Located in Wailea, this charming condo for $162 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome to our tastefully renovated and decorated Kihei Akahi studio D-301, that we affectionately call “Our Pearl”. Kihei Akahi is located directly across from three of South Maui’s most beautiful beaches, Kamaole I, II and III. All three of the Kamaole beaches have lifeguards, showers and restroom facilities and are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding/body surfing, walking, playing volleyball or just hanging out and enjoying the warm sun, perfect water, swimming with giant sea turtles and watching the magnificent whales from late December to early May. What sets our studio apart from the other studios at Kihei Akahi are the upgraded polarized dual pane vinyl windows (no jalousies) and a dishwasher (only studio to have a dishwasher). The Kihei Akahi complex has beautifully maintained grounds, two pools, bbq grills, a tennis court and is centrally located within walking distance to several fine restaurants, shopping and activity centers. Our condo is located at the back of the complex away from the road noise and has a private feeling with great views. From our private lanai you have the benefit of 180 degree views of ocean, the island of Lanai, stunning sunsets during the summer, West Maui Mountains, sun and moon rises and the leeward slopes of the mighty Haleakala. Being a corner unit, the additional side window provides good light, views of Haleakala and a wonderful breeze that flows through our condo. You will have the most comfortable and relaxed stay in our condo. We have updated our unit with new decor and furnishings: a dining table that can seat 4, a Beautyrest World Class Brentford Luxury Firm Queen Size Bed, a sofa, a comfy chair, a lanai set and a beautiful custom made tv armoire that has 2 closets and drawers for your clothes as well as extra storage space for your luggage when you unpack and settle in. For your indoor entertainment, we have a 39' hdtv and a dvd player. There is a hanging pot rack with a full set of cookware and the gas range is great to cook on with a microwave/fan/light above it. In addition to a coffee maker (we provide the filters), there is a tea pot, a blender, a toaster oven and a spice rack complete with spices. The refrigerator is full size and we are the only studio in Kihei Akahi that has a dishwasher. When you head out to the beach there are 2 Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs for you to use, a Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, beach towels and a cooler with wheels. Truly wish we could give more than five stars. To begin with the communication with the owners has been exceptional. Then our first night here we got in late, the kindest security guard met us in the parking lot and helped us locate our parking spot and made sure we got to where we needed to be. The front office staff were very kind and helpful. The property is exactly what is in the listing. Everything was perfect. We even scheduled another trip back here for the Spring. This set the bar for me for VRBO.

This was the perfect place to stay - beautiful view, quiet and peaceful (birds singing all day), close to the beach, pools, walking distance to restaurants, and the condo has everything you could want, including a full kitchen, laundry, and all the beach gear--chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, coolers. She thought of everything! Perfect Maui stay!

This very roomy studio has everything you need for your stay in Maui. One of the best beaches is a 5 minute walk away. We cooked most of our own meals as the Saturday farmer market down the road had lots of fresh produce. There is an organic grocery store a 10 minute walk away as well. Plenty of towels and a change of sheets are available and beach chairs and coolers...even lanterns if you go to see the sunrise at Haleakala (bring a winter coat!). Myna birds roost next to the condo at sunset each evening. There is a cacophony of activity. We loved it. However, the birds are active at night as well from time to time as are the roosters. With the a/c on you can't hear them. I, personally loved listening to the birds, that's part of the reason I love Hawaii so much. Becky was lovely to deal with. Thank you for letting us stay at your condo.

This condo might be small but the owners have maximized the space and storage so you have everything you need and it feels larger than it is. It was great to have an actual queen size bed with night tables in a studio apartment. The owners provide meticulous instructions about the unit and the resort so finding things was very easy. The beach chairs and umbrella looked new. Contacting the owners was also very easy.
The unit is on the quieter side of the building with 190 degree spectacular views of West Maui and Mount Haleakala (and a sliver of the ocean).
The resort is in a great location, across from KAM II with many shops and restaurants within a 15 min. walk.
Would definitely rent this unit again.

The most amazing thing about the property is the ocean view from the lanai. I knew it had one from the pictures but it's much better in person. We watched the sunset from there looking for the green spark. The place is clean and comfortable and comes packed with a lot extra things you can use to help ease your trip. I recommend it to any single person or couple looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Becky and mark are terrific hosts, communicate well, and provide everything you need, including beach chairs, umbrella, and towels. The property was perfect, great location. We cooked breakfast every morning before we left to explore. Across the street from the beach, beautiful sunsets. Easy walking distance to several restaurants and stores. Easy access to the highway for all the sightseeing we did.

The lanai at this condo has privacy with no one next to you :) I really enjoyed sitting out there morning and night. My favorite spot! Owners were so amazing to work with. Easy easy check in process. Questions were answered very quickly. Highly recommend this condo.

The condo is in the heart of South Kihei and is in walking distance to key beaches, stores, restaurants. Becky and Mark have created a cozy nest, feathered with thoughtful amenities and necessities. Since it is at the end of the building, no human chatter is heard at all... just the symphony of our avian neighbours.

The property was perfect and exactly what we we’re hoping for. We had everything we needed to be comfortable plus more. Everything is Very clean with a comfortable bed and couch. The view from the lanai was very good and facing the beach, the location was excellent and just a quick walk across the street for swimming and snorkeling and also a good location to walk for something to eat or drink as well. We will definitely be calling again for future visits.

First I want to say that Kihei was an awesome place to stay on Maui. The vibe was laid back, the people were friendly, the amenities around town were top notch without resort prices. I highly recommend it!
As for the condo, it was perfect. Great location, great views, fully stocked and comfortable. Check in was easy and thorough. I didn’t have to reach out to the owners at all because I had everything I needed, instructions and all. But prior to my stay, communication with the owners was always answered quickly and friendly. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable (I did have to do some work), the kitchen had everything I needed to cook and save leftovers, the water pressure was great in the shower, the washer dryer was so helpful on my long trip, and the living room had built ins for all my stuff to stay organized. The condo complex was clean, felt safe, and so close to everything (beach, restaurants, liquor store, there’s even a 5-star rated spa just around the corner). A quick drive to Wailea gets you to that high-end resort town with more shopping and restaurants. Several of my excursions left from Wailea so that made it super easy as well.
Bottom line, if this condo is available for your dates, book it now because it is absolutely worth it!

The physical location away from the road allows for more peace and quiet to enjoy the birds and plants and we were able to explore farmer's markets and hiking trails, all within a 35 minute drive. After a fun filled day, we end up at Kamaole Beach II to watch the sun set, then, return to our well appointed residence and reflect on the day's awesomeness. 10/10 would recommend!
