About this house rental
This beautiful 3 story custom built log home is available again this summer. GreyWood is located in a wonderful location with nearby views of Glacier National Park. It is situated on 3 acres of meadows, a large lawn and a live stream which runs through the property . Spacious wrap around decks and covered porches give everyone in your group privacy and room for your gatherings. 20' cathedral ceilings and expansive windows enhance your views of the mountains. Ample on-site parking is available for 4 vehicles. Ask about the separate fully furnished, apartment, downstairs, for GreyWood booking guests only! Additional fee is required. GreyWood is adjacent to the Glacier Park Lodge golf course and is also within close walking distance to art galleries, gift shops, restaurants and grocery stores. A convenient trailhead into GNP is merely 10 minutes walking from the front door. The massive historic Glacier Park Lodge and its famous flower gardens, park presentations and fine dining are a few blocks down the street. The recently renovated log train depot adjacent to the Lodge boosts a colorful history of East Glacier Park’s beginnings. This is a fully functioning station servicing Amtrack with destinations to Whitefish, Seattle, and Chicago. A short drive north allows you access into three entrances into GNP: Two Medicine, St. Mary's (Going-to-the Sun Road), and Many Glacier Hotel. Some guests even enjoy crossing the border into Canada and visiting Waterton National Park. Tana’s house was perfect for our group of 8 adults (4 couples.) The basement apartment is a great perk. As it allowed us to invite a 4th couple to join us. The house is beautiful, with a lot of amenities. We had everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were very comfortable. We were gone most of the day hiking. So we didn’t have time to enjoy the wonderful outdoor space. We would definitely stay at Tana’s house again.

This is a lovely property in a quaint village. The kitchen has every convenience needed. Tana is a great host. She responded quickly to any question.

The house was amazing and located close to the park's east side entrances. We stayed here with family and had plenty of room for two kids and four adults to eat sleep and play. The large decks were great for grilling and relaxing and the huge living room was great for card games and family fun. We can't recommend this place enough. It was beautiful, clean, and the owner, Tana was super responsive and a great host!

We enjoyed our stay at Graywood. We were greeted with a yummy fruit pie made by a local baker to share at our family reunion. Such a thoughtful touch. The view and setting are exceptional. The child gates were a plus as we had a 2 year old in our party. The dishwasher was not functional most of our stay, but the owner Tana R. Was able to get it fixed the last day of our stay, which made clean up easier. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Place was awesome. Tons of space and perfect location. Great views just outside of the park while still having the convenience of being in East Glacier. We will definitely be booking on our next trip out.

Tana’s home was the perfect location for the Glacier Half Marathon and our group of 10 friends (used her finished basement).
The home is more beautiful in person and spotless! The front deck for dinner and the back porch were ideal and lovely. Kitchen is very well stocked.
We ran by the house on Mile 12! The home is located 1.5 hours away from Logan Pass and Many Glacier Hotel. 4 min walk to East Glacier Lodge.

Great location for visiting Glacier NP. The home was clean and had all the necessities and then some. The home is situated at the top of a slope where a creek runs and you can see the mountains from the back porch. There is a golf green on one side and neighbors on another. The view from the main room was creek, trees and mountains. A really lovely spot. What really stood out to me was this, I reached out to the host to see about a baby gate for the stay since I have a 1 year old. She went out of her way to purchase and install the gates prior to our arrival. Just thoughtful and helped me relax a little while we were staying there. I would definitely stay here again. Glacier has so much to offer and I found this place to be the perfect hub.

We couldn’t say enough about this home. So much room to relax inside and out. The views are So beautiful and this home was comfortable for all of us. Slept like babies. Love it!

This place was a absolutely PERFECT in every way! We stayed here for my daughters wedding and the views, the house and the owner were nothing short of incredible! I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful location! Thank you so much!

Beautiful setting. Awesome view of Glacier NP and the surrounding Rockies. Lovely clean house. We enjoyed listening to the creek right off of the back deck and watching the sun set over the mountains. Very nice bed in the master and high quality linens. We will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your home.

East Glacier Retreat
Beautiful setting. Awesome view of Glacier NP and the surrounding Rockies. Lovely clean house. We enjoyed listening to the creek right off of the back deck and watching the sun set over the mountains. Very nice bed in the master and high quality linens. We will definitely be back. Our kids live in NY and Las Vegas and we live in Texas. We try to vacation with them every year or two. This has been our favorite trip so far. The house was a perfect jumping off spot to visit Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, and Columbia Falls.
The house itself is beautiful, was spotless, and the setting was perfect. There was a stream in the back of the house and I enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the sounds of the water, so relaxing. We loved sitting on the deck viewing the stars, just amazing. The apartment downstairs was perfect. My sister and her boyfriend stayed in it. It was as beautiful as the rest of the house. You can tell the owners love this house.
Tana was very friendly, informative, and went out of her way to make sure our stay was wonderful.

Greenwood stay - E. Glacier
Given that Glacier is so big and our focus was hiking and fishing,, the East side was perfect for our family. Kitchen and home was very well outfitted, clean, and the nice laundry room was quite helpful after the hikes and one day of rain. We cooked nearly every night and had all we needed. Host Tana was great in corresponding to my questions. Everyone love the place, we only wish we hand't cut our stay to just 4 days as we needed 2 more days to explore more of the park. We would definitely recommend Greywood for a larger group that still needs some space :)

Amazing home!
Perfect location for access to Glacier National Park!
The house is extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed spending time on the private back deck with an awesome view. The open floor plan was perfect and felt spacious even with seven adults.
Tana is an excellent host - always communicated promptly and offered helpful updates for our trip. Highly recommend this property!

Greywood is right in the heart of East Glacier Village and was the perfect spot for us to maximize our exploration of the East side of the park. The property is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The setting is magnificent and Tana is a great host. Family and Friends Vacation in Glacier National Park
This is the best property we have rented via VRBO! The accommodations were excellent, I would highly recommend it! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures. We especially enjoyed the outdoor decks. The views were unbelievable during daylight and starlight! Tana was great, she even brought us over bear spray to use while we were hiking. If you have an extra large group, I would recommend the private suite downstairs as well. Our friends joined us for the trip, and liked having their own suite, complete with their own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen,

Beautiful home and property so close to 2 Medicine Lake
Every member of our group was so comfortable in this beautiful home, and the property was ideal. We had dinner on the front deck one night, and we had coffee on the back deck every morning. Everywhere you look there are beautiful flowers in bloom. We walked down to the creek in the back yard almost every day, stopping to pick wild blueberries on the way down the hill. I wish I would have taken more photos of the interior of the home because the furnishings and art were perfect, and there is so much natural light that pours in from lots of large windows. We had great weather and lots of scheduled activities, but we would have all been happy to spend more time visiting at the house. I may find my way back to Glacier National Park some day, and I would be lucky to get this rental the next time.

The house is a huge log cabin with all the comforts of home. The fully stocked kitchen is modern and has every gadget you can imagine. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient for entry to Glacier NF and Browning, yet it was on a quiet street away from the main road.
