A 3-unit structure, this is at least part of Ezra Wait's old house and tavern, according to town history. I the owner live in the front unit, the middle unit is the rental, and the back (the old barn) is commercial space. The house is set back from the road.
I would describe it as modest but comfortable.
Notes:
*No shoes in the house please.
*1st floor queen bed is on the softer side.
2nd floor twin beds - 1 is softer, 1 is average.
*Stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than average.
*No tv.

Thanks again Meg for a great stay in Waitsfield. Great location for our visit. The leaves were colorful, and the beer was good! We enjoy staying in your cozy house, always nice to come back to at the end of each day. Looking forward to our next stay.

We loved staying at Meg's place! She was a responsive and thoughtful host, and the location is perfect.
FYI, the stairs are a bit steep & narrow and the bathroom is on the 2nd floor. This was not an issue for me, but my Mom felt a little uncomfortable. Again, not a big deal for most people, just something to consider if you are traveling with a person who has trouble with certain staircases.
Overall, we loved the stay and visiting Waitsfield. Thanks Meg!
