About this cottage rental
Cozy Adirondack style cabin with knotty pine paneling in living room with comfortable denim sofa and chair and a full size futon perfect for one. Adirondack dining set for 3 sits in front of a lake scene wall mural. Bedroom with Cathedral ceiling includes a Queen size bed, ceiling fan and expansive windows over looking the lake. Cedar paneled small but functional bathroom with corner shower. Full Kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Multiple decks, and pergola dining area overlooking the Lake with gas grill. Large floating Dock at lakeside is perfect for swimming, sunning and fishing. Front yard has abundant flowers and Koi pond. Peaceful, quiet and only minutes from Interstate 88 and Downtown Oneonta; 15 minutes to Cooperstown All Star Village 20 minutes from Cooperstown with Baseball and Museums to explore. Linens provided. Kayaks are available to use. Private entrance ( owners on premise) and parking for one car. Heat and Air Conditioned. ***SUMMERS: we have a 6 day minimum scheduled for guests staying at Cooperstown All Star Village only.

From the moment I reached out to request to stay at the property, the communication was immediately with kindness and willingness to assist with any questions or needs. The check in was smooth, we were greeted directly as Jeff and Lisetta live right next door to the rental space, but they remain separated by an attached entry hall as a separate entrance, and keep very private for the duration of the stay. The lake house is so peaceful and quiet, with all the amenities required for a lakefront getaway. The bed and rooms were very comfortable and cozy. The location is ideal for hiking on nearby trails, for kayaking (they supply their kayaks for use) as well as for basking on the deck for quiet reflection, reading or eating at the table on the lower deck lakeside. The view is lovely. Upon check out we were even offered freshly baked granola by Lisetta to have our final morning- which was a kind gesture and added to the charm and character of the detailed decoration of the cabin. We had a few rainy and damp days, so there is a fireplace that was just perfect to side and warm up near and to read indoors curled aside. All around this is the perfect lakefront getaway… and very close to Oneonta as well as to Cooperstown to visit the hall of fame. Wonderful stay! Thank you!!!

Met all of our needs. A full kitchen, nice lake view, bonus was the kayaks on site along with life jackets. A very tranquil stay beginning with the fountain and koi pond as you enter the property. Jeff and Lisetta were great with communicating and checking in if we needed anything. Also, very kind of them to let us know there was no one coming in for a few days and to take our time on checkout. Took advantage of that and the good weather with kayaking on Goodyear Lake!

The property was as expected and a good spot for those going to Cooperstown Dream Park. The bathroom was very tiny but clean. Despite low ceilings, the whole space was not at all cramped and was quite cozy. The absolute best part was the deck and views of the lake right outside.
