The property was actually nicer than the pictures depict! Had room for everyone to spread-out, and everything was well equipped. Our (older) kids spent most of the time on the pool table listening to tunes downstairs, and we enjoyed doing puzzles and cooking with the fireplace on upstairs. Can recommend Maggie's Nature Park for a nice 1.5 hour RT hike, and the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum in Bethel was awesome if you're a science nerd. Definitive Brewing Company was also a nice treat. Donna was exceptional in her communication and support - even on Christmas Eve!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. This was our first time in Maine and we explored the area including Bethel and Sunday River Ski area. Donna described the house perfectly. It has has a lot of rustic charm and fun decor. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the fire pit and game room were a lot of fun and Donna was extremely responsive. We highly recommend the spot for anyone who wants to be in the Greenwood area.

Donna's place is fantastic! A well stocked kitchen, super comfortable furniture, and Dog Friendly! We rescued a puppy that was lost in the woods for 10 days while staying there, and watching that pup reunite with her family was something we will never forget. Definitely recommend!

The home is very comfortable, warm, and welcoming. The beds were amazing, soft, and fluffy. The kitchen had everything we needed. (We forgot to buy Kcups so had to pick up coffee in town). The area is quiet and I walked my dog up and down the dirt road, admiring the beautiful fall leaves. Had amazing sandwiches at The Local Hub down the road. Would like to return in the summer to adventure out to the nearby lakes. A real treat.

The property is immaculate. Donna was so attentive in making our stay as perfect as we could have imagined. Our family has been through a tough year with the passing of two close relatives. We were looking to get away and spend some time with the kids, and this property exceeded our expectations! Donna has it decorated in such a warm, and welcoming way. The fire pit out on the beautifully groomed patio, made us feel like we were at a 5 star resort...and we have stayed at many! We made smores with the kids, after a barbecue, and spending time playing horseshoes in the beautiful backyard, and then retired in to enjoy some pool, while our youngest played his video games, in the entertainment room and ate popcorn. There is a shower on every level which made it nice for a family of 6. There is a beautiful fireplace, which I am certain creates just the perfect ambiance as the cold autumn air sets in over Maine. The upper deck has a wonderful seating area and a large table to have family meals, or just sit and take in the sunrise or sunset. Donna has lighting surrounding the patio which makes for such a spectacular view. The linens on the the cozy beds were so warm and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to experience the wonders of Maine, the comforts of home, with the luxuries and feel of a 5 star resort! Thank you Donna! We will be back!

We couldn’t have had a better experience for our winter stay! The house was wonderful! Cozy, clean and inviting, kitchen fully stocked for cooking, and enough space for everyone to spread out and relax. This spot could not be more perfect. We searched for a last minute getaway and our experience from first communicating with owners was amazing and very quick to response. Very clean and bigger then the pictures show. Showing up you felt like family, which is tough to do with just a house, very comfortable and warm. Already talking about when we can go back.

A beautiful rustic cabin in the woods, was the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. Donna’s place is very well appointed, clean and comfortable. It’s accessible to everything we needed (Breweries, groceries, hiking, Sunday River) and we even ventured out to Portland for a day trip. 4 wheel drive is helpful in the winter, especially for some of the hiking areas. The pool table was a nice bonus! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We couldn't have found a more perfect place to spend Thanksgiving 2020! Needing to see a different "four walls" and to reconnect with our college-aged children, we rented Donna and Paul's home. We were thrilled with it and decided it's our favorite place we've rented. The house was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated without personal mementos to remind you that you're in someone else's home. There was lots of space to spread out for alone time, but also great gathering space for fireside relaxing and pool playing. Bedrooms were comfy and bathrooms were on all three floors. Because of the pandemic, we ate all our meals at the house and had our Thanksgiving dinner, too. The kitchen had everything we needed and was open to the rest of the living space. The house is quiet and is located on a dead end road; easy to take walks. As other reviewers have remarked, Donna was a pleasure to communicate with and the house was very clean. We highly recommend this great getaway log cabin!

This is a lovely, modern, and spacious log home with room on three levels for both privacy and community. In warmer weather, there is a large deck overlooking a patio and fire pit. The woods behind the house on this small road offer peace and quiet and room to roam with your dog. Nearby ponds, Bethel, Mt. Abrams, and Sunday River make this a year round vacation home. Responsive owner and wonderful place to stay.

We must have stayed just after Kristin and had a similar great experience. We're a group of six (including two adult children) and a very happy dog all leaving tomorrow morning. The house is private and incredibly comfortable. Because of a cold snap we spent a couple of days largely indoors and found the house an incredibly relaxing place, with plenty of room for either privacy or socializing. Dealing with Donna was easy and, again, her suggestions were very helpful.

We would highly recommend...We stayed during the week of Christmas and everything was excellent. Donna was great to work with, giving us lots of suggestions, the place was absolutely beautiful, clean and very accommodating for our family and we had such an amazing Christmas we will never forget!

What a terrific property. Very private and secluded area. The house was beautiful. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children). We had plenty of room to spread out. All of my kids had their own bed (very important to them!). The kitchen had everything you could want. Nice open floor plan. Basement was terrific with pool table, laundry, bunk beds and futon! Donna was very quick to answer any questions and was very helpful. Very clean. I would definitely recommend staying there. We went to Mt Washington in New Hampshire for a day trip, drove on the 13 mile trail and saw a moose, rented a boat on Long Lake and went water skiing and tubing. Had a great time!

Donna was easy to work with and quick to respond to all questions when booking the house. The house itself is immaculate and large enough for a big group to play pool & games, but also to spread out and have privacy. It's an easy 20 minute drive to Sunday River and there is a great coffee/general store at the end of the neighborhood, before you get onto the main road, to grab coffee and snacks for the mountain or a bottle of wine on the way home for the night. I'd definitely recommend this rental.

We enjoyed spending the long weekend at Donna's house. When we arrived late on Friday night everything was already ready for us, bed were made and all bathrooms had towels. the house was warn and Donna had even left some coffee and basic supplies.
The description of the house in the listing is very accurate and all items worked as described.
The house was clean and well cared for.
Donna was very responsive when we needed help with getting the driveway and road sanded due to unusual icy weather condition. Donna was also very quick to respond and fix an issue with the water.
We loved the fireplace and the pool table. The house accomodated 10 people very comfortably. It is easy driving distance to Sunday River and very close to Mt. Abraham.
I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to spent some time in Maine close to Ski resort.

This home was so comfortable, clean and pretty our entire family enjoyed it. Perfect vacation to wind down and relax in a beautiful setting. The pool table was great and gave the family a chance to play together and just have some good old quality family time!! We vacationed here in the summer and enjoyed, kayaking, jet skiing, hiking, Sunday River gondola ride, zip lining, seeing Step Auger Falls and visiting Frenchman's Hole Reef, a watering hole where the kids jumped into the water which was awesome. Looking forward to returning for the skiing season! Highly recommend this house - we loved it!

A nice location, close to the ski resorts yet exclusive location a few miles away on a mountain near some really nice lakes.
My brother is a designer for many west coast people who have cabins all over the country but this owner wouldn't have needed his help as they did an amazing job!

I highly recommend renting this beautiful house. Great location... close to both Sunday River and Mt. Abram. House was beautiful, cozy, and classy. Very clean and well maintained. Attention to detail in all aspects. Indoor space was great for relaxing, but also for entertaining: the basement has a great pool table, TV area, and is roomy for all family to enjoy!
Donna was very attentive, courteous, and accessible. Definitely coming back!
