Two bedrooms are upstairs with a connecting full bath between. One bedroom is downstairs with a connecting bathroom. Stairway leads down to dock and boat mooring. Swimming is excellent for children. There are bicycles, canoes and kayaks that come with this property. A boat mooring is available. The property is a short ride to the bike path that leads to Burlington or the Champlain Islands.

The house was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. The view was spectacular! Very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our three night stay there. It would be nicer if there were recliners in the living room.

Thank goodness for GPS or we would have spent a half hour looking for it in the dark! The best part about that was NO TRAFFIC. 😀 Four adults, we all thought it was even nicer than pictured. Beds were comfy... fridge, stove, coffee maker and microwave all worked as expected. We spent as much as we could on the big deck, enjoying our views of the lake. Highly recommended, we would definitely rent here again.

The house is lovely with a great porch overlooking the lake which includes sunset views! Comfortable beds and all we needed in kitchen! The location was wonderful to access the causeway bike trail over the lake (amazing bike ride!) and greenway into Burlington (another awesome bike ride!). Four bikes come with the house and the bike quality is fair - helmets didn’t fit us and there was no bike lock (for while we explored Burlington) so might want to BYO. Only other challenge was owners request to wash and dry a load of towels prior to leaving and not leave dryer running. With a 6am flight need to plan ahead to do night prior … Overall a lovey and strategic relationship lace to stay!

Quintessential, picture-perfect lakehouse. This place is for those looking to unplug and sit on the large deck and enjoy the amazing view of the lake. Lots of local businesses a short drive away, and a short drive to Burlington for the Church St. Marketplace and the waterfront park area there. Definitely recommend Leddy Park if you're looking for an urban nature trail or a sandy beach to sun and swim in Lake Champlain. The only con to the property that we found was that the house gets uncomfortably warm on hot days. Would definitely stay again, though.

We had a great four days on Lake Champlain and close to all that is Burlington. The dock is not in as it is quite early in the season. There is a shale rock shoreline to sit and enjoy sunsets and fish from. Grill for Grilling, typical kitchen appliances including: coffeemaker, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. Visit Burlington Farmers Market, Shelburne Farms, the many breweries, Brio coffee grab a coffee and visit all the art studios in that building; it is like a free art museum! Bike the Burlington Trail and get home to watch sunset! It is different every night. Dining table seats 4 but there are also 4 barstools for bigger groups to dine. Deck had three or four chair and table sets allowing 8 to sit and dine on the deck. We were very happy to find a clean rental that allowed a well behaved canine family member.

We were in Burlington for a wedding over Memorial weekend and chose this property for 4 of us. The space was perfect for 2 couples and we enjoyed the proximity to the biking trail and sitting out on the deck. Be prepared for steep steps down to the lake (which wasn't an issue for us). We had hoped that the dock would have been in, but it was a bit early in the season for that. That didn't however stop us for dipping into the lake a couple times. We would highly recommend this property and if we ever found ourselves back in Burlington, would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful property in a quiet lake front neighborhood. Amazing views and very peaceful. The house is large and well equipped. Very clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Wish the towels provided were a little better. would be an easy fix. Docks were not in yet as the water level was too high. The outdoor deck was great to sit out and enjoy the views. Owner was very responsive .Would highly recommend and would stay here again if back in the area.

The pictures we saw online were not misleading at all. The house was very nice, very clean, and had all the amenities of home. We loved the view of the lake and being able to watch the sunsets. We loved the feeling of being secluded, but were still close enough to the city to go out and explore. We would definitely recommend this property, and would stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time on Windy Lane. The views were spectacular and the photos didn’t do the house justice, in my opinion. The beds and couches were comfortable and we had plenty of room. The deck has gates on both sides, which was invaluable with a dog and a toddler. We hope to be back again!

This is the second time staying here and we really enjoyed our time. The location is stunning right on the water with close by walking trails. Very quiet and relaxing with perfect fall colors. A short drive to terrific diners and sites! The owners are very attentive to all details to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you!

We spent a couple of days enjoying this A-frame home on beautiful Lake Champlain. Donald and Diane were easy to communicate with and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed several restaurants in Burlington, which is just a short drive away. I highly recommend this home for your stay in Colchester!

Very cute house with efficient layout. Best sunsets in our six-week vacation across New England. Great location to bike trails. Nice quiet, semi remote location, on a waterfront. Plenty of parking for two vehicles and garage to store our bikes (owner also has bikes in garage). All the thoughtful items for vacation were in the house.

Very comfortable and great location for our fall tours North, East and South of Burlington. Dunkin Donuts just minutes away as well as supermarket. Downtown 15 minutes away. Marvelous Lake Champlain sunset first night we were there. Very quiet. Comfortable beds.

Beautiful location with gorgeous views. House was just what we expected, very comfortable with everything we needed, including air conditioning. Hosts were next door and were very friendly and quick to respond when we had any questions. We enjoyed hiking and hanging out by the dock. Water was quite shallow and clear with a silty soft bottom after the initial rocky shore area. You could wade out very far and only be up to your waist. We had a great time!

My family and I had a great time! The house was perfect! Spotless and accommodating! The owners were very nice and welcoming! We brought our dog and it was perfect! We all loved and enjoyed the lake and the amenities, including the paddle board and canoe! We hope to return in the near future!

The property has a million dollar view from the deck and dock. Excellent location - close to downtown Burlington as well as the bike trail and beautiful Vermont parks. Communication with the owners was convenient and prompt. I would definitely recommend this property!

We met at this house for some quality family time. It is a tidy home with a beautiful view of the lake in a secluded neighborhood. The weather was cold, windy with fits of snow and sleet. We stayed in and cooked, played games and watched basketball with the lakeview in the background. Although the stove is older, the kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meal. The wood burning stove was used every night which made the house very cozy. There is a grocery close and a few restaurants close by. I do think it is time to replace the mattresses, but that was our only concern and it was very easy to contact the owners.

Our daughter plays hockey for St. Michaels College and was unable to come home for Thanksgiving. We rented this home for the weekend before Thanksgiving and were just thrilled. The views of the lake are perfect. The photos are spot on. Great living room for all to relax and we used the woodburning stove for heat! (firewood supplied!!) The kitchen was well supplied (good enough to cook a thanksgiving dinner). All neighbors were very friendly!! (except one who told us to 'slow down' when we literally were going 8 miles per hour!!!) Watched the moon set over the mountains one morning. I would recommend this home!

Family and our little dog spent a great week here. The house is very comfortable right on the lake with beautiful views and sunsets. Close to bike trails and quick into Burlington, its definitely a property we’ll consider again when back in VT. Hosts were nice and very responsive to questions.

This cottage was perfect for our needs. It appears small but it is very spacious and has everything you could need. Also very clean and neat. The view of the lake and mountains is spectacular! I can only imagine what this place would be like in the summer!

The house was close to a grocery store, dining and things to do. Having 4 bicycles available on the property was fun. Very comfortable and well stocked. We found the house to be even nicer than the photos on the site.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and the furniture was nice. It was close to everything and we really liked the pickled perch. One thing you might want to think about changing are the upstairs mattresses. Old people have bad backs and we are in that age group. Thanks again. Nancy Hardy
