Our OCEAN FRONT Shorebirds condo is a well cared for family home consisting of 2 bd/2ba, 2nd floor in building H of the Pajaro Dunes North complex (gated community with security). The unit is wheel chair accessible from the parking lot via ramps. The unit includes free secure WIFI, domestic land line phone, and cable TV. There is a propane BBQ on the deck for your use. Sleeps 4-5 adults and up to 2 kids in bunk beds. Max 6 people. Master bedroom: king size bed with a private full bath and access to the deck. Wake up to the sound of the waves or have coffee in bed enjoying the ocean view. Includes a flat screen smart TV and Blu-ray. Guest bedroom: queen + bunk bed (2 twins), sleeps 4. There is a 2nd full bath off the guest room. Includes smart flat screen TV with DVD player. Kitchen amenities: microwave, water filter, coffeemaker, Keurig, waffle maker, pots, pans and bakeware, dishes, crock pot, blender, griddle, electric tea kettle, hand and stand mixers and more... Living Room: 42” smart flat screen TV and Blu-ray, small stereo system, new (2022) electric fireplace. Beautiful view of the ocean. Dining Room: Includes dining for 6, plus two bar areas with seating. Onsite convenience store with book and movie rental. Outside shower to wash off all the sand and fun in the sun. Renovations completed June 2015. New paint, carpet, doors throughout, new furniture, all new linens. Renovated baths & kitchen. County of Santa Cruz TOT Certificate #CO00067

Beautiful property! Easy beach access and lovely ocean views from inside. Quiet area, very refreshing. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

We stayed as a family of four for three nights late December. The weather was perfect and the sunsets that can be viewed from the condo were gorgeous. The condo has a full kitchen equipped with everything you need to bake, cook, and BBQ. If you forgot coffee and shampoo, like we did, there is a little store at the Pajaro Dunes lobby store that is walkable. Charging for our electric vehicle was at a convenient location. This was extremely relaxing for all of us!

Our family stay was wonderful in so many ways. We loved the sky-and-sand decor theme that was so nicely presented throughout the home, including the way the tiled and pebbled shower underscored the beachy feel. The accessories were easy to find and filled all our needs. We enjoyed the variety of flora that festooned the property, including succulents and grasses. There was ample privacy but also great views of the beach and surf. One cautionary note: there is a step down coming out of the shower that can be unexpected and pose a fall risk to the unwary.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our time at this quiet condo complex with space for all and with the beach just steps away, we spent the day watching the birds fish and playing in the surf. If only we lived closer, we’d be back every weekend if we could.

We have stayed at Pajaro several times over the years. This condo is definitely one of the best. Well stocked kitchen including some cooking spices and oil. Pretty much just bring your food. Very comfortable and inviting with décor touches and the beds are fantastic! Enjoy your coffee or cocktail on the patio/balcony while gazing at the ocean. Being on the second level the view of the water is amazing. Look forward to visiting again!

The location could not have been better. It was great to be right on the beach. The communication with host was great. There were some items that were not functional like the curtains and beach chairs but nothing that made our stay bad. Just minor things you would expect from a rental. The place is the perfect size for family and has everything you need. Overall it was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone.

This is our go-to property at our go-to spot for a guaranteed pleasant time by the sea. We love this comfy and charming condo that is steps from the beach and a (relatively) short drive to Santa Cruz. We love it so much this was our third stay since 2019. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time here. The beds were comfy. The layout of the living was funky. The couch was not comfortable. We couldn’t sit down all together for a movie night. However, the kids liked the toys. The beach was very accessible. Bunk beds were a hit! This place is needing a few things that would have been nice to have. Small cooler and ice packs, bandaids are a must, more pillows in the master bedroom, and fans would have made our stay more comfortable. Overall we had a great time.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had a fantastic time at this lovely Pajaro Dunes condo. Steps from the beach and a restful home to retreat to after a long day at the beach. We will come back again!

Beautiful property. We spent many mornings drinking coffee and staring at the awesome view of the ocean from the picture windows. It was centrally located for day trips. Saw many spring flowers as we walked the beach and property.

This was the best VRBO we’ve stayed on. The beach access was amazing, the views were fantastic (even with the bad March flooding and storms!) All the little things were thought of and it was very clean. We so appreciate being able to find this gem. We will be back someday hopefully soon!

There aren't many oceanfront condos along this part of the coast, luckily Pajaro Dunes is a unique exception. Although the wood on many of the condos & outdoor railings are getting weathered and moss covered, it adds to the rustic charm of the place (just beware the skunk that hangs around). Once inside, everything was exactly as described and pictured. There are a few minor things that could be improved, but nothing that detracted from us loving this condo. The view is fantastic, can't stay much closer to the ocean anywhere along the Cali Coast. Sharron was quick responding to us and was very helpful when our plans changed at the end, definitely hope to return soon.

My husband and I took our 19 month old son for our first family trip. It was the perfect stay. Such a beautiful space to relax and enjoy some fresh air. The host described it as family friendly and we were not disappointed. Our son was very happy and able to safely play throughout the home. We will be returning as soon as we can.

It needs a new rug - not something vaguely shag like that it currently has - but something like most hotels now have - easily vacuumed and not holding things - flat but cushy. We slept in the room by the front door, and it was musty.
The kitchen was well stocked and good for preparing and eating food. The dining and living areas were pretty good - better than many - we found the living room chairs a bit uncomfortable and the dining table a bit flawed for cards because it is not smooth.
The access to the beach is awesome. Also the provisions to keep sand out of the unit were much appreciated. The hydrant by the beach was surrounded by sand, so it didn't work for the bottom of my feet. But there was a hose near the front door that saved me.
We mainly used this as a less expensive way to stay near Monterey - and it worked well for that.

Perfect for our family of 5 for a few beach days. Everything was there that we needed for a clean, quiet, and serene beach stay. Great proximity to Big Sur, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. The beach is super clean and picturesque. Sunsets were amazing and morning walks foggy but so cool looking. The condo is nicely updated and decorated wonderfully. Thank you for a great stay!

We love Pajaro Dunes
We have stayed at several different units at PD and this one was among some of the cleanest and most spacious. We had mostly everything we needed. Although I would recommend bringing your own pillow. Only complaint was there were no extra trash bags or plug to wash dishes in the sink.

Absolutely loved my stay here, especially as a getaway with my parents and family. Easy walk to beach so my parents didn’t have difficulty if they needed to get back to the condo. Views were spectacular. Everything we needed and if we forgot something Instacart and DoorDash had ability to come in and deliver easily. Highly recommended!
