We were provided with everything… and more than we needed. My daughter and son in law from Florida, with two children in tow, could not have been more thrilled that they didn’t have to pack towels,toys,bedding etc. also true for my other two adult kids who also had 2 children each . From sun up til sundown, everyday was spent on the beach. There is no finer location in Cape May Point… we’re all convinced of that! The pathway to the beach provided hours of fun for the children… climbing trees and looking for treasure!! Every night we enjoyed dinner together on the screened in back porch, which had ample room….
then upstairs to the beautiful porches to enjoys the stars as the kids fell asleep one by one.
This house was a perfect fit for our family!

This house is incredible! It fit our family reunion perfectly. The bedrooms are outfitted with great mattresses and wonderful sheets, and plenty of bath and beach towels. The upstairs is a fantastic addition with an extra living room and TV and a nice cold kitchen area for lunches and cocktails. Downstairs, the great room and screen porch were so very appreciated. The kitchen was outfitted with excellent tools and pots and worked really well for multiple cooks. And the location! The dunes have grown so beautifully in Cape May Point and we were just a dune away from a very quiet beach - right next to the volley ball beach which made our grown up kids very happy. I have been coming to Cape May since a child and to Cape May Point for 20+ years and this was the very best house and location!

We had a wonderful week staying at this beautiful home. We were two families sharing the home which was very spacious for our group with the two levels of living space. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals. The location to the very quiet and beach is wonderful. Bikes , chairs and everything you need to for a perfect vacation was provided. The property manage was very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to be back again next summer.

Cape May Point Family Fun
The family friendly home was perfect for my children and my grandchildren. The garage included bikes, shuffleboard, balls, and beach toys. Towels & bedding were included which was important for family who flew in from California & Colorado. The beach path was next to our house and the ocean just over the dunes. Beautiful beach and sunsets!

As for the house, the owners provide pretty much everything from beach toys for the kids (plenty) and towels.
Just beware of the shuffleboard in the garage... you can easily spend your whole day there instead of the beach...

I don't have enough superlatives to do it justice. It is just superb in every way for a large family. It is directly on the beach (the perfect beach for small children)! It is in Cape May Point ( the perfect beach community for small children)! It is huge (6 big bedrooms and plenty of room to get away from small children)! It is TOTALLY equipped (it does need a better wine opener). It is close to the store (great for small children)! It is close to the lighthouse and bird walk (great to get away from small children). It was spotless when we arrived (contrary to some other reviews). It is everything you could possibly want in a vacation beach house. Towels, beach toys, bikes, games, binoculars, we really didn't need to bring anything except ourselves and a bathing suit (and a cork screw). And all the children loved it, especially the big ones.
If you need a large place on the beach this is a magnificent choice.

This is our third time renting this house. Our first two times were vastly different than our third......and likely last. The house was not clean and had ants in the kitchen. When we told the owner, we were simply told there's bug spray in the closet. We did not raise the lack of cleanliness when we checked in, this was a mistake. We left the house much cleaner than we found it. Subsequent to our departure we were accused of excessive nighttime noise, breaking items in the house, and leaving the house very dirty, all fundamentally untrue. We cleaned the house prior to our departure. Additionally, there's a "cleaning crew", who is supposed to clean the house. As to the noise, we were in bed at or before 10pm each night. Further, my parents, who are over 70 were staying as well. This accusation was a falsehood and only came up after our departure. Lastly, we were accused of having excessive trash. The trash area is unsuitable for a house this size. I am at a loss as to how to limit trash for 15+ people. All of our trash was in the limited trash cans or large garbage bags, so I am not clear on the issue. If you are going to rent this house, I would recommend documenting every blemish, and flaw otherwise you risk being errantly financially accountable. We were very disappointed in our dealings with the owner. The house may seem like a great deal, renters beware.

