Located in Gatlinburg, this charming cabin for $570 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Located in Elk Springs Resort, just past the Arts & Crafts Community in Gatlinburg. This luxury log cabin offers entertainment such as a beautifully equipped home theater room and a pool table, air hockey, High Speed wireless internet access and hot tub on the deck. Did we forget to mention the gas grill on the deck? There is a separate game room on the upper level adjoining the theater room so the kids can gather and play upstairs, while the adults congregate downstairs on the main level with full kitchen, living room and dining room. An equipped kitchen and washer and dryer are included for your convenience. Informed that check in was going to be delayed- so we rearranged our plans. Then shortly after was informed that check in was no longer delayed. Informed the dryer didn’t work 1 hour before check in. We had 15 people including an infant and was unable to wash towels during our stay or any clothing. There was trash underneath one of the beds and the pull out couch linens had not been changed from previous stay.

We felt the living room furniture needed replaced. It was very soft. Also, the cabin needed more trash cans in the bedrooms and game rooms. IT Nice views and porches. Check in and out was very easy.

The drive to the cabin was very curvy but not horrible. The jack and jill bathroom downstairs has a very bad smell the dryer didn't work well the coffee pot had a used filter in it when we got there the ice maker was stopped up the downstairs door out to the hot tub was not locked when we arrived hot tub needed to be cleaned better and the pool table and air hockey table could stand to be updated also not many pots and pans for a big group and one of the pots was burnt in the bottom we also were disappointed that the cabin wasn't decorated for Christmas as most are when we go but overall it wasn't bad and all these things wouldn't stop us from staying again I'd just say that it needs some updating and give more attention to detail and with large groups staying there it needed more pots and pans and bigger size pots and pans i made chili one night and ended up having to go buy a pot that was big enough

Started with criminal activity with ZERO cameras at the entrance / exit points of the property. Cameras would (1) DETER this activity and (2) Give guests a chance to let law enforcement provide assistance. Rain made the vacation week less than ideal, but the actual property where we stayed was nice and clean and everything worked. Our family made lemonade out of the lemons we were dealt and enjoyed our time in the Gatlinburg area.I will never stay in an area / resort like this that doesn’t at least have security cameras at the entrances/exits of the property. What a splendid location! Tucked in the lovely foothills of the Smoky Mountains and away from the crowds of downtown Gatlinburg, Fire in the Sky perfectly suited our group of seven. Separate bedrooms with ensuites are such a plus, and the meandering wraparound porch provided a wonderful way to enjoy the falls colors and mountain air. The "cabin's" kitchen has a good supply of dishwater, etc. and pots & pans. The hot tub was a nice treat and being able to hook up our Roku to the home theatre was a definite plus. The location also provided easy access to several arts and crafts shopping areas outside of the downtown area, and a grocery store was conveniently nearby. Just a few quibbles: bath linens were a bit thin so maybe an investment in some that are more absorbent would be good. And, the kitchen cabinet doors were sticky and seemed to be in need of a good wash down with hot water and soap. Another chair in the living room would have been nice (we brought a rocker in from the porch), and both couches were well used as you really sunk down into them! But, when property management was informed of a missing shower liner and light bulb the night we arrived, replacement took place the very next morning. And tie backs with finials on all the living and dining room curtains would be great - it was a bit of a miss mash currently. But, all in all, we enjoyed our five night stay in the beautiful Elk Springs Resort.

Two bed was with no sheets, kitchen had no pots to cook in, the smell of the kitchen was the worst once we got it, it smelled like there was boiled eggs. There was a wolf at night tried to get in the cabin while the kids were playing upstairs we had to scare him off the kids didn’t sleep all night!! The hot tub was dirty with spiders all over!! Hockey table needs to be replaced it was broken!!! We had the worst 2 nights in this cabin!!!!

This rental was as described. It was clean and maintained. One thing that was a little challenging was the narrow winding road to get to the resort. Restaurants and shopping were about 20-30 minutes away again on narrow winding roads. I would recommend to others and I believe I would make a return visit. Customer service always provided updates and helpful information.

We arrived and everything was beautiful. The main area was perfect! We spent a lot of time in there laughing, playing games and eating. We utilized all the space. The movie room worked perfectly and we had no problems connecting our laptop. I received a call the morning that we arrived and the next day, asking if everything was okay. I thought that was considerate and great customer service. The only pieces of feedback I would give is that the kitchen sink leaked and I called and they came right over and the counch is a bit worn and could use an upgrade. He told me they know the sink was a problem and they were waiting on a part to come in. We have no complaints and we will be booking our next years trip with them.

Property has many nice amenities….the theater and the fireplace had some issues when we arrived but management took care of these problems quickly and efficiently. The hot tub was very clean (no suds or scum!) The beds were VERY comfortable. Our group of siblings (age range 64-78) spent a wonderful week visiting Gatlinburg and enjoying the fall foliage in the Great Smoky Mountains…..we were disappointed in that we never saw a bear. Maybe next time! We enjoyed our visit to Fire in the Sky very much .

We were able to relax and enjoy the experience! The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of room/space for nine people. As a family, we cooked, barbequed, and bonded with each other. Plus, restaurants, stores, shops, and tourist spots were within 20 mins. *Just make sure you bring your own tissue, bath soap, dishwasher tablets or liquid. And call for garbage pickup, in advance, if you have a large group (they do not pick it up daily). Because, it appears a bear still broke into the locked garbage container near our cabin. And, take your time going up/down the hills getting to the cabins, especially at night.* Even so, I would recommend Elk Springs Resort. Because we really had a great time!!

Fire in the Sky accomplished exactly what we needed for a large group during a wedding weekend. Management company was responsive to our every need and were quick to respond. The property was as advertised. The condition was in line for the level of money spent in comparison to the many resorts around the area. Quiet, wooded, and isolated from others in the resort. The property was clean however there were no window coverings over the front of the house. They didn't provide trash bags for the kitchen, so bring your own bags and toilet paper. Those are little things buy it makes a difference when considering returning. The company was very responsive to request.
