Suncadia's *Most Complete* Vacation Experience w\/ Hot tub & Fire Pit!!
About this house rental
Located in Kittitas County, this charming house for $467 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. COMPLETE VACATION PACKAGE This home is the ONLY RENTAL HOME in Suncadia that comes with a golf package, a spa package, a ski package, and a NEW large on-premises hottub that is always on and always hot, and a new gas, covered fire-pit ready to use in any season. From ping pong (table tennis) and foosball tables to Xbox and Kinect games, to poker table and chips, so many toys abound in this gorgeous house that the whole family will want to join in on the fun. Your journey will most likely begin with at least one trip to the Glade Spring Spa, where “tensions dissolve” and “your natural glow is revealed”. If you stay for at least 3 days, you will be given a trip to the Glade Spring Spa (up to a $100 value) AND if you stay for at least 6 nights, you will also be given your choice of 1 massage per person (max of 2 people, up to a $250 value). Of course, if you’d rather just bask in the relaxation of the Glade Spring Spa for a longer period of time, you can trade in your massage and multiply the number of full days you can spend at the Spa. I believe the Glade Spring Spa website says it best when they say … “Glade Spring Spa at Suncadia draws its inspiration from nature, merging outdoor sanctuaries of warm pools and flowing creeks with rooms that bring the surrounding gardens and glades, forest and mountain views inside”. “Enjoy massages, body work, facials and couples' spa treatments focusing on balance, relaxation and rejuvenation using a blend of natural ingredients, healing body techniques, and advanced skin care. The luxury spa treatment center features vichy shower rooms, and duo rooms, including one with a private outdoor bath and deck.” “The Spa's mountain glades offer four hot outdoor mineral baths of varying soothing temperatures, meandering creeks, rustic saunas, outdoor treatment decks, natural walking paths, and fireside areas for relaxing. The glades feature a private women's garden, complete with a hot outdoor mineral bath and sauna. At Glade Spring Spa 'Enlighten your Mind, Nourish the Soul' is more than just a saying, it is a way of being.” Seeing as you are staying on a Golf Course, you might desire to set up a tee time or two. If you book for at least 3 nights, you can play a round of golf on us, and if you book for at least 6 nights, you and a guest can play a round of golf, on us, based on tee time availability. As Suncadia writes, “Created by the Palmer Course Design Company, Prospector is 18 holes of magnificent Mountain golf, featuring dazzling views, rolling fairways and fast, medium sized greens. While extremely playable for all skill levels, Prospector's well-bunkered fairways and numerous water features present plenty of risk/reward challenges for the more accomplished golfer as well.” Should you choose, you can also combine packages. One of the best ways to split these packages is to send the guys off to golf while the ladies take some time for themselves at the spa, all while the kids have a blast playing the Xbox Kinect. Suncadia boasts many winter activities on site already, but maybe you are in the mood for some downhill skiing instead. THE VACATION HOME Upon entering this home you are greeted by stone flooring and natural accents which carry throughout. Experience rustic elegance while taking in the views of the golf course and the serenity of the lake. Thoughtfully designed to face south for ample natural sunlight year round and a view from every window. Stroll around the yard on the path, enjoying the natural setting and vegetation, leading you to our beautiful fire pit. Stop here and enjoy wonderful drinks and endearing conversations. Enjoy relaxing in the grand room under the vaulted ceiling in front of the floor to ceiling stone large fireplace and listening to the sound system. The NEW dining area has seating for 12+… at a single table! The kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counter tops, an additional vegetable sink, gas stove and cherry cabinets with under mount lighting. The master suite upstairs includes queen bed, his and her vanities, and walk in rain shower. Find the 2nd master suit downstairs with queen bed, private bathroom, and fireplace. The third bedroom includes queen bed and futon. The fourth bedroom includes a twin-over-twin and twin-over full bunk beds with an additional twin. And there are plenty of addition futons, pull-out beds and sleeper sofas for more sleep capacity. This home includes a mud area between the three car garage and home for convenience so you don't have to go outside. The mud room includes a full size washer & dryer and