Best Beach House By Far
We have been vacationing at our beloved Cape May Point for the past 30 years and "Laughing Pines" was absolutely the best rental property ever. The location was what first attracted us -nestled in the dunes with a semi-private path to the beach - no street lights between you and the Atlantic, amazing! The house itself accommodated our multi-generational family very nicely. Lovely bedrooms, comfy living rooms, a cook's kitchen and second floor deck which we congregated on constantly! The amenities were incredible: beach toys, bikes, telescope, linens, grill, etc! The owner was extremely responsive to our needs. We did not want to leave and will definitely be back...

A Great place to Relax
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very inviting, and we found everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for both families to spread out in the house, so we weren't on top of each other. My favorite spot was on the 2nd floor balcony, a chair in the shade where I could read outside and enjoy the view. Being able to walk to the water in just seconds was a big plus, not a big deal if you forgot something and had to go back to the house. Cape May Point was quiet and relaxing, and plenty of shops restaurants and activities were close by.

Perfect vacation spot
Our stay at this lovely beach house gave us memories to last a long time. The house is perfect for families because of the easy access to the beach, and the views of the sunsets are amazing. Checking in and out during our stay was a breeze, and we were made to feel right at home. I'm looking forward to coming back next summer and for many more to come!

This home was ALL and more than we were hoping for. The location was perfect as it was only a short stroll down the path to a very beautiful and uncrowded beach.....and yet it had lifegaurds on duty each day. We were close enough that the 3 and 2 year olds could be taken back to the house for naps and all of the beach gear could stay, untouched by others. The house is gorgeous, well kept and very homey! 2 kitchens made life easier and we could be spread out. The neighborhood was great for riding bikes and it was only a short jaunt into Cape May Proper. The owners were more than accomodating, as well as prompt with any questions we had. Anyone that wants pampered by beautiful surroundings, we can't forget the gorgeous sunsets, this is a wonderful home to rent!

A great week in a beautiful home and a wonderful location
We've been vacationing in Cape May Point for years; this was one of the nicest places we've stayed. It’s really a one of a kind… 6 bedrooms, upscale and comfortable with every possible amenity/convenience and a path directly to the beach. Our kids are now young adults and they spent many evenings on the upper deck talking into the night. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Spectacular!
As soon as you see the water you become immediately relaxed. Beautiful decor and Luxury Kitchen, make this an easy place to get used to. A home feel. Sunsets are spectacular on the upper deck, and the ocean breezes are perfect. So close to the ocean. Wish I was there again right now.

I Love This House!
This truly is a wonderful house for a nice, relaxing get-away. Since it is nestled in the sand at the tip of Cape May Point, it is just steps away from the beach, where you can go swimming or take a long relaxing walk around Cape May Point. There's even an outdoor shower to wash the sand away before you enter the house. Relaxing on the upper deck and watching the gorgeous sunsets is a great way to ease into evening. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner, but if you'd rather eat out, there are many delicious restaurants in town to choose from. The house is tastefully decorated and is very comfortable. Since it is a large house with 6 bedrooms, there is a lot of space for your family and friends to spread out and be very comfortable. My family and I love it here and we can't wait to go back.

A True Second Home!
This beautiful house on Cape May Point has gone through a transformation over the years and is updated to top shelf! The many bedrooms are cozy but inviting and the living areas are plentiful and open- both upstairs and down. Whether a dinner on the deck or breakfast on the downstairs porch, every meal is comfortable with great views. The outdoor shower I couldn't live without after a day on the beach just at the end of the path. The Point is very relaxed but still activities abound- games on "the circle", climbing the lighthouse, visiting the duck pond, going to the Sunken Ship. "In town" Cape May is only a bike ride away. Truly a second home- enjoy!

Private, quiet, pristine... steps away from the fishermans path which leads to the beautiful beach. The sunset view from the upper deck is incomparable....The pictures reflect the interior to a "T"....
I would highly recommend this property, and would hope to rent it again.
