A gem of a property, and right outside Victoria! Very comfortable home, and a well managed property with everything you need. Fun stuff to do in the area but you won't really need to go anywhere, with the private dock and lovely setting. We hope to be back!

Wonderful place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay. The floating dock was a great place to hang out on a nice summer day. Our kids absolutely loved swimming in the lake and and going for a canoe ride. The house was well appointed, comfortable and clean. Thank you Wendy and Ed for being such great hosts! We would definitely stay there again.

The Lakefront home is peaceful, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and welcoming, as are your hosts, Wendy and Ed. We enjoyed visiting with family who came from Vancouver and many friends living in Langford in the 2 weeks we were there. It is close to everywhere you want to be but secluded in its location. We wanted to get out of the "Artic Vortex" that was affecting most of North America this February and did escape the minus 35 degrees in Alberta as opposed to minus 5 in Victoria with some snow for 3 days only. When we left and returned to Calgary, Feb. 20th, there were 5 foot drifts in our front and back yards and the temperature is going to minus 25 again tonight. We thank you Wendy and Ed for your hospitality and wish to visit again sometime.

The property was beautiful inside and out. My kids loved being on the lake. There is even a canoe that we used and rowed out into the middle of the lake. The house itself is clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the sheets were soft. There is an onsite washer and dryer, and lots of extra amminities. Wendy was a wonderful host. We would absolutely stay here again.

A great place for a family vacation.

This is a beautiful property on Langford Lake. Dock on lake allows good access to swimming, floating, boating. Nearby float makes good destination for swimmers. Hike around Langford Lake provides a vigorous hour's trek. Local shops in Langford make for convenient daily shopping and dining. Drive into Victoria takes only ~20 minutes. This lakefront house worked well for our young girls: bunnies on lawn; otters in the lake; and swimming, swimming, swimming. General amenities of house worked well for all of us.

Great vacation accommodation! Our crew of two seniors, a toddler, and two frazzled parents found a wonderful oasis in the middle of it all. Thanks to Wendy for all her efforts in making our stay so memorable. Hope to see you again sooner than later!

An absolute gem

My wife & I with 2 other couples rent this 3 bedroom house for 5 nights. We were greeted warmly by Ed the owner who was extremely friendly & helpful with orientating us to the house. We were absolutely impressed by the nice lay out of the house which was clean & very well equipped. We all enjoyed the peaceful environment with the house backing on to the lake. You don't really have to go anywhere but to relax in the house is enjoyable. We were later met by the other owner Wendy who was also very friendly & helpful.The house was only about 20 mins drive from downtown Victoria. I would highly recommend this place.
