The hotel is truly unique, with its waterfront location and beautiful restaurant. It’s a hidden oasis of tranquility where you can unwind. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very comfortable here. The room was huge, beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The windows have built-in mosquito nets, which were very helpful given the hotel’s location by the river! The staff was very friendly and attentive.
I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast, since there wasn't a buffet where you could choose what you wanted; instead, you had to go to the restaurant and tell them what you wanted without a menu, and there weren't many options. I also found the wait times at the restaurant relatively long. Since there were still people in the restaurant until 1 or 2 a.m., it was pretty loud, and I could only sleep with earplugs. There is no elevator at the accommodation, but there are many stairs. Please keep this in mind if you use a wheelchair or have heavy luggage. However, the staff is very helpful and accommodating with it and helped me carry my luggage. If I didn't have a rental car, I wouldn't book this accommodation, since it's hard to get to without a car.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It has a great pool, sauna, and restaurant, and we truly enjoyed our time here with our family.
The sauna, hammam, pool, and jacuzzi were all in excellent condition. Our room was clean and cozy, with heated floors, a lovely terrace, and a beautiful view of the river and mountains.
The staff were friendly and welcoming everywhere we went, always smiling and happy to help.
The only small suggestion would be to provide bottled drinking water in the rooms

We had a warm welcome from the kind lady at reception who was very helpful and informative. The hotel is beautifully positioned on the river. The hotel interior is modern, minimal, clean, and feels very comfortable... just provides you with that touch of elegance and luxury without having to go to the expense of a 5 star hotel. Our room felt spacious and was located at reception level with balcony facing the river. I felt everything looked better in the flesh, than in the photos!
The spa area, with pool, sauna and steam room (reception level) was very relaxing after driving from Mostar. Before you enter the spa, sliders for your feet are provided, along with towels, and you can wear your white towelling robe (provided in your room) to the spa, which was very handy.
I loved the location of the hotel restaurant below reception level, offering a stark contrast to the hotel style, with its more homely, traditional décor and warm atmosphere. I loved this juxtaposition of styles! We ate there early in the evening — busy with local diners, which was lovely to see — and again for breakfast (waiter service not buffet). The food was very tasty and plentiful, on both occasions. The restaurant is easily accessed via the stairs inside the hotel.
The town of Trebinje is convenient to get to if you have a car – around a 10 minute drive to the town centre. I was concerned about this before arrival as a friend had told me that the hotel was a little out of the way, with a winding back road to get there... but I needn't have worried. This was a nice means of seeing the local residential area and we visited Trebinje centre with old town both evening and daytime, during our short stay.
Hercegovačka Gračanica Temple is just a 10 minute drive from the hotel – up the hill offering very scenic views of Trebinje and beyond. If you are an experienced driver and as long as you have Maps/Google Maps/Sat nav, then the hotel location is excellent!
I can’t think of anything negative. We visited at the end of October, and although the weather was very wet on the evening we arrived, it actually worked in our favour as it encouraged us to spend more time enjoying the spa and restaurant, with a drive out to Trebinje late evening. By the way, a number of restaurants in Trebinje were closed at this time of year which was fine as we had Hotel Studenac, and it was still lovely to explore the area and to visit the old town during the day.