has plenty of extra room for storing winter and summer toys. OUR INSPIRATION Our home is a reverse style home where the great room and living/family areas are upstairs and the majority of the bedrooms are downstairs. The kitchen and great room take full advantage of the luxurious vaulted ceilings, and since the majority of family time will be enjoyed on the upper floor, the entire family will feel an even greater since of privacy. Overlooking the golf course greens as well as our large water pond, while still maintaining a sense of privacy creates a complete feeling of…luxury and…peace…all at the same time. TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT Is there such thing as too much fun? Ever wanted to try Dance Central on Kinect? Ever thought about being a superstar singer in rock band? Ever relaxed in a hot tub on a luxurious golf course overlooking a beautiful water way under the stars, removed enough from it all, yet still able to see it all? That…is the feeling we will impart upon you by the time you have finished your stay. That is the feeling of…being momentarily complete. EXERCISE Feel like exercising? You do not have to bring any bikes. We have partnered with Suncadia in that you can purchase access to use bikes for the whole family. The beautiful winding streets that curve ever so slightly with nature, coupled with the amazing hiking trails, will have you soaking up nature so deeply you might forget you have to go home at the end of all of this. Or do you? In addition, guests of this house may have full access to the Suncadia Swim and Fitness Center vía the Suncadia Edge program (for additional fee) based on availability. In Suncadia’s words, “Overlooking Suncadia's freshwater lake and amphitheater, the outdoor leisure pool, whirlpool spa, children's wading pool and poolside dining terrace is a popular gathering place to enjoy the sunshine and fresh mountain air.” “Inside, there's something for everyone: dual water slides, 218 feet and 271 feet in length respectively ('The minimum height required to ride the slides is 42' and all riders must ride solo.'), combination lap and leisure pool with whirlpool spa area, saunas and steam rooms. For personal wellness and keeping fit, the Swim & Fitness Center features state-of-the-art, cardiovascular and strength-training exercise equipment with treadmills, elliptical and step machines, upright and reclining bikes, as well as machine and free weights.” The Suncadia Edge program includes: Self-Parking | Access to the Swim & Fitness Center | Wifi Access | Intra-Resort Shuttle Service | Unlimited Local Calls | Access to the Den at The Lodge; including computers, printer, & board games | Golf Bag Storage | DESTINATION TASTE (changes seasonally) | In-Room Coffee and Tea Bar | Electric Car Charging Stations available (standard charging fees apply)| S'mores Daily at Fire Pit (varies by season) | Exclusive access to use Suncadia catering, meeting and events services and space | Discounted golf rates. Still not enough to do? Good, because we are not done yet. Tennis anyone? Basketball? We provide both tennis and basketball equipment for your party to further enhance your complete vacation experience. How about Ping Pong?! Have you ever played a doubles ping pong tournament? We also have on premises ping pong. Do you like to relax? You can turn the sound system to low, open the windows, lay down and take a nap, or listening to some smooth jazz coupled with the sounds of the local afternoon breeze. BOOKING In general, we prioritize 2-day weekend rentals over 1-day weekend rentals. However, you would like a 1-day weekend stay, inquire with us if this date is available. In addition, please ask about the Suncadia Edge access and associated fee if you are interested. MORE SUNCADIA ACTIVITIES Don’t forget Suncadia’s other recreational activities. Some additional summer activities include boating, jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, white water rafting, fishing, fly fishing, horseback riding, gold panning, bird watching, picnicking, scenic drives, shopping, wineries, and antiquing. Some additional winter activities include on-site inner tube hill, downhill skiing nearby, ice skating, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, bird watching, shopping, wineries, and antiquing. The house was roomy enough for our time together. Everyone enjoyed the "play room". There were not as many beds as indicated, but that was not a real problem. A lot of areas need to be updated. The sofas were worn and filled with crumbs. The fireplace did not work. The oven was small and overheated when we tried to cook a roast. Also, one small oven is not much for a gathering.
However, the location is beautiful; and my family enjoyed the time together very much.

