The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The first room I was given was terrible. All of the bed sheets, pillow cases and throws were dirty. The bed had been made and the room “cleaned” but things were filthy. It was uncomfortable to sleep in. Stains on towels too. There was half a toilet roll. One window was broken and as a result couldn’t fully shut. Both windows were very poor quality and as a result the room was crazy nosey. It sounded like I was in the middle of the road. The road is busy. (No. 13) The staff were lovely though and moved me a much quieter room with only a window to the hall (no.3). It was also cleaner although still not great. Especially the throws.
As above. Also in order to have the room cleaned (toilet bin changed, new toilet paper) you have to leave the key with reception. I didn’t feel comfortable doing that. it’s much more of a motel. Very much a budget, you get the basics, hotel. I don’t understand how it is an 8 on booking.com. My Brazilian partner said it’s a place people would book to have intimacy and that it’s a dangerous neighbourhood.
