Really nice shotgun house in Marigny that was an easy walk to the French Quarter. Given we rented a car the off street parking was perfect. Check in and keyless access was the best I’ve experienced with a VRBO. Checking out some of the local dives was a really nice contrast to traditional French Quarter tourist places.

The pictures just don't do this place justice. It's absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. From the decor down to the comfort of the beds this place can't be beat. Alex provides detailed information about anything you may need.
The French Quarter and Frenchmen St are within walking distance. We'll definitely be returning to this home in the future.

The property was amazing - looked even better in person, and Alex was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and very timely in responses. Awesome location (right next to Marigny and the French Quarter). Would stay again here in a heart beat.

The listing was accurate, the place was great, Alex has a document he provides with all pertinent information about the listing and surrounding areas including grocery stores!! The only semi-negative I would say is with the influx of homeless there are a couple that roam the streets. None of us felt threatened but they were present.

The house was the perfect size for our group. The location was centralized to everything we wanted to do. Iggy's neighborhood bar around the corner was a great place to unwind, the patrons there were so kind and helped us find place to go out of the touristy stuff. Loretta's café a couple blocks from Iggy's by far had the best beignets. Big E arranged our transportation (Recommended by Alex in our rental paperwork) he sent us Cecil for transport to and from the airport and he was the best! Saved Cecil and Big E's numbers for future stays. The backyard was not as picturesque as the listing shows, but the house and overall stay was amazing.

This lovely, comfortable property was a perfect size for our group of five (two couples, one single person), with good common areas (especially kitchen) and beautiful bedrooms/baths. When we arrived, music was playing, there were snacks waiting for us, and the fridge was stocked with great, New Orleans-made beverages. The house is a nice walk to the French Quarter and close to Frenchman Street and to a great grocery store and other amenities. There is a funky, semi-abandoned lot next door, but even that has charm. A situation arose in our group that required a move to a different spot, and the host graciously and immediately offered us another of his available properties with no hesitation and at no additional charge. We highly recommend this property and this host. And if you are looking for a beautiful, big place in a quieter neighborhood a little further out but very close to a streetcar, we highly recommend another of the host's properties, La Belle Cajolee. I imagine it would be hard not to have a good time in New Orleans, but our accommodations and this host made the trip truly exceptional.

The home is beautiful and was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The beds were comfortable, the entertainment system set the ambience, the patio was a relaxing end of our day for a glass of wine, and the welcome treats were an added bonus. The location is just a walk to the French Quarter. Alex is a wonderful host and checked in with us even during a rough storm to make sure we were ok. We highly recommend and will be back when we return to NOLA!

Minutes from our favorite bar on Bourbon Street (Lafitte's) and a few blocks from Frenchmen Street where the bands played jazz and blues which is one of the reasons to come to New Orleans. The property was off the charts, clean, modern and spacious. It had everything we needed and more. The more being snacks and cold beverages that were a great surprise after a 10 hour drive and only having warm beers. Lastly, Alex was an exceptional communicator. I never had to worry about a thing. To me that is a big deal when traveling to a new place. Alex, thank you for everything and we will for sure be back and stay at your property again.

The house was very spacious on the inside with a lovely fenced area to relax in the back. The house had an alarm system for added peace of mind. Highly recommend!
