Situated in Brevard, this charming house for $227 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Master bedroom with queen size bed has en-suite bathroom with 4 ft wide shower stall. Flat screen TV in Master Bedroom. Second bedroom can be set up with 2 or 3 twin beds or a king size bed. Full bath in hall with tub/shower. Large dining room with round dining table that seats six. Plus room for 4 more st side tables. Upright (in tune) piano, desk. Living room with 55" flat screen smart TV, sectional sofa and recliner. Kitchen has stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave plus Keurig coffee maker and drip coffee maker. Calphalon cookware and Hex-Clad frying pans. Blender, toaster, crockpot. Garbage disposal in sink. Weekly curbside garbage pick up on Tuesdays. Curbside recycling pick up on every other Friday. Deck off kitchen with dining table and 4 chairs. Large sitting porch out front with lots of cozy wicker furniture. Bicycle storage outside under deck or inside in laundry room. Heat pump/air conditioning system and gas furnace. Water heater Fantastic location for families as there are sidewalks from front door to downtown shopping areas and to Brevard College. Main County library, two blocks away has outside amphitheater with free music concerts on various dates in the summer and fall. Library concerts are suitable for all age children and adults. Farmer's Market is three blocks away featuring locally grown produce, meat, and eggs. Open 9-Noon Saturday mornings - May. - December. Winter hours 10-Noon January-April. Long driveway has rooms for two cars and a small trailer.

Everything about this property was perfect! The house was spotless, the location was great, and Kevin and Elda were very welcoming and responsive. We come to Brevard frequently, and I would absolutely stay here again!

It was a short walk to the shops and restaurants, but the neighborhood was quiet and calm. The host was very responsive to my inquiries and the check in/out process was seamless.

The cottage is within walking distance to downtown, and a short drive to both Pisgah and Dupont Forests. The cottage was charming, clean, quiet with all the amenities anyone would want.

This lovely house was perfect for our getaway to Brevard. The house itself with lovely, very clean, and very well-cared for with two bedrooms, two baths, a nice kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry room. However, the best features were 1.) the gorgeous gardens surrounding the house, the 2.) two large porches where we spent a lot of our time, and 3.) the location - we could walk around a lovely neighborhood and easily walk on sidewalks all the way to downtown Brevard. We will return to this house
and will highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Love Brevard and the surrounding area. This property is a gem. Could not be more convenient to downtown Brevard. We only used the car to drive to all the hiking trails and waterfalls that are nearby. The house is very comfortable and nicely decorated, situated in a friendly walkable neighborhood.

My husband, and I, from Colorado met with our daughter and son in law, from Clyde, N.C. to visit. This was a lovely house that felt like home. The location was perfect to explore Brevard. My clever son in law musician even entertained us on the piano!

The cottage is clean and well cared for and we stayed perfectly warm during the cold snap (temperatures in the teens). The location is perfect, the house is situated in a mature, walkable neighborhood. We were able to easily walk downtown. Elda was quick with communication and was very helpful if we had any questions. Would definitely go back!

Our eleventh VRBO stay in Brevard was comfortable, safe, charming and convenient. Plus, we had 22 white squirrel sightings, a record for us, just on neighborhood walks. The window light and big white dining table were perfect for me to work on three watercolor paintings, one of the brilliant fall trees. I brought some Hans Zimmer pieces and enjoyed bringing the Story & Clark to life each day, what resonance! We discovered GORGES STATE PARK, hiked there, at Hooker’s Falls, and in DuPont, too chilly for bugs, yay! Downtown and Maple Street right out front had charming Halloween festivities. Kudos!

The house was awesome and such a great neighborhood and location. The porch was great too! Elda and Kevin were amazing and took such good care of us before we got there and during our stay. We were there a little before Halloween so the whole town was decorated for the season. We will be back!

We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to a small family or two couples. It was perfect for my husband and I. We had family in the area that came over for visits.The front porch was a perfect for relaxing, reading, visiting or napping. We really appreciate that our dog was allowed too!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Maple Street bungalow. Elda has really thought about everything one might need during your stay. The house was very cozy and front porch was great for reading and drinking lemonade. Great location for walking to town. Look forward to my next visit.

Enjoyable stay
We have stayed at several homes in the Brevard area over the years. Our trip and 7 day stay in Brevard recently was at the Maple Street Cottage. The home was in an excellent location for walking the neighborhood or the short walk to downtown coffee shops, restaurants and other shops. The cottage supplied everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the front porch and back deck for setting in the morning and evening for sunrises and sunsets. The host was very responsive while scheduling and staying in their home. This stay was very good experience.

We enjoyed the art throughout the home. I never got around to playing the piano. (Probably just as well-it’s been too many years.)
Brevard is close to Pisgah and DuPont National Forests and we enjoyed hiking and checking out several waterfalls.
The communication with the owners was excellent and they take beautiful care of this property. We are frequent VRBO renters and we both agreed that this home is exceptional!
