It was probably one of the most peaceful locations I've stayed in ! And characterful, as well as being well equipped and lovely and clean. Good communication with Kim. Nice touch with a welcome pack.
Rural setting but easy walk to a bus stop to go into Nottingham. Also near Papplewick pumping station ! And not far for walks in the Peak District.
The WiFi worked only in the kitchen area (+ bathroom!)
Not a big problem for us as we were out most of the time & the signal for 4g/5g was fine.

The Toy room is a great place to stay, very peaceful setting, but only a five minute walk to bus route. Great location for exploring many historic sites and beauty spots.

I cannot recommend this property enough. As a solo female traveller it felt very safe and secure. It had everything I needed and more. The personal touches were lovely. It was clean, cosy and comfortable. I found it easy to find with the help of what 3 words, you couldn’t go wrong. The owners were very helpful. I will most definitely be returning again in the future.

Working late so needed peace and quiet with parking for a van,absolutely ideal-got there and tea coffee milk bread and a lovely Swiss roll waiting for us after a very long day was a lovely touch
