Viewpoint Boutique Living

- Location. It is 1-minute drive to Xlendi harbour. This area includes a selection of restaurants, hiking, viewpoints, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, and you can take a boat from here to Comino (which is way better than taking it from the main harbour in Gozo). - The property was clean, and well managed. The staff are friendly. - The breakfast is great. I love the sustainability aspect of it. Buffets have become an industry standard, but at a boutique hotel, they can still provide a more personalised experience that's also less wasteful. - My biggest regret of my trip is that I didn't make this my primary base during my trip. Gozo is definitely the better vacation island compared to Malta.

- Not really a negative, just a heads up. The people in Malta have a way of speaking that might come across as rude, but they're just pronouncing thing a certain way in a second or third language. There is no offence intended.

Wonderful, modernised old building in a picturesque location. Great staff who can’t do enough for you. Well-appointed room. Made-to-order breakfast.

Everything was great.

The room was clean, and the breakfast was decent.

However, the room was very noisy. From early in the morning, I could hear dishes and glasses being handled in the kitchen and around the pool area, and the owner often spoke loudly on the phone and with guests. The room was also quite small, and so was the bed. The location was another downside for me. The nearest restaurants and the beach were about a 15-minute walk away. The walk there was mostly downhill, but coming back meant a steep uphill climb, which was quite exhausting, especially in the 30°C summer heat.
