker. The house is very much as described, and well stocked. Ample extra blankets and towels, but we didn't need them. Very cute kids play corner, with an impressive collection of kids books, and an equally strong and varied bookshelf for adults. We enjoyed 8 days here in August, but I can definitely see how this would be a lovely escape in winter, too. We took advantage of the BBQ and had many pleasant meals out on the deck.
Location is premium. It's a 10 minute walk down to the ferry, the general store, the nearby playground, and at least 2 public access beaches. Speaking of the ferry, our toddler happily monitored the ferry's crossing all day every day, since the house looks out directly on the ferry path.

We loved the view of the sound, the yard is so pleasant and has great access to the beach at low tide! It is so close to the ferry and had everything we needed for our annual moms and kids trip. We had two adults and three kids and the amount of space was perfect.

This was by far the best kitchen we've encountered in a short-term rental for real, honest-to-gosh cooking. And it accommodates more than one cook to boot! Several of us had to work for a few hours most days; we found the internet was fast and reliable, and the spaces organized so we could be separate from one another when on calls. We hope to come back. Truly a relaxing, enriching time.

My mom and I spent the mornings and evenings on our paddle boards just in front of the home when the tide was higher. There are lots of birds to see and we loved that. The deck was the perfect place for the rest of the family to hang out and get out of the sun. We appreciate that there was an umbrella and citronella candles available too. We also liked the side yard space to throw the frisbee or play cornhole. The landscaping is beautiful too - lots of wild flowers and pretty foliage to wander around and look at. The views from the home and the deck are spectacular! The colors of the sunset and sunrise are something I have never seen. The rooms are comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens available for all of us.
This was a "fill your cup" weekend for our family. Thank you to Stacy and their family for allowing us to stay in your room and providing a space for us to relax and reconnect with one another. I am certain we will be back to the Seal Beach House soon enough!