A wonderful home that any large group can enjoy!
The home is comfortably secluded and very well furnished.
It is solid and handled our large group very well.
I noticed the carpet is clean and comfortable and is very high quality.
The owner is reponsible, helpful and communicates promptly.
The owner was receptive to ideas I had that would continue to offer his future guests very memorable experiences.
Thank you.
Sincerely, --Henry Dorn and family

Loved the site and beauty of home. Suprised at condition of things in home......pieces of poopoo in bathroom on toilet brush stand ( had to pick up and clean area)...visible glue holding dining room chair rung together, which did not hold rung together....ping pong paddles that are unuseable on both sides. We took pictures to prove most surprises.
Loved our view of pond and nature and family reunion time.

We had a small 40-person wedding at this location and it was a fantastic place to do it! (We didn't sleep 40 people there of course!). The kitchen is large and well stocked, so many people could be working on food prep at once. Between the balcony, the upstairs seating area and downstairs seating area, and the back yard, we had plenty of room for our guests to spread out. Communication with the property manager was kind and helpful throughout the process of preparing for our wedding, and he took all of our requests respectfully. The only weird thing about the place was that you can only access the bathrooms through people's bedrooms (there is no standalone bathroom), which could be awkward for some people. My friends and family are the type that don't care, so it was fine for us. Just know that if you're sleeping the full 22 people as advertised, the folks using the fold out sofas will need to enter someone else's bedroom if they need to access the bathroom at night. Otherwise, it was a beautiful setting, a large, clean house, and there was clear communication throughout the process. Great experience!

It was a quick trip but the stay was wonderful! Great communication from the host.

Cool Property, less bedding than they advertise. Sound travels very easy from upstairs area to downstairs area

Other than the hot tub not getting hot every thing was perfect

Fun weekend in Suncadia with friends! Overall the house is spacious, with plenty of parking, and a large kitchen which was perfect for our group.
The listing claims it sleeps 22 people, but with the available beds and couches it only actually sleeps 16. Thankfully we brought a few air mattresses.
Not fixable but worth noting: All three bathrooms require you to walk through a bedroom to access, which can be problematic.
The labels in the kitchen are inside the cupboards, which makes it difficult to locate items and/or remember where to put them after washing.
Kitchen/dining table is extremely uneven. We had to remove the table cloth to prevent spilling things all weekend.

This property was the best for our big family more than enough room. This house is perfect for bigger groups wanting all hang out together. We enjoyed our weekend

House looks nice outside, but inside was dirty & many things were missing, not working, or in poor condition. Weirdly, all bathrooms are through a bedroom. The info sheet inside abt the property has the wrong contact info for house management company so requests to address issues were unanswered for almost a full day & owner was also very slow to respond through messaging on VRBO. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived on Fri, they sent someone to service it on Sat afternoon and then it took until Sun evening to get warm enough to use it. The people who serviced the tub said the owner had lower power than advised for the hot tub so it heated slowly and then once it was at heat it lost heat immediately upon use. When I finally attempted to use it on Mon before departure it was 98 degrees (it had been 102 degrees 30 minutes before). Essentially the hot tub was non-functioning. There were no hot tub towels. The owner said towels would be delivered, but they weren't. The couches upstairs & downstairs were dirty -- food, garbage, makeup under the cushions. My 6 yr old found pen15 (VRBO won't let me write out the word) confetti and asked me what it was. The tv remotes upstairs and all the Guitar Hero stuff downstairs didn't have batteries (batteries were the 1 thing that was delivered during our stay, though none of the guitar hero stuff seemed to work). 1 of the bunk beds in the bunk room was so squeaky that no one could use it because if they did no one else in the room could sleep. The coffee pot had a broken lid, there were no measuring cups, some of the dishes in the drawers were dirty (+ dead spiders!), & while there were labels in cabinets very little seemed to be where it was supposed to be. There was a single dish towel. None of the three fireplaces works. The house mgt. people let us know that the owner knows the fireplaces don't work, though they're listed as an amenity. The gas stove vent fan doesn't work. The listing talks all about Suncadia amenities and offers 2 spa trips if you book 3 nights. We called the spa and a single trip is $115. When asked about redeeming the offer, the owner informed me he would reimburse for $100 total if we sent him a spa receipt. Part of the reason we booked the house was the advertised inclusion of spa. I asked owner to address spa credit, all the things missing, broken, or dirty, but he did not. I spent too much of my vacation trying to resolve issues. Worst rental house experience I've ever had.

