The motel has very good potential. The rooms seemed quite new, although small. We didn't have a great stay but it was probably due to issues most guests won't run into.
Like other hotels in the area, this one had switched to heating in Oct and despite a heat wave, couldn't/wouldn't switch back so despite a wall a/c unit (not working), the room was very warm- we tried opening the windows but our room faced the main road so traffic noise was a problem. Not much sleep. Since staff are on site for only a very short period (no formal reception desk), we were given a battery operated gate opener- with a dead battery. After our dinner, if it hadn't been for another guest we would have been locked out with no remedy.
