Situated in Gatlinburg, this charming cabin for $130 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Location, Location, Location! Just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and in the heart of the Arts and Crafts Community. Easy travel with minimal traffic, to and from Pigeon Forge using Stoplight 1, via the National Park. It's a close and easy drive to all area attractions and restaurants, yet tucked away in a nice, quiet private setting. The comfortable sofa is perfect for stretching out in front of the fireplace and watching TV, or reading a good book. It also pulls out to a queen size sleeper with a brand new comfortable mattress. Or you can choose to enjoy a good game of pool. The bedroom is outfitted with real log furniture and a comfortable king sized bed. Also with a spacious bathroom with a private two-person jacuzzi tub. The fully stocked kitchen allows you the option of having a romantic meal at home, where you can also enjoy the warmth of the gas-log fireplace. Plenty of space between neighbors allows for privacy when relaxing in the brand new outdoor hot tub and enjoying the mountain view. Spacious, level yard for outdoor games. Easy access to all attractions, but still private and tucked in the mountains. Level parking area with easy street access. This cabin provides a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free getaway.

This place was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful views from the wrap around porch where you can sit in the hot tub and take it all in. The living room has a pool table and a gas powered fireplace. Comfortable king size bed in the master suite and another hut tub in the bathroom. I highly recommend and we will be making a return visit. 5 out of 5

We had a great weekend getaway. It was the perfect distance from town. Close enough to get there in a couple of minutes, but far enough away to feel in the mountains. We really loved getting to see the Christmas parade...that was an added bonus.

It was a wonderful vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Our cabin was perfect. Well maintained and full stocked with all your kitchen needs. Location was wonderful and the views were spectacular! We will definitely return and book the same cabin.

An excellent place for a couple's getaway. If you go when snow or ice is possible, I definitely recommend driving an AWD or 4WD vehicle as the hills up to the property are rather steep. The hot tub and pool table make for a relaxing evening after enjoying Pigeon Forge.

This property overall was in decent shape. I wish the hot tub had a step, the walls have a lot of damage and could use some TLC. A new couch wouldn’t hurt either, I read the reviews before I booked and it seems like that did get a new mattress. My only complaints are things that do not affect the use of the cabin, I believe it was a good stay for the money we spent.

Cabin is great with a beautiful view. It is nestled in the mountain in a quiet location. Cabin was clean but it does have a bit of a musty smell at first. Dishes have to be washed on the honor system which is no good. Nobody wants to rely on the guest before them who may be in a hurry for the cleanliness of the dishes they are about to eat on. (That’s what the $100+cleaning fee is for) There still is no frying pan or cookie sheets but we brought our own. Pool table is great. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked very clean.
Have fun and drive carefully…those windy mountain roads are no joke!

We had a wonderful stay! It’s was a very nice cabin with a beautiful view! We really felt at home there! It’s in a secluded area but also only 5 minutes from grocery stores/restaurants etc. so it was very convenient. The property owner is great with communication and a quick responder! Everything i was looking for. Great proximity to downtown, quiet, excellent view and easy to relax. Definitely has bear activity as I walked out the front door and saw one in the back of my truck. Would definitively stay here again.

Cabin was cute. Needs new couch, saggy mattress, no frying pans pots were nasty couldn’t use. Kitchen water pressure was bad had to carry water from bathroom to use in kitchen other than that everything else was good 😊

The location of the property is very private compared to most we have stayed in in the past. The cabin was clean and looked like the pictures. We never get in the hot tub but the pool table was fun. Our only complaints are that there was no frying pan so we couldn’t cook breakfast as we had planned and the bed was not comfortable. We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was fine but it is no longer comfortable at this point. The people and the process of renting the cabin was very nice.

