Sharon & Gil greeted us upon arrival to go through the house and explained how things worked, and how to steam all the live lobsters they furnished for us! The home is amazing, wonderful bedding, great views of the water and our private dock!! Definitely would love to come back and stay there again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the best time just hanging out at the house with our kids and enjoying Maine life. The house was great and the views were amazing. Friendship was a great location for us. We enjoyed the Market and Jamesons and would highly recommend staying here. The owners were wonderful and very helpful and easy to contact and work with.

True Maine experience: well provisioned local store and seafood restaurant short walk; working lobster boats in/out all day/night; pleasant neighbors; scenic local walk with views of sunrise/sunset. House, grounds, dock are spacious. Note to those unfamiliar with Maine -- a/c isn't a thing. Luckily window units in all bedrooms. We chose to kayak through lobster boats, but didn't swim off the dock. Beach excursions require driving, which was expected. We played whiffle ball in large front yard nightly.

We really enjoyed this house and property! Sharon was really helpful and kind. We had everything we needed, and the area of Friendship and the surrounding towns had plenty to do as well. Our only wish was for a few more fans—it was a humid week when we stayed!

Our Friendship home was a perfect place to set up as a home base for daily exploration of some of the most scenic Maine coast. After a long day of photography, a relaxing kayak ride right of the beach or just sitting on the porch with a nice view of the water was just what we needed. Plenty of space for friends to relax and unwind indoor or outdoor. A magical experience waking up to the sounds of the lobsterman starting their day. Walking out on the dock with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise. Hard to beat. Thanks to our hosts for coordinating a large order of lobster. Yum. Enjoyed many meals in the dining room. Perfect week in Maine. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

As always we had a great time in Maine but I must say that we really loved this house above all others. The location is in mid Maine which is great because going south and north is an easy trip. This house has the best view we have ever had while staying in Maine. We loved going down by the water and having bon-fires every night. The kayaks that Gil and Sharon provided was lots of fun. We love to eat Lobster and Gil and Sharon provided those for us at a very very reasonable price. Right down the street from the house is Jameson Lobster co.... so convenient and the food is outstanding. We would love to stay in this home again someday. Thanks Gil and Sharon for being available to us and all the information you gave us when we first arrived.
