We liked the way the rooms were spread out over the property and there were many places to sit and chill. Also, we liked the games area close to the restaurant. The swimming pool was also very nice, clean and ok size.
The food was also good and the staff adjusted the meals for our vegetarian daughter.
The bar could have been better staffed - in general, drinks seemed to be on a completely different (slow) schedule than food. Beers would come after a game AND a dinner, so you really need to be on top of the staff for this, which is a pity. The bar was often unstaffed and even with reminders, nobody would come until half an hour later to even start making a drink.
Our room was close to the river and this resulted in poor wifi. Not a problem, but good to know!

Chunuu was an incredible value and had everything you could ever need - breakfast included, parking, they let you fill up your water bottles at the bar, AC in the room, direct river access, amazing pool, you can pay by card… and much more! Absolutely the best place we stayed in Colombia. I would’ve stayed a month if I could - 2 nights was nowhere near enough.
It is not right in the center, but 100% worth it for everything this place has to offer, and it is less than a 10 minute walk.

Great value for money (glamping hut).
A lot of beautiful places to relax.
Swimming pool and river to cool down.
Walking distance to the village so you have a lot of dining options
Too noisy to really "get in touch with nature", at least for us.
First of all: beds in the glamping hut(s) are NOT FOR "LONG" PEOPLE (>1,8m). I'm 1,8m and managed to just fit in by moving the bed a little. If you're any longer, better check before booking.
We didn't get a lot of sleep in the morning:
At 6:30 they start sweeping around the glamping huts. Sounds silly, but this will easily wake you up as it's right next to your bed.
One morning, a truck was parked next to our hut to extract the 💩. This was very loud and took around 45 minutes. So we were awake from 6:30, meanwhile breakfast didn't start until 8.
The first day we arrived at 9:15 for breakfast, they were already out of fruits and didn't allow us to refill our plate. Therefore we made sure to arrive at 08:00 for breakfast the following days.
WiFi connection is unstable and sometimes does not work at all.
Other than that there are some small upgrades that could easily be fixed:
- proper locks on all the shower doors
- working soap dispensers in all toilets and showers
- cleaning under the beds
- "Jacuzzi" was more of regular bath
All in all a nice place but could be so much nicer with some fix-ups and policy adjustments, as others have mentioned before. If you can overlook these, as we could, you'll still very much enjoy your stay here.

-The accommodation itself was beautiful and the wooden tents (for glamping) were super cute.
- The showers have no roof which is a bit inconvenient if it’s raining (which it was).
- The restaurant gave us foodpoisoning.
- the wooden tents aren’t fully closed so beware of mosquitoes
- The tent was directly next to the river which is super loud
- It’s nice that they have pool, but it’s actually too cold to swim in.
