Situated in Port Angeles, this lovely condo for $145 per night is a great choice for your next trip. It's just like being there. Check it out. PLEASE BE ADVISED- The base price is for the initial one or two guests. Additional guests -INCLUDING CHILDREN OF ANY AGE - are charged at $30 per person, per night. Undeclared additional guests are charged at $100 per person, per night, charged through VRBO as "extra bed" and due immediately. The external portions of the space (Front/Back yard, and walkways)are covered by security cameras to ensure the safety and integrity of the property) We are building an additional dwelling unit on the alley. The use of the Sauna is shared with our alley unit -"Oak Alley". They have ODD days - CZZ has EVEN days. Owners may, at time use it as well. Chez ZigZag' is an upstairs apartment accessed from 204 S Oak St. It's only three blocks from the ferry to Victoria. It has a delightful view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca , Victoria, B.C., Mt. Baker and assorted ocean going vessels. The activity of the harbor is always changing. Over 60 different types of boats and ships can be seen regularly. "Chez" (pronounced "shay") is French for "at the home of", and "ZigZag" is derived from the locally named ‘zigzag’ walkway that connects the home to the downtown area. Chez ZigZag is within easy walking distance of: downtown and an excellent organic grocery "Country Aire" (1 block), Field Arts And Event Center, and Safeway / Starbucks (2 blocks), the Coho Ferry (3 blocks) and Hollywood Beach/ Discovery Trail head (4 blocks). Downtown also boasts a wide variety of excellent restaurants - all just a short walk away. Guests have access to either the front patio with its clear Dome-i-cile, the rear covered patio in the back, or the Sauna (on even days). Chez ZigZag offers a memorable home away from home, stocked with everything you could want or need for a wonderful visit to Port Angeles. Add to that sine Fresh Eggs from the Coop in the back yard for a delicious breakfast. The owners live on the main level and are eager to make sure your stay is wonderful, but won't be bothering you. They can be there on arrival to answer any questions and show you around if requested. Why stay anywhere else! FYI - The gate to the front patio is latched, but not locked, every night at 10PM a You're welcome to stay late, but please latch the gate when you retire. My best friend and I stayed here for 2 days for a quick girls weekend away. This was the perfect little place for us. It was cozy, very clean, and had great views. Super close to downtown, and we even hopped the ferry to Victoria for the day. We had farm fresh eggs for breakfast that the hosts generously left us. Communication was clear, and check-in/check-out was a breeze! Would absolutely stay here again!

My mother and I spent a long weekend exploring Olympic with Port Angeles as our home base. The Zig Zag was a great size for us, allowing all the comforts of home with incredible views and a central location. Our hosts could not have been kinder or more accommodating. If we ever return to Port Angeles, we will DEFINITELY stay at Che Zig Zag again!

We could not have had a better place to stay during our visit to Olympic NP. The apartment was the perfect location and size, and had a nice view of the water. We returned our first day to find a carton of fresh eggs, compliments of the owner’s chickens. We especially enjoyed the heated floor in the bathroom and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Hope to return some day for another visit!

Don’t know where to start, perfect location, the view from windows beautiful. We came early and parked by place in the morning went down zigzag trail that lead right to board for our whale watching tour, when we came back time to check in. The outside sitting area was beautiful and we had everything ready waiting for us to light a fire in outside chimney. Managers always available for questions. Bonus we got fresh chicken eggs and the heated bathroom floor hit the spot. Not far to go hiking. Just perfect will be back for sure.

What an amazing find in Port Angeles! Chez ZigZag is close to town, has a gorgeous view of the bay and is clean and gorgeously decorated. The owners have thought of everything. There’s a binder with all the information you could need including restaurant reviews, a list of stores in towns and detailed information about the all sights to see in the area. We arrived to find chocolates on the beds, snacks in the kitchen, and fresh eggs in the refrigerator from the owners’ chickens. The bathroom floor is even heated. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay!

