The deck, living room and dining room have full water and mountain views.. this newly renovated apartment was designed to be cozy and comfortable and to meet your every need and to make you feel welcomed and at home. The private bedroom is roomy and comfortable, has a well appointed Queen bed, and a comfy overstuffed reading chair and a view of the water and the amazing sun sets out one side and historic downtown Coupeville out the other!! The living room has an American Leather Queen Sleeper Sofa that will comfortably sleep 2 peeps, and a Twin Futon that will nicely accommodate a child or small adult. Be aware, the rates are set for 2 people and there is an extra person charge for more than 2 people. The small kitchen is "light-duty" only - NO "heavy-duty" cooking or frying! It has everything you need to pull together a simple breakfast or lunch or a light dinner ... or just a few steps away are several exceptional restaurants, many featuring our world famous Penn Cove Mussels! Charming historic Coupeville - small enough to know you, but big enough to offer unique shops, shopkeepers and experiences!! Come and visit us... we promise to treat you right! This apartment had everything we needed for two nights on the water. Next door to great dining, close to the bookstore and when it wasn’t raining we had a lovely walk right on the beach. Would definitely stay again.

What a great place! Nice décor, comfortable bed and furniture, tiny but functional kitchen. The view is wonderful; we took many pictures. It's such fun to stay right in town - just walk down the stairs to shop and eat....and to buy a great bottle of wine from our hosts.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Vail’s View in Coupeville. It was a great location! The unit is not at the end of the building, but is still right over the water with amazing views. I loved waking up to the sound of waves in the morning. The owners are great and own the wine shop downstairs. We stopped in for a great glass of wine. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay. I loved waking up at sunrise and waking down the ward next door to see the seabirds scavenging at low tide. Also easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Lovely area. We’ll be back!

There's not enough good things I can say about Patsy and Larry and their rental in Coupeville. The apartment was cute and had everything we needed, the view was unbeatable, and their wine shop downstairs was the cherry on top! This rental was absolutely worth every penny, and its only a matter of time until we're back.

The apartment was spacious with a comfortable bed and sofa bed. Felt homey. It is right in the heart of historic Coupville—charming town. We loved being so close to shops, restaurants, and the water. The little deck facing the water was perfect for breakfast in the sun.

This is such a cute little place. Very clean and comfortable. The town of Coupeville has many wonderful restaurants that we tried and were delicious. It also has a lot of interesting history. Coupeville is a sleepy town during the week and things close up by 8 pm, although the weekends may have more options for a nightcap or drink if you chose. The owners wine shop below is open Wed-Sat or Sunday and is a treat for wine tasting!

We wanted a little getaway where we could have nature and quaintness all at our fingertips. In less than a two minute walk, we had access to restaurants, ice cream, book shops, gift shops, wines shops, the beach shore, and the long dock that leads out to the picturesque wharf. When we wanted a little escape, we would simply duck up into our room where we could relax or people watch out the window. From one window, we watched the cozy town and the strolling shoppers; and from the other window, the sail boats and sea birds hunt for mussels. Inside the little apartment itself everything was very clean. Super soft bedding, and plenty of places to relax. We appreciated the coffee mugs, the wine, glasses, and the cute little tea sets. Oh, we also appreciated the puzzles!

The apartment is everytbing it is advertised to be. Parked the car the night we got here and didn’t drive again until we left. Walked everywhere, even to the red apple market and back, a 2 mile stroll. All meals a simple walk away and of course the tasty wine just downstairs. Really enjoyed Coupeville.

This is my second visit!! It’s a great location. Beautiful views of the cove and even sunsets! The wine store downstairs is so welcoming and the hosts are easy to communicate with (since they are just downstairs!) The accommodations are exactly what you need and it’s very tidy and cozy.

Cozy little apartment with a view of the warf from the small balcony. Neat, and tidy with a comfy bed. The hosts were awesome with great communication; very responsive and very accommodating. This was the perfect stop over for us on our boating trip. Tie up at the warf, and it’s just a short walk away.

Cute, homey upstairs apartment with beautiful view from living space and cozy front landing. Great location in quaint downtown Coupeville. Hosts were great, Patsy got right back to me when I emailed her a question and were very available. Kitchen light duty as described and had everything we needed. Does have a Keurig coffee maker which we would have brought pods for, but Larry brought us some. Fans in the closet, which were nice, as the weather warmed up and also nice cross breeze from opening windows. Only thing we might suggest would be black out curtains in the bedroom, as spring sunrise is early when the skies are clear! A bit of noise some mornings with delivery trucks to nearby business, but brief. Sorry we didn’t get a chance to spend time at their wine shop downstairs since class we were attending at the art school, kept us busy. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed being right in the middle of downtown Coupeville. As you descend the stairway on your right is a lovely park, walking trail and dock; on your left the Front Street Grill, a coffee shop and various other places to eat. Directly across the street is an ice cream shop that people happily queue up for. Once back it the apartment, everything you see is lovely. Patsy has a great design eye! We will be back soon.

The property is right on the cute downtown strip, you can walk to dinner or a drink or just pop downstairs for a glass of wine. You are literally on the water. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Parking was a breeze, even during the busy time the furthest we had to park was a block away, most the time we got a spot right out front. The owners are great and it was fun to chat with them while wine tasting in their shop. We will definitely be staying here again and suggesting it to friends.

Great location and great hosts; however, they should not have been renting the unit on the two days they were pressure washing the building. We could not rest in the unit during the day due to the excessive noise. In addition, they should give warning in their advertising that their wine shop below is noisy from noon until closing (5:30 PM/7:30 PM). We could hear conversations word for word like we were in the next room and later in the day/evening it felt like we were sitting in a noisy bar. My partner drove to a local park and sat in the truck to read just to get away from the noise.

Again a perfect second stay during the busy Coupville Muscle Fest no less. Room is steps away from front street, easy access to the town. Owners are friendly and easy to communicate with as they have the shop right below. Basic amenities, comfy sitting area and bed. Kitchenette for light use. Room warmth is good or two nice fans for summer weather to keep cool. Booking weekend stay is a must for any couple.

We needed a weekend away from the city and responsibilities and this apt provided us a great spot for exactly that. Highlights were the super comfy bed and gorgeous views of Mt. Baker and Penn Cove. We were close to Ebey Landing so got a great hike in on a sunny day and enjoyed a delicious breakfast sandwich at The Cove. Thanks for an easy booking and lovely stay.

This apartment directly on Penn Cove is hard to beat for comfort, location, view and the very accommodating hosts! My husband and I stayed here for our son's wedding and Patsy and Larry could not have been more welcoming. This small historic area of Coupeville is so interesting with small shops, coffee stops, a fine restaurant and a museum about the history of Whidbey Island. I highly recommend Vail's View. Be sure to visit Patsy and Larry's wine shop down below..it is a treat!

We LOVED this charming little apartment! It is conveniently located on Penn Cove within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is tastefully decorated and very clean. It has everything you need for a getaway and nothing you don't need. We are already planning to return in March 2023!
