Welcome to Daydreamer! An adorable beachside home in Pirates Beach Subdivision with beach views. It's perfect for small families looking to get away to the beach on a budget. This quaint 836 sq ft home is just a quick two block walk to the beach. The deck is a great place to enjoy the cool breeze and views of the Gulf of Mexico. Daydreamer is dog friendly with a limit of two (2) dogs at a combined maximum weight of 50 lbs and will require an additional $100 non-refundable fee per pet. Stop daydreaming about the beach... come experience it instead in this affordable home. Ground Level: Parking for 4 vehicles; Laundry Room. Main Level: Open concept living room, dining and kitchen. Living room sleeps two (2) with a full futon. Master Bedroom has a Queen bed. Bedroom 2 with a Daybed and Twin Trundle. Covered and Uncovered deck with Gulf views. Location: 3 minute walk to the beach; 9 mile drive to 61st Street; 12.1 mile drive to 25th & Strand; 8.2 miles to Moody Gardens/Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Notes: Although provided, WiFi access/Cable/Dish service can be unreliable here on the West End of Galveston Island. We apologize, but Gary Greene Vacation Rentals is unable to guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay and is unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services. Beautiful small two bedroom house with the view of the ocean. Just lovely. Just one thing: there is no window insulation or heat blocking on the south and west sides where the bedroom windows are and it got so hot, A/C could not keep up with the heat. Completely improper window coverings let all the sunlight and heat come in to the bedrooms.
Everything else was just wonderful.

The two of us selected this property because of its proximity to the beach and a dog friendly rental. The description is accurate and in addition they had puzzles, games, and books to help us pass the time on our rainy days. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and they had an outdoor shower and second shower and restroom in the ground level laundry area for any extra beach clean up. Any issues we had were addressed by property management right away. Quaint beach house and we would stay again.

We got engaged the day before our Arrival. This was the perfect place to celebrate and enjoy each other. The neighborhood was quiet and we had the beach to ourselves

Perfect spot for my husband, myself and our little puppies. Close enough to the beach to visit several times a day. Close enough to downtown to pick up great food. Clean and cute!

Very Comfortable and Cute!
Overall impression is that the house was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the community is quite and quaint.
The only problem was that the mattress for the sofa bed isn't for sleeping. The mattress needs to be replaced. No one could sleep on it. My son went to a hotel. the futon was slept well. There should be safety bars in the shower. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will return!

This place was perfectly located with great view of the beach. The power went out early in the morning because of strong winds. The house began to get cold so we had to get up and leave.

Relaxing stay with a perfect location. The house was a 3 min walk to the beach. The house has everything you needed to fix meals, we even baked a cake.
Every room (bedrooms, living area) has a sliding door with beach views and a deck. The neighborhood was quiet and far from the hustle and bustle of the sea wall yet close enough to get to restaurants and grocery stores.
I appreciated that the bed linens were cotton. Towels were provided, although we brought our own.
The house was very clean. And mop, broom, dustpan are provided so you can sweep up the sand that inevitably gets inside. The washer and dryer were handy. We stayed two weeks and wish we could’ve stayed longer. We were a family of three, 2 adults and a 13 year old girl and our 6 pound Yorkshire terrier. Our dog, Bruno loved being out on the deck and laying in the sun. I was worried that because this house was pet-friendly, there might be animal odor, but it was very clean.
The only issue we had was the drain was slow in the tub, not enough to ruin our stay, just a little inconvenient.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would stay again.

The home was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean. Staff very responsive! No dishwasher or garbage disposal, but was not a big deal. Quiet little area. View of the beach. Few minutes walk to beach. Trendy inside decor. We loved it!

Great place!
We really enjoyed spending time at Pirate's Beach - the property was super quaint, had all of the basics - and it was walkable to the beach! We had a great time walking our pup on the shoreline. Thank you for providing a great space to spend the weekend!

The Daydreamer is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. The kitchen is not huge, but met our needs perfectly! Great view of the beach and easy beach access. They even provide a few toys downstairs (there is a washer and dryer, shower, and toilet downstairs as well)
The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pans. There is not a dishwasher, but this wasn’t an issue during our stay. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed driving through the neighborhood during our stay.
We would consider the Daydreamer again for our stay next year!
