Walking distance to great restaurants, nightclubs, sports bars, shopping centers, marinas, and First Landing State Park with scenic biking and walking trails to the Oceanfront.
Short drive to the Atlantic Oceanfront and Virginia Beach Boardwalk area offering entertainment and events. Oceanfront to Bayfront bus stop boarding area across the street.
Bringing a kayak, canoe or jet ski? City and private launching facilities nearby.

The cottage was sweet, comfortable. Just as described. However, we were informed upon check in that the dishwasher was broken and would not be fixed. I guess this was okay, we don’t use a dishwasher at home. We woke up on day #2 to a massive ant invasion. We did not have an emergency phone number to call. I had to google the host name and then find a phone number from her Facebook profile. She did not respond through the VRBO message and it took her about an hour and a half to return our phone call. We did not feel that the communication was good. Would have been nice if the host was easier to get in touch with.