We had a great time staying in Suncadia. It is a perfect location for playing in the snow and being close enough to the ski resort. We had a few problems with the house but we were able to communicate with the manager about them. The roof leaked and the driveway wasn’t cleared of snow and the Wi-Fi didn’t work but overall it was great. The house accommodated us wonderfully.

My family enjoyed our stay except for a few things. The internet would not work, the two fireplaces in the house did not work either. After messaging the owner, we were informed there were parts being ordered. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. The coffee pot by the refrigerator had a make shift pot that didn’t work to well. The extra coffee pot did not work. There is a skillet that has a broken handle and could be dangerous, it should be replaced.

We had 22 total (10 adults and 12 grandkids) in our family group. The internet listing states it sleeps 22 , but we read enough reviews to take extra air mattresses and sleeping bags to help bunk some of the little ones. There really isn't enough beds to sleep all 22. But we made it work. What didn't work was the wifi internet. That was quickly fixed within a day. The hot tub had just been emptied from the previous renters, and because it is a 110 circuit, it takes 2 days to get up to 100 degrees. So we had one day to use it in our 3 night stay. That was not a major setback, since we paid the extra funds necessary to book one room at the Suncadia Lodge, which gave all of us 2 days access to their pool and hot tubs. Those are awesome, and we used the one night room at Suncadia Lodge) for one couple, which was very nice too. The toaster was missing, but after a call to the maintenance manager, he brought over a new one. There are at least 3 TV's, and when the internet guy fixed the wifi/internet system, he wired the one TV in the main room up via a firestick. The other TV's had no firesticks that worked, which meant that if we had not brought a firestick with us, there was no TV other than in the main room. There is a good collection of DVD's and a DVD player in the family room downstairs. Overall we had a great time, cause we are a close knit family, and didn't mind that two bedrooms shared the same bathroom, which meant that the 8 of us that shared the bunk room, and the family of 5 in the other bedroom adjacent to the same bathroom had to take turns.

Arrived at the property to find the front door unlocked, with no one inside. With only a code to get in the door, we expected it to be secured and safe - not open. Explored the house to find spider webs on the couch downstairs despite the property manager claiming the cleaning crew had spent 4 hours cleaning that day. Didn't smell clean - smelled stale and damp. Nice house - but not as nice as the pictures portray. Tried to communicate with the owner, and they wanted me to track down the management company to resolve it. For a two night stay for our 4 year anniversary - I was not interested in spending the limited time we had together chasing down a management company to ensure the place was cleaned to my satisfaction (which is what the owner had asked of me). We ended up getting a room at the Resort Lodge and never got another word from the owner or management company on a refund of any kind. I even asked for a 50% refund - knowing they could have filled the house with some other poor unsuspecting souls for the weekend, I thought that was fair. But no word and no comms since. I guess if you rent this place know it may have spiders that miraculously build webs on couches in mere hours and that you may not be the only one with the code to the house during your stay. Also if you have trouble, be prepared to spend your vacation tracking down and resolving the issues, cause clearly this group is only interested in the $$ not your actual satisfaction.

The home was much more spacious than the pictures gave off. The bedrooms consist of 4 total bedrooms (1 room w/ 6 bunkbeds, and 3 rooms w/ 1 bed). We had the max of 22 staying at the property and it was spacious enough to sleep everybody comfortably (some had to sleep on sleeping bags on ground/utilize couches around the house). The home was fully equipped with kitchen amenities and whenever we had questions regarding the property, the hosts were extremely quick to respond. Overall a 5/5 experience for my group and I --- I would return here if ever revisiting Suncadia/Cle Elum!

