This comfortable cottage is located on a small hill, overlooking Flathead Lake and the town of Somers. The two spacious bedrooms adjoin the bathroom. There is a large living room, a small but efficient, fully equipped kitchen, and a separate game room with books, puzzles and cards for rainy days. T.V. and internet are provided. Large outdoor spaces on both sides of the house to choose sun or shade. The deck offers spectacular views of the Swan and Mission Mountains to the east, Flathead Lake and Somers to the south while the patio is a shaded quiet place to relax and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. This home was perfect for our visit to Glacier National Park. Close to hiking and biking, shops and restaurants. It was in the right spot for us to get where ever we were headed for the day. It has the amenities needed, a great view of Flathead Lake, and a lovely patio to enjoy the view. Host provided lots of information about the area and was available if needed. It is a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We found it to be larger than we thought and the deck with sweeping views of the valley and the lake were amazing!!! The beds were super comfy and having so much info on local activities and history was a benefit. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed — even coffee K cups and also a surprise of 2 great bottles of wine and gift card for the delicious Somers Bay Cafe. We did have the challenge of the road coming up but after a couple times I mastered it and we’d definitely come back. Communication with Tim was great and our family will now have awesome memories of playing games on the deck over looking the sunset on the lake. Thanks!!!

We had a great stay! Host was very informative and responsive. Lots of special touches like info for things to do in the area, wine, and a gift certificate for a local resturant. Very clean and my 13 year old daughter loved the books in the TV room! The views were even better than the pictures. We would stay here again for sure.

Timothy was so thoughtful of providing a gift certificate to Somers Cafe & 2 bottles of wine. The property was very clean, spacious, & comfy. The bed was very comfortable. All the necessities provided & then some. Convenient location. We wanted a place that was quiet & relaxing - this fit. Even had a visit from a doe one afternoon. She came right up to the deck. These were very nice accommodations.

Wow, we just loved this place. Clean, cozy, feels like home away from home. Lovely view from the deck, loved all the windows. Puzzles, books, and games to play. Comfy beds, cold AC, fans in bedroom as well. Hot shower, everything works great in the kitchen. Myself, my husband, mom and my 4 year old were all very happy we chose to stay here. There’s bear spray and bug spray near the door, and we were able to do all our laundry there as well. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area! Thank you to the hosts for all the thoughtful details!

The property is just as advertised. The location was perfect. We golfed in Polson, Whitefish and Buffalo Hills. We took the Road to the Sun in Glacier park two days. One day we hiked Avalanche Trial in Glacier. We went on a fishing excursion and the next day rented a boat to just enjoy the lake. The best part was being to come back to the home each evening and still close out the night to a amazing sunset views! Communication was great with Tim. He was always quick to respond. Again a great location and a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our time at this property, especially sitting on the deck and enjoying the lake view. There is traffic noise but the view is worth it. We loved exploring Somers on our daily walks, and everyone we met was so friendly. The driveway is definitely steep but turned into a daily workout for us.

It is a little bit of a drive to west Glacier, about 45 min. It’s a little over 2 hours to east glacier. There is some good hiking in Whitefish, as well , and that’s only 25 min away.

Fun and cozy cabin overlooking the Flathead Lake
We had an excellent time staying at this cabin. Our hosts helped us with recommendations and info and were great to communicate with; they made this a wonderful stay. Their cabin is cozy and warm with everything we needed, although it’s unfortunate that the fireplace can’t support a real fire since the electric heater just doesn’t do justice to the rest of the experience. The cabin’s location is close enough to the highway to make it easy to explore the Flathead Valley, but it’s still quiet and secluded with a beautiful view of the lake. We even arrived to a small group of deer grazing by the front door, and had them wandering outside the windows the whole trip. If you’re renting in the winter, you might need a 4x4. The trail to the cabin from the road was always a little icy, and we ended up having to leave our rental (4x4 with summer tires) at the bottom after a snowy night.

Beautiful views and lovely home. Tim gave us many recommendation for the neighborhood and we truly enjoyed the stay. Very grateful for extra bear spray and bug spray for us to use while hiking in Glacier!

Tim's Place with a Majestic view.
Tim was ready for us before we arrived. The directions were perfect and helpful as we arrived late after missing a connecting flight. The location is perfect for activities, dining, and just plain relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
