This updated unit is truly ocean front, only steps from the sand and water. The unit offers comfort, privacy and views of the ocean from Santa Cruz back across the Monterey Bay to Moss Landing. One bedroom units at Pajaro Dunes, "SHOREBIRDS" have the best unobstructed 180-degree views of Monterey Bay from Santa Cruz to Monterey that Pajaro Dunes has to offer. Come ready to relax and enjoy this fully furnished condo, including linens, towels, washer & dryer, everything you need in the kitchen and an outdoor propane BBQ. Sleep on a comfortable king size bed and enjoy the 42-inch HD flat screen TV in the bedroom that includes Netflix. Or our SMART 55 inch HD flat screen with Netflix in the living room. We have expanded Charter HD cable with Showtime, HBO and the sports package. The living room has a comfortable queen size Murphy wall bed. The condo comes with it's own high speed Internet connection that will provide constant access to the Internet via your laptop, iPhone or tablet. This condo is in the desirable gated "SHOREBIRDS" complex with twenty-four hour security. Unlike the two bedroom units you will enjoy complete privacy from the living room and bedroom as the windows face the ocean and not other nearby units. Shorebirds is located along Sunset State Beach where you will have access to miles of sandy beach. After walking on the beach, swimming or surfing in the ocean you can rinse off in the outdoor shower on the first floor. In the evening you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the privacy of your living room, bedroom or deck. Or you can walk out onto the beach where you will find fire pits for bonfires. Hiking trails and walking paths around the lagoon. You have full access to the Shorebirds homeowner’s association tennis and basketball courts. There is an onsite store open seven days a week. Enjoy fine dining in Monterey, Carmel or Pebble Beach. Or travel a shorter distance north to Santa Cruz and other nearby towns for shopping, dining and sightseeing. World class golf courses open to the public are on the Monterey Peninsula, Pebble Beach and Santa Cruz. When in season you can visit the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Our stay was wonderful. We had perfect warm weather, quiet relaxation time enjoying the clear and beautiful view along with the sound of the waves crashing. Our walk was peaceful and enjoyable, found some wonderful beach treasures. The house was warm and welcoming. Comfortable couch and bed, fully stocked with everything you need. Surprised that Hostess gave us a welcome snack basket and wine bottle (no one does that anymore) it was so sweet and thoughtful of them.

This is a fabulous place in a pristine location with a great host. Easy routes to Monterey and Santa Cruz with actually little reason to leave such a great view and beach. Beach access is right out the front door. The patio is so close to the ocean it feels like you're overlooking your own private beach with privacy provided by the beautiful dunes. The unit is very well stocked and the host is very communicative and offers excellent hospitality.

We loved the condo. Perfect location, nice and quiet. The view of the ocean from every window was amazing, u are right on the beach. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the hummingbirds along with the waves rolling in. Everything is beautifully updated, the kitchen countertops were stunning as were all of the bathroom fixtures. We hope to stay again soon!

The place was absolute perfection. It had all the necessary amenities and was kept very clean. Instructions were very descript and the owner was very responsive. It was a perfect weekend destination.

The Salty Dog was the perfect place to relax and and recharge. Paul and Tuana were easy to communicate with and so welcoming, providing snacks for the kids and wine for the adults upon arrival. This was such a nice touch. Thank you! The home was cozy and clean, with one of the best views we have ever experienced at Pajaro Dunes. The Murphy bed in the living room was perfect for our two boys and was much more comfortable than a pull out couch.

I had a fantastic stay at this property. The hosts have created a beautiful, comfortable and well appointed home and provide warm and thoughtful hospitality. You get an incredible view in this second floor unit yet do not have to use stairs to get to the unit or to the beach (there are also ramped walkways as options). I saw dolphins and sea otters every day in the surf, and the hummingbirds on the deck are really fun to watch. Great beach for long walks. I have already booked my next stay!

Lovely view, perfect beach access
We had a wonderful stay in this condo. Beach access couldn't have been more convenient for popping in and out for a morning jog, afternoon sand play, and evening walks. Just gazing at the ocean out of those big livingroom windows was often enough--beautiful and relaxing. And when the doors were opened, the sound of the waves was so soothing. The condo was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the deck was perfect for breakfast and a cup of tea. We would gladly return. Thank you!

Had to travel to see the area sites, so that was the only downside, however everything else was almost perfect, we loved the beautify beach and felt safe and secure in guarded and gate neighborhood. Our host was very accommodating with accessing, as we left our key away from the residence!

Wonderful place to stay
We loved everything about our stay. The place was beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Beautiful view and a few steps from the beach. perfect beach getaway!
We were going on our first trip with our six month old and looking for a relaxing place with ocean views that had close access to the beach and this was the absolute perfect spot!
There was plenty of room for us all! My mother and sister came and stayed in the main bedroom, my husband and I slept on the Murphy bed in living room and we brought a pack and play for our baby.
There is nothing like waking up and drinking coffee with picture perfect views of the dunes and ocean from the living room by a cozy fireplace on a chilly morning!
The location of the condo is right next to beach access and your toes are in the sand within seconds which is so convenient with a little one if needing to go back and forth.
We highly recommend staying here for the location, cleanliness and comfort of condo, very friendly and great communication with owner.

The condo is perfect! It is very warm and inviting, the furniture and bed are comfortable, the appliances are great, and the unit is 100% equipped with whatever you need. There is nothing we can think of to bring when we return.
The breathtaking views of the ocean from the bedroom, the living room and the kitchen, are stunning! Hearing the waves crash all day and all night is equally wonderful, and there is so much more to experience here. Out the condo and down a short flight of stairs, you are kicking off your shoes for relaxing walks on the long expanse of shoreline. If we weren’t walking, we enjoyed the sunrise from the deck with our morning coffee and/or a relaxing drink from the deck for sunset.
This location is ideal. A short drive north, is Santa Cruz (we love the redwood trees and hiked a day amongst these giants). A short drive south, you find yourself in Monterey.
Words cannot do justice to our incredible experience. This getaway brought us what we needed to check out, recharge and start the countdown until we can return again. Heaven on Earth for sure!

We’ve stayed at a number of condos at Pajaro Dunes and this was one of the nicest. Not only was the condo very comfortable, it was gorgeous inside and out. The view and sound of the ocean was so relaxing.

My wife and I have stayed at this property before. It has a 180 degree view and the sunsets are fantastic. We were going to stay at the Green Gables for our 35th wedding anniversary next year but we're now thinking we're going to return to the same condo again. It can't be beat. My wife and I have stayed at this property before. It has a 180 degree view and the sunsets are fantastic. We were going to stay at the Green Gables for our 35th wedding anniversary next year but we're now thinking we're going to return to the same condo again. It can't be beat.