Our visit to Tennessee was amazing. The attractions that we attended were a once in a lifetime experience for my husband and I and the memories we made will be with us forever. The cabin that we stayed in(Mountain Joy) was not what we expected. When we walked into the cabin it stunk like mildew and there were a few dead bugs in the bathroom. There was no cookware for us to cook with. The king size bed needs to be replaced because it sinks in the middle as well as the couch that is in the livingroom. This cabin needs to be updated tremendously. We will not be returning to these properties when we visit Tennessee again.

Everything in this cabin was worn out and iin need of a good through cleaning. .. Cupboards were sticky and greasy oven inside dirty.. Poor kitchen utensils pots and pans very cheap. No fry pans or cookie sheets toaster falling apart. Silverware sparse we had tablespoons a few forks and lots of knives. Couch was the only piece of furniture to sit on old and sagging The kitchen table was completely warped . Window treatments were like hanging rag cloths. The mattress was terrible sagging in
the middle. Sheets and towels worn thin spotted and faded. No hair dryer provided. Called owner had to purchase my own. Hot tube was the best feature no step to get in. Porch furniture not safe to sit in screws missing and wobbly. The grass was knee high most of our stay even around the grill. We did enjoy the National Park and this was a short distance from it. It had a pool table in the middle of the living room which we found in the way. No hangers in closets. Borders painted over and peeling up. This cabin needed some TLC! a remodel. This was the worst Vrbo we have rented and so poorly equipped for cooking..

Our experience at Mountain Joy was great. Very clean and pretty easy to find. Super close to all attractions. Only thing that was not the excellent was the bed. We kept rolling into the middle, and didn’t sleep great, which was a bummer. However still a wonderful cabin, great host!

Spent our honeymoon at this cabin and it was perfect! Only 5 minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg and just 5 minutes away from a grocery store and gas station. Seen 3 bears on our first morning there. Will definitely come back again

Was expecting to be in the mountains, but you're really on a small hill just on the edge of town. "Mountain view" pics conveniently cut off the bottom ... houses, lights, roads, telephone wires. House needs a refresher ... wallpaper peeling off walls, horrible paint touch-ups, spots all around, paint peeling bad off outside door jam next to kitchen, WATCH YOUR FEET on patio - old wood with nail heads popping, major water damage on kitchen table, outside lamp above hot tub hanging off side of house. Neighbor's light is WAY too bright. Just a couple thousand bucks and it all could look SO much cleaner and better. Never used fireplace or inside jet tub, so no comment on those. Pool table was fun, bed was comfortable, and hot tub has been nicely upgraded from the little white hot tub in the pics. Location is great ... close to ziplining, skybridge, downtown and hiking. Not horrible, but far from the best I've ever had. Would i come to Gatlinburg again? Yes. Would I stay here again? Sorry ... I'd have to say no.

This is our 5th time staying at this cabin. We absolutely love it. This time we saw 9 black bears on the property and we watched them from the porch. The view from the back porch or the hot tub is amazing. Very nice cabin for a romantic getaway. We will rent again next year.

Thought the cabin and furniture was amazing everything was very clean only problem we had was with lock when we would leave had so much trouble getting it to lock. Seemed like something was loose in it!!

Very welcoming and nicely decorated. Kitchen was great except there were no dish towels or sponges even though dish washing liquid and dish washer packets were provided. Also, it would have been nice if a wine bottle opener would have been provided.
Bathroom was huge and had a jetted hot tub although we didn't use it. Plenty of large bath towels and wash cloths but only one hand towel. Bedroom is nice a large although we found the bed rather soft and not very firm. Kind of rolled towards the center when sleeping on our sides. I liked the pillow but my husband did not. Would be good to have a couple of different pillow options.
We did get the TV to work but it took a while to figure it out so some instructions on how to use it would have been helpful.
We didn't use the outside hot tub because we were so busy doing things else where but I did notice that only one white towel was provided for the out side hot tub and there was a sign to not use the colored towels that were in the bathroom.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and only pointing out some areas that could be improved. We would give the overall rating 4.5.
