The Cottage Is Located On 'The Golden Mile' Which Gets It's Meaning From a Beautiful Beach That You Can Walk For Miles and Sunsets That Are Unbelievable. South Haven Beaches Were Rated As One of the Top 10 Beaches In the Midwest By the Chicago Tribune. The Cottage Is Located Across the Street From Lake Michigan,and Between Two Public Beaches That Are Approximately a Half a Block Away. The Cottage Was Recently Remodeled For Summer or Winter. The Cottage has Heat, Air-Conditioning As Well As Ceiling Fans To Keep You Comfortable. An Attached Deck with Table, Umbrella and Chairs Is a Great Place To Barbecue or Just Relax.There Is a Back Yard with a Fire Pit and Plenty of Firewood, Which Is Shared with Another Cottage and the Main House. With Various Activities In the Area, There Is Plenty To Do. From Boating, Biking, Golfing, Wine Tasting, Art Fairs and Plenty of Antiquing Throughout the Year. We Are Just a Short Walk To Downtown For Shopping or Dinner. We Provide Off Street Parking For One Car with Additional Parking On the Street. This little cabin was very clean & cozy. It was close to 2 state park trails that we enjoyed since we are hikers. A little cool & windy but we still enjoyed the beach. And also close to the downtown area. We enjoyed dinner at Clementines & breakfast at Six Chicks.

Just a few minutes walk to the beach and less than a mile walk to great restaurants! Quiet even though South Haven and restaurants were very busy. The cottage was spotless and exactly what we needed - loved the deck for morning coffee and evenings. Thank you to housekeeping staff as well for finding my favorite sweater!

My 5 year old son & I had a wonderful time staying here at the end of October. Perfect location and kept clean. It's walking distance to a couple different beach entrances, close to restaurants, shops and a lighthouse. Gary was helpful with some restaurant recommendations close by. We found 2 different playgrounds that were fun and even had a bonfire one night! I highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back again in the summer!

Really enjoyed our stay. The town and beach were beautiful and everything was in walking distance. I live in the city so being able to see the stars at night so intimately was an experience I'll never forget! House was clean just a lot of spiders to look out for. Overall I would stay here again. This cottage is exactly as described. Less than 1/4 mile from beach access and a short walk into town (walking or biking is recommended over driving). Host could not have been more welcoming. This property had everything we were looking for in a one week getaway.

The location is top notch for going to the beach, walking to town, or to Bunde's for breakfast. We loved the little deck and the size of the yard. It was really quiet which was nice, even though the outside space is shared. There is a bedroom and fold out couch in the living area which was perfect for three adults, one on the fold out couch and two in the bedroom. The owners were great with communication and we had no issues at all while we were there. Would definitely stay again!

This cottage is adorable and well appointed. I loved having a big siding door and an outdoor deck to enjoy the sunshine. A very short walk to a number of beach access points.

This little cottage was very clean and the location can't be beat however it is really, really small. I think even for two people it is almost too small. I also wish I had known there would only be a few television channels available because I would have brought my laptop to watch Netflix or Discovery Plus. Overall though, we had a great stay.

Very welcoming hosts and wonderful property to spend a weekend at! Nice fire pit and walkable to beaches nearby. If this is your first time to south haven go to Bunde’s bakery for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee.

Place was a little smaller than we realized but it was not a problem. It had everything we needed for our short getaway stay. 5 minute walk to 2 nice beaches and 5 minute drive from bigger North Beach and Pier.

One of the nicest cottage's I've stayed at in South Haven

Owners were easy to communicate with, although I didn't have any need to contact them during my stay. It's a wonderful location; you're merely a few feet away from 2 beaches and a third beach is only 2 blocks away. Everything is within walking or biking distance. The cottage itself is small, but more than adequate, I'd say, for 1 or 2 people. It's very well kept, especially considering this cottage is always booked back to back! I'm kinda OCD where cleanliness is concerned... but other than a couple of cobwebs and the throw rugs all needing to be laundered (in my opinion- because there was sand in all of them), I felt very comfortable with the level of cleanliness. My sincere thanks to the Anton's for providing a great place to land for some much needed R & R and to recharge! I highly recommend this property. (Note: I've stayed in several different vaca rentals over the years of vacationing in South Haven, & while most were `okay'... this is the first time I've ever recommended one.) This will be my preferred `go to' place when visiting South Haven in the future.