This adorable property is perfectly located with an amazing view. The owners live on property and are super gracious and accommodating. They now have hens and share their eggs. Such a yummy treat and fun! The unit was super clean and comfortable. Highly recommend! 👍

This apartment has an amazing water view, but the inside environment is just as beautiful. The Powells have done a thoughtful and artful job of making this a serene home away from home. Great location within walking distance to Port Angeles and a great jumping off point to Olympic National Park.

Was a great place to stay while exploring Olympic national park. Everything was clean and there were a lot of little amenities. Easy check in and out process. We enjoyed the yard, chickens, and views of the sea. It’s very close to restaurants and shops downtown Port Angeles. Great stay

Our stay at Chez Zig Zag was absolutely wonderful. The suite is the top floor of the house where our hosts Brent and Amy live and is very well setup. We loved the big windows looking out over the harbour!
Brent and Amy were very proactive with communications and we would recommend their place to anyone headed to the area.
Their place is only a short drive to the road where you head up to Hurricane Ridge.

We stayed upstairs in Che Zig Zag. It decorated very nicely and has incredible views from the living room and kitchen. The place is immaculate and well decorated. The outdoor patio is to die for with a wood burning outdoor fireplace, chair swings, patio tables, and even a enclosed plastic dome if it gets cool at night. You can see up the strait of Juan de Fuca and town is below and a short walk. The only bad thing is once you are there you hate to leave to go explore. It's a great place to unwind. We'll be back!

Chez Zig Zag was the perfect spot for my daughter and I to come home to after a long day of hiking. Walking through the charming gate and into the beautiful garden - complete with chickens! - and having a chat with Brent or Amy before heading upstairs to the lovely 2nd floor of their home is why you choose to go VRBO over hotels, right? Expect a spotless rental but be thrilled to see touches like an umbrella by the door, soaps at every sink, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, cozy bedding and and stacks of fluffy towels waiting for you. We needed to run a load of laundry while there and Brent handed us a full bottle of detergent not realizing it had run out. Location is absolutely perfect but be ready to wrestle your luggage up a long flight of narrow steps (not an issue if you don’t pack your entire closet like we do) and take a lot of steps or zig zag ramp to get back to the property from the main district. That said, you can walk everywhere and enjoy a gorgeous view from this home. Thanks again Brent and Amy! Highly recommend!

Loved our stay in this gorgeous home! So much skylight, lovely decor, attention to detail, outdoor fireplace to star gaze, bubble for hangout in the backyard, adorable chickens, this home has it all! Superb view and easy walk to downtown. We enjoyed interacting with the hosts and their recommendation of Sabai thai was the highlight of our stay!!!

Everything was exactly as pictured and described. We enjoyed the outdoor space grilling steaks and playing cornhole after a day of hiking. Winnie is a sweetie and loves to play. The views of the water at sunrise and sunset didn't disappoint!

This was by far the highlight of all the places we stayed during our week long trip to the Pacific Northwest. The hosts were gracious, and had excellent communication prior to our arrival. The location was perfect with views of the water situated just above downtown with easy walking access to all the Port Angeles shops and restaurants. The property was impeccably maintained and adorned like a 5 star hotel. The property's outdoor patios and fireplace were our private oasis. This was also located ideally for day trips to Hurricane Ridge, the Lavender Farms in Sequim, and Marymere Falls at Lake Crescent. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone who was taking a trip to the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Chez ZigZag. It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants or walk to the grocery store. By staying in Port Angeles, we were able to check out parts of Olympic National Park as well as go on a whale watching cruise. We all enjoyed the garden "igloo" as well as sitting by the fire each night.

Very private. We had a beautiful outdoor fireplace with view of water. Beds very comfortable, views made you want to stay in and enjoy. I great resting place to visit the National park. We enjoyed the minimalist aesthetic of the rooms!

Wow! Exquisitely updated and decorated. Fabulous views of the strait. The outdoor amenities are thoughtful and fun; including the fireplace, patio, and dome. The yard is carefully tended and gorgeous! And there are cute chickens in the back yard coop. Amy and Brent are thoughtful and kind hosts.
