The guesthouse is located at 2000 meters height, in a very small and ancient village, surrounded by old and historical houses which are full of history. The place could not be more relaxing, as it takes a short mountian road to reach it.
The family that runs the guesthouse makes you feel like in a family and they're always there and always responsive in anything, from choice of the breakfast menu, to organising day trips with private drivers.
The rooms are big, clean and very cozy.
The people of the small village are very friendly.
I totally suggest it, for a real immersive "Chinese" experience, out of the noise. A really wonderful mountain guesthouse, which puts guests into contact with locals.
The price, is realle excellent.

The hosts were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. They were very lovely and the room was very nice.
The location is close to the airport but quite far from the city.

Situated about 20km out of Kunming, but close to the airport, this wonderful guesthouse is full of charm and beautiful gardens.
The owner is warm and caring and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, well fed and organized transport for us each day.
A 20 min car ride puts you at the train station and from there you can explore the city and return to the quiet serenity of the village. There are a number of good restaurants and a few shops for supplies a short walk away.