The overall experience was not bad, however there were issues. To get straight to the point, there were 22 of us staying there, and although it was supposed to ''sleep 22", there were people sleeping on couches because there were not enough mattresses. Also, there was a major issue with blankets, not enough blankets to accommodate 22 people. Another BIG issue was the hot tub. If you are going to advertise that you have a hot tub, make you you get a strong enough heater. The heater was so weak, it took three hours for the hot tub to go up 1 degree Fahrenheit. The hot tub never got above 102, and when you get into it to enjoy, the temperature reduced down to 98 within half and hour. The bathroom situations were also very inconvenient. When I messaged the owner, he was prompt to respond, however being far removed he just directed me to the property managers who weren't much help. The fireplace had some issues turning on initially. Also, some of the bunk beds looked really old, like they were bolted together and about to come apart. Advice to the owner, don't skimp and cut costs. Put some money into the property to make this an enjoyable stay for guests. Stronger hot tub heater, more mattresses, more blankets, and newer bunk beds would be a good start. Overall stay was not bad, just these things need to be fixed. Weak hot tub is a nonstarter for most of these winter cabin-like places.

NO REFUNDS! Sleeps 10 only. OK for a summer day gathering
CONS:
* NO REFUNDS! You will never get your deposit back if you need to cancel. No exceptions. Think about that. (you can reschedule if that works for you)
*NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE SLEEPING HERE
* BEDS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SAY! Photos don't match reality. There is no room with 2 queen beds. The second primary room downstairs (no photo in the ad) has a second bed like thing in a closet under the stairs that few would sleep in. The room in the photo that shows a couch/bed - that room has only one bed and it's too small for a second bed if there was one. The room with all the bunks is not as it looks. There are 3 sets of bunk beds crowded in one room. Supposedly 8 people can crowd in here. BED BLOCKS THE FIRE EGRESS window. Don't use fold out beds in living rooms if you need to use a bathroom...
* BATHROOMS - the ONLY bathrooms are accessed through a bedroom. If you are sleeping in a living room, then dont try to pee at night. Also, one bathroom is shared by as many as 8 people in the bunk bed room plus 2 plus people in another adjoining bedroom.
LIVING ROOM: Don't expect to sit comfortably here with more than about 6 people. Those two black chairs in the photo are the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on. Luckily they are not in the LR anymore. There are not enough comfy seats in the LR. This could be remedied to make it seat a few more.
DINING ROOM: Seats for 12 at the table. Plus bar & outside.
FIREPLACE: The Living Room Fireplace did not work when we were there. It started up the first night but kept turning off. It wouldn't turn on at all on the second night.
TOWELS: Not enough towels. And hardly any dishtowels. BYO.
PROS:
* Warrick seems nice enough, and was ok to deal with, except for the lack of refund and issues mentioned above. He responded to questions in a timely and courteous manner.
* Great location if you like Suncadia. Many of the houses at Suncadia are really crowded together. This is less crowded and slightly off the beaten path (if there is such a thing at Suncadia)
* It is a nice place, well equipped, lots of kitchen appliances, extra pantry space off the kitchen so you could have a NICE BIG DAYTIME PARTY HERE - especially if you can spill outside in good weather. (Though, there is not much oven space if you are cooking for a crowd)
- lots of space for the kids to play in the garage. Lots of toys.
- it was clean enough. it was ready when we got here. check in was easy.

The house is set up where you have to walk through a bedroom to get to a bathroom. , it was that way for upstairs and downstairs.
The kitchen comes with everything you would ever need. . Plenty of room for all 17 of us.
The hot tub was a bit Disappointing for us, the kids would get in during the day and the heat wouldn’t recover 5 hours later when the adults wanted to use it. The outside fireplace was beautiful, and we used the gas fire pit for making s’mores, . That was fun for the kids.
We would go back that’s for sure.

We had a great weekend stay in Jan with 14 of us. Lots to do. House is beautiful, few things we were less then happy with, needs more towels, bath and hot tub towels. Hot tub was broken and would not heat they did check on it 2x but not fixed. Hot tubs at main pool were out of order when we went too so not happy to spend the$ on the pool amenities. Need more linens for the extra sleeping spots, we could not find ANY extra blankets and the driveway was very slick. The house has a great lot, kitchen is very nice and well stocked. Overall I would stay again just make sure these few things were addressed before we went. Suncadia is a nice place to get away for a few days.

Neither gas fireplace worked. No toaster, can opener, or other kitchen appliances. Thermostat kept resetting and temperature in the house was always cold.
