This upscale townhouse in Rockaway Beach is just a few steps from the beach, is dog-friendly, and has space for a large group of 10 people! Located right next to the sand and easily walkable to a few restaurants and cafes in town, this house is a great place to take a beach-focused vacation spend exploring the coastline, building sandcastles, flying kites, and watching the majestic ocean. Within Rockaway Beach you will find eateries and small shops, and you could easily drive 20 minutes to Tillamook to visit its famous cheese factory and larger variety of shops and restaurants. With two bedrooms (one has a king and a twin-over-twin bunk, and the second has a queen and a full-over-full bunk), a futon, and a sofabed, up to 10 guests will stay comfortably in this lovely home. You are welcome to bring your small and medium dogs with you (under 40 pounds, please), though a nightly fee does apply. You and your guests will love sitting in the large living room, staring out at the ocean, gazing at the cozy wood fireplace, or watching cable TV or DVDs together. A full kitchen has all the tools you may need to cook up meals during your stay, which you can enjoy at the dining room table, breakfast bar, or even outside on the patio! With Internet access and a laundry area, you will have all the comforts of home here. Head outside to the patio to find a gas grill and seating where you can relax and watch the sun set over the horizon, or strike up a game of Ping-Pong in the garage. This comfortable home is a fantastic place to bring your family or friends to enjoy a beach getaway together. Rockaway Beach is not a large coastal town, but it has no shortage of charm. If you want to visit a larger coastal city, drive north about 45 minutes to reach Seaside, or south just 20 minutes to Tillamook. Enjoy a truly beachfront location when you stay at this welcoming and comfortable vacation home in lovely Rockaway Beach! If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. This is our favorite place to stay on the coast. Just a few steps and you’re on the beach with lots to explore. The home is comfortable and we love that it is so well equipped- we always use the BBQ and have never had to worry about not having propane. Manager was very quick to respond when we had any questions.

It’s a beautiful home and has many wonderful touches. Best beach access I’ve ever had at a rental. The carpeting needs to be deep cleaned. It looks like many dogs have had a few accidents on it.

We loved the views and private beach access. So great for the children and all of us to just step out the door and onto the beach! We loved the house, which was great for all our needs. A lovely comfortable home. It was also walking distance to the town.

Had a great stay at this perfect location on the beach. Comfortable beds, clean & well stocked, this townhome is perfectly located with great views & immediate beach access. The Rockaway area is a quiet family location with close proximity to other beautiful areas such as Manzanita & Cannon Beach. There was 1 issue of outside trash containers overflowing with trash from previous renters due to the lack of removal on trash day. The Property Management was notified but not concerned. Other than that had a great time & would consider coming back!

Such a perfect location for beach access, stunning ocean views, as well as proximity to shops, restaurants, coffee, and ice cream! The house, too, is comfortable, well-stocked, nicely decorated and cozy. We had such a memorable stay and would definitely love to return to Surf's Edge!

We had a great time staying here. The view and location were amazing! They had everything you need for families including things for children. We only wish they would update some things. The upstairs tub did not drain very well, the shower curtains need to be replaced, there was lots of dust on the blinds and some decorations. It also needs a deep cleaning. There was lots of stuff underneath the couch. Overall, we had a good stay.

This was a wonderful oceanfront home! We stayed during the 4th week. The fireworks were beautiful and the town of Rockaway is very cute and quaint. Highly recommend this home!

The house and beach are beautiful... I booked the house for two nights. Unfortunately the last night of my stay turned into a sleepless nightmare when I was locked out all night. I was forced to accept sleeping on the cold cement porch in my tshirt and pajamas. I used a chair pillow to lay on and attempted to block the wind from the ocean with the outdoor chair. I am trying to forget the horrible night. However, I'm still so sad as I'm traumatized by my experience last weekend. My only advice would be change the back door lock so it only includes the deadbolt to prevent this from happening again to another guest. The irony of having 6 beds inside yet there I was attempting to sleep curled up on the floor aside the house to try and stay warm!! 😭

We had a couple of glitches and found Vacasa very responsive and helpful! We are making plans for our next visit to Surf's Edge !!

Allowed us to check in early, property was clean and as explained. There were plenty of beach toys and stuffed animals that kept our two-year old busy. Access to the beach was great and the Sandy area just off the patio was perfect for our daughter. We could see the sunset from the property each night and the location was easy to walk to coffee and restaurants.

As Advertised. Owners obviously care about their guests. Loved the giant beach towel display. Be careful on steps to the beach. Deadbolt on door to beach impossible to lock. Property seems well suited for two families with 2-3 young kids each. We saw boat rentals north of the property to reach the bay and inland waterways. Would consider staying here again.

This was just as advertised! Plenty of room for our whole family to enjoy.
We only had 1 safety concern with the white bunk bed. The ladder isn’t anchored on and our little one took a tumble. So we were unable to use that top bunk.

Everything was great!! Unbelievable how much space we had. Just my husband and I stayed the first night and the second night a couple of our friends from Portland and their 2 year old stayed as well. Unfortunately the weather was brutal the first night - but that’s no fault of the place. We enjoyed a fire, a morning walk the next day and dinner in town.

We’ve been vacationing at Rockaway Beach for the past 15 years, and this home ticked all the boxes. Very nicely finished and maintained, the kitchen is well stocked with everything a chef would want, the appliances are in good order, the beds are nice and firm. The view and location are exceptional. We will be booking a return visit.
