About this house rental
Located in Rio Del Mar, this charming house for $317 per night is a great option for your next break. Stay just two houses away from the 13th Green of Seascape Golf Course and a short walk to the ocean down the street! The Country French charm of this brick home and semi-circular driveway with loads of parking await you. Prepare your gourmet meals or serve your takeout on the large center island of the open concept kitchen. Large L-shaped couch with chaise lounge faces the expansive deck with chairs for eight and barbecue. Below that deck, look out to the peaceful trees and enjoy the privacy under the large striped umbrella. Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom with two separate sink areas, a bathtub and grab bars for your convenience. Adjacent bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed and share a hall bathroom with shower stall. Remaining guests can sleep on an air mattress, which we provide. Washer and dryer on site for those beach clothes!

The house was perfect for our 3 generation family.
Plenty of room indoors and out. The kitchen was very well stocked! The washer and dryer were very convenient in the garage. Plenty of off street parking. The mattresses and bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed dinners outside in the sunshine around the huge table on the back deck. We walked to the beach from the house, sometimes we drove to the bottom of the hill if we were hauling a bunch of beach stuff...the hill was steep coming up.
We could tell we were living in a home that was loved by the owners. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was a great layout for our family of 4 and the outdoor spaces/decks were awesome. This was the cleanest VRBO that I have ever stayed in. They had lots of essentials (TP, paper towels, detergent, etc) that a lot of VRBO owners don’t provide so it was nice not having to go shopping for a bunch of stuff upon arriving. The owner/manager was very responsive to our questions ahead of the stay and always answered in under an hour. The location of the house only about 1/4 mile away from the beach access is phenomenal. Thank you for the amazing stay, we will be back!

This is our third stay, and it never disappoints. Hosts are very easy to communicate with, and responsive. House is very clean, with a very well set up kitchen for cooking, which we used extensively this year. House is stocked with good quality cooking utensils, bedding, towels, TV, and feels like the home I wish I had. Beautiful outside porch that we didn’t use this year, but between the inside and outside, big enough to host family gatherings.
A nice, quiet neighborhood, close to a beach, and a quick drive to Santa Cruz. I would rather have this house than something closer to Santa Cruz, it’s quiet, peaceful, and nicely appointed.

We loved this property. The house was perfect. There were plenty of towels, linen and bedding for everyone's comfort. The kitchen was a chef's dream. The hosts were super accommodating from the start. Short drive to toddler friendly Rio Del Mar beach. The back deck and play structure were perfect for family dinner and undwinding from the day. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home for the week. Thanks for the great stay!

Lots of indoor space and lovely outdoor deck to enjoy the nice weather. Location is perfect for any golf enthusiast. Checkin and check out was easy breezy. There is some opportunity for cleanliness but overall good place to stay and we would stay here again.

After reading the reviews, we were very excited to stay there. The outside of the house was beautiful, the inside was a bit dated. We were expecting a fresh clean smell, but there was a stale odor and the couch could use a good shampooing. There was cleaning products in the house, so we were able to clean so we could be comfortable. The kitchen was the main selling point for choosing the house, my family loves cooking. We had brought our own kitchen items, but you definitely will not need it. Unfortunately, we did have a few issues. The main restroom doorknob did not work and I didn't discover that until trying to open the door and realizing I was locked in the restroom. I had to knock on the door to have someone open it for me. We all tried to remember not to let the door latch, but unfortunately a few of us still ended up locked in the restroom. The patio banister was not very secure, we made it a point not to lean on it. My family did not find the neighbors welcoming. It became pretty obvious that neighborhood was not accustomed to seeing African Americans in that area. That became more obvious after we checked out and I got an email from the owners making some outrageous accusations of my family smoking marijuana in the house. It was very offensive, but pretty funny as I'm a law enforcement officer plus my baby has asthma and has to be given an inhaler pump twice a day so there's absolutely no way I would have allowed any smoking. Between the unwelcoming neighbors and the owners stereotypical remarks, my family would never stay there again. Those are things you can't just repair or replace.

Pleasant stay near the beach in Aptos
Very comfortable house just a short drive from the beach. The ocean is not visible from the house and the closest access is private property but good directions to public access can be gotten online searching California beaches. The house is on a busy street with a double yellow line down the middle and a fair amount of traffic, seems to go about 40 mph. There are not good sidewalks in the immediate block of the house but the curb lane is marked off for parking and can be walked in. My grandchildren enjoyed the swingset.

Lovely getaway
We had a great time visiting with our family that lives in the area and really enjoyed the house. The house is beautiful and very well stocked. We had everything we needed in the gourmet kitchen to cook our meals each night. There was plenty of seating and a lot of wonderful outdoor space to use. The bedrooms were comfortable and had plenty of extra linens and pillows if needed. The location was perfect and easy to get to several beaches. We did have one little issue when we arrived and the owner was able to send someone out immediately to see to it. Sunder was very kind and responsive. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

This house was so pretty and clean. It was perfect for the five of us. Our granddaughter loved the play structure in the backyard. The beds were comfy. It was located in a very nice quiet neighborhood and wasn’t too far away from all the activities we had planned.
