The owner was really kind, and the flat was cozy and spotless. We totally recommend this place.

Disappointing: disfunctional AC and fridge

The property was well presented and included free parking.

Unfortunately any positives were outweighed by the fact that the air conditioning did not work during temperatures of 37 degrees Celsius. This meant we did not get adequate sleep despite having paid a small fortune for our stay (€390 for 2 nights). Further to this, the host insisted that the fridge was kept on setting 4 (pretty audacious in and of itself considering how much we were paying) whilst it didnt even work properly. We turned it down to 1 and found that in spite of this it didn’t cool our food adequately. We had some food that ended up going bad. Finally, the host was insistent on a deposit - this was the first of its kind anywhere we’d gone. We brought up the problem of the A/C and no compensation or anything has been proposed at the time of this review. Pepe had told us it was looked at. While there was a small improvement it was short lived. The rest of the night was stuffy much like the first.

Think twice about staying here

The apartment is really nice

The neighbors dog downstairs barked incessantly our whole vacation and ruined our peace and quiet. There was a really strong smell of sewage in the apartment every evening, it was unbearable and gave my wife and I really bad headaches, so much so that we had to check out 3 days early and pay to stay at another rental, the owner refused to refund us any monies or take ownership, they didn’t even apologize, the communication was very poor. We brought both of these items to the owners attention and were made to feel we were not being truthful, in fact Nuria said to us “we have a high rating and have never had a complaint as such”, to which we explained, sometimes things come up, we also own vacation rentals in Canada. This really upset us as we have been to over 50 countries, we are a retired couple, and have stayed in 100’s of rentals to which we have never left a negative review, (in fact are we Genius top level users with Booking.com), and felt the owner did not respect our feelings or thoughts on issues with the rental, we felt very disrespected. The apartment has very thin walls with no insulation and you can hear conversations of the neighbors, including toilet flushing and walking accross the floor with shoes on, etc and the neighbors baby cried non-stop. The view from the apartment is of a field where local residence take their dogs to go to the bathroom. The apartment faces the road and starting early in the morning motor bikes and cars start around 6:00am and because the apartment faces the garbage and recycling containers, this also will wake you up early when these are emptied. We had seen previous complaints that there was not a toaster and we thought, this must be a mistake, we had stayed in several rentals in Spain and they all had toasters, not this one. The owner told us the Panini maker was the toaster.

Perfect.

Excellent host, the apartment was perfect for us. The beds are really comfy and we had the comfiest pillows I have ever slept on (I want to know where they are from!) I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Exceptional

The host was there waiting for me. He spoke good and clear English which make every thing very easy. The apartment was very spacious, and clean, everything is just spot on. It would suit you very much if you are driving around.